Iwa getting sent to battle like a goddam pokemon haha Loved this episode, just like the others. Took time to adress Kyouken-chan's character motivations and progression, but it didn't feel too slow. There was a slight drop in animation quality, but I'm hopeful the last two episodes will deliver. ''I feel my lifespan get shorter every time Oikawa-kun's time to serve comes around.'' A-fucking-men to that. |

| This is just getting more and more intense, didn't expect you end up liking Mad Dog either tbh. And that ending was just hilarious, I'm hyped for the next 2 episodes! It's definitely going to be intense. |

| The animation was quite average and the pacing felt slower than usual, but the match keeps remaining quite gripping. Shoyo and Kageyama have yet to have their own time to shine, so looking forward to that. |

| Ahhh. That time of the week where life is great for 20mins <3 Great episode, not as good as the previous one but that's okay. That bland guy that yelled at Mad dog made me cringe. Man, I love Tanaka so much. His face always makes me laugh. And the little bit of subtle interactions between him and other team members are so priceless. |

| Kentarou's drama was nice, I guess? I'm not super-fond of him, but ye, it was good. I loved how Yahaba confronted him, had lots of impact, and it was totally unexpected. But man, that last moment was super-cool! |

| Just when I thought we haven't seen enough of Hinata in this episode, he destroys it in the last second. I also really loved Mad Dog's flashback, that older guy is really cool. Tanaka is probably the funniest character I've ever seen, he never fails to not make me smile :D Also, Tanaka's sister is really cute ^_^ |

| it's interesting to see how the other teams are explained in detail including the explanation of the background of each player so that they don't feel shallow at all. both teams are having a match each with their own reasons and determination. in this episode there's the mad dog rampaging and wreaking havoc, well it's not exactly that but rather the need of a proper mindset for him. it's shown how he starts to understand the value of cooperating with everyone. with this seijoh as a team stays even more than before as a formidable opponent against karasuno. we've already reached the third set so things will only get more intense in the upcoming episode now. |

| Awww, Kyoutani really loves volleyball, although he would really fit in with a bosozoku gang or looks like a yankee and talks like one too. I'm surprised he didn't rip his teammate a new one when he got shoved against a wall. He seems like a good guy overall, I'm liking him a lot more now. He might be my third favorite character. |

Oikawa can get almost every player- even the awkward ones- eating out of the palm of his hand. Will Kageyama ever be on that level, I wonder?? Also, Yahaba is more gutsy than I pegged him for. You tell him, dude!! |

| I thought last Seijoh set last season was not great. I felt it was too baseless and devolved into hype action without giving much substance. It went on too long when it may have well been a fast montage. That was my end thought anyways. This one I do not think that way with! It's full of strategy and character centric moments and development. That in mind it's way more hype than season 1 tried to be. I've grown into loving hating Oikawa. He's so fun to hate. Because deep down we love and respect him. Tanaka squaring off with Mad Dog because it's his nature and Tsukki using that to enrage him and send him out of control was glorious. Great way to counter one of their three major players. Then it lead to a backstory that made my eyes water the entire time. He just wants to be like the dad he looks up to, so even though he's out of his element he's trying his best. Him smiling at that gym he was going to after hitting one over the net added a level of cuteness to him I hadn't seen before. It's why when, to tame the mad dog one of Seijoh's own challenged him and bite him first, was brilliant. The best way to tame a mad dog is to show it up in its own game. It's also Iwa did. It was enough for him to get put into line and show some respect. To cool down. And finally it allowed him to become a true part of the team with his point. His guidance from that mentor of his way a sweet way to get him back to Seijoh. And the dunk!!! Oh my god, Mad Dog came back and Karasuno's advantage left but now we got a new accidental counter. Dunk spikes to slip under their controlled space. So cool. |

| Oo, we got to see some of Mad Dog-chan's past. I don't think he's that much of a likeable character though if I'm honest, because of his personality. The scene with Yahaba was nice, especially since he's a character I never knew existed. |

| Damn this match has been fantastic. From character centric moments and development to strategy to pure hype. This has everything. Rule the Court vs Fly I love both the banners! Can't wait to see how this plays out. |

| that ending. wow. that was epic. come one hinata, i want to see your endgame play. so right after tsukishima found mad dog's weakness, we learn his backstory. haikyuu never stop to amaze me with character development. the note about oikawa's serves to make his lifespan short. lol that felt so true. |
