| Is Ishida hinting at how the ghouls came to be? What happened to Shirazu's sister could be how the first ghouls were born. Hyped for the next chapter. I think it won't take long for it to be released. |
| The pace is being soo slow. I thought that Urie would begin to be more... likeable after being such a badass in the last chapter but nope, he's still being annoying as fuck. If Ishida intends to do something big with him, it has to be soon 'cause they have been already more than 40 chapters dealing with this fucker. And what on earth was that kagune/tree/wtf in the eye of Shirazu's sister/brother/whatever... And I don't like that Akira is already suspicious about Floppy. Don't ruin the surprise, woman! |
| Other than the delay, no wonder this chap took a while. So much dialogue. Poor Shu. They're all accepting the fact Haise is a different person now. Dat ROS disease on Shirazu's sister is creepy af damn! Good to see Shirazu's resolve renewed. Lol at his haircut. Operation Mask incoming. Liking Ihe more and more for some reason. |

They pretend to be ghouls and infiltrate.... aogiri? Rose? Has it been specified? I suspect Tsukiyama screwing something up, probably harming one of the QS members and haise attacks him. But that'll probably happen in later chapters. Or something. |
| Great dialogue chapter. Loved the interactions of the characters. Shirazu is really growing more and more on me. Was nice to see his story and also that he care so much for his sister and finally wanted to get stronger for that purpose. The best part for me was Shuu and Touk/Nishiki. So awesome that Touka said re: is there to give Kaneki a home when he gets his memories back and has nowhere to go. They really care for him and i think even Shuu understood why they didn't try anything to make him remember, but being so obsessed with him he won't stop as he said. Still, i want Touka to do so we can get our old gang back. You better didn't find a guy Touka, you belong to Kaneki, girl! |

| I always get hyped when we see the Anteiku members, especially Touka (she definitely matured greatly). There really has been a lot of hints in this chapter. - What does it mean 'dangerous' if they reach Arima's level of achievements? - Foreshadowing of Amon? Does Akira have an idea who it might be? - Is that what Touka really thinks? |

| -Tsukiyama at .re. Glad seeing the sass of Touka again, everytime she appeared in TG:re she acted dandere, but we like the old one better. Nishiki and Touka are right on this one but I still want Kaneki back even tho Sasaki is cool. -Don't like the way Urie preaches it but he's right, Shirazu better get his shit together. His sister was so cute :(( So that's why he joined. Well he better do a better job then to save her. Fura, nice seeing him, I think he helped Shirazu with his talk tbh. Bold Shirazu ayy lmao -I like these CCG 'round tables'. What's with Ui these days, he just wants to play it safe. He's still right but playing it safe never works in Tokyo Ghoul universe it seems. Ihei :33333333333 -Hmmm...what does Akira want with Saiko I wonder. Old said: Okay, I just read the scan of chapter 42. It seems Imperial's translator didn't get what Haru was trying to say. The original Japanese text is like this: ギン…に…ちゃ… …おに…ん……に……たい… …おひ…ま…み…いに… …レイ…に… Imho, the gaps have to be filled like this: ギンシお兄ちゃん... お兄ちゃん... キレイになりたい... おひめさまみたいに... キレイに... Which translates to: Ginshi-oniichan... Oniichan... I want to be beautiful... As beautiful as... A princess... That's the reason why Nutcracker's last line hit him so much. | Really liked the chapter. Good to see Tsukiyama almost back to his old self, though he still lacks his fabulous aura and behavior. Looking forward to seeing how he tries (and fails) to bring back Ken. It was kinda strange seeing Shirazu's sister on one page, and on the next she has a kagune-like growth coming out of her eye, not to mention the horrible symptoms. I can't imagine what it's like to see a loved one in that state, so I hope everything works out for Shirazu and Haru... somehow. Special thanks to Z4k and the guy who translated that, it really has a much bigger impact that way. Koori annoys me, I didn't understand why he was so opposed to Haise's plan. Well, whatever, glad the vote got past. Unfortunately for me, one page was all it took to spoil it for me. Ihei is still a cutie. Hopefully Urie finishes Kanae off next time, and I can't wait to see what Eto has planned. There's only one thing that's bothering me - no way in hell should Akira somehow know Saiko's savior was Amon. To go undercover means they're going to meet ghouls and allow them to live, be free, and eat humans afterwards. If it got out to the public it would be a press nightmare for the CCG. (i hope the people calling for kaneki to get back already see that bit and wait) the mask operation seems like it would bring nothing but trouble, because there is no way it will end up being 100% successful. shirazu cutting his hair off was a surprise. his backstory was even more surprising. (like someone said, is that how ghouls started???) |
