This episode also has Masato in it so that's a bit of troublesome. Idk how I feel about Rinne's rivalry with him though. It feels a bit silly but makes sense, I guess? I also noticed that Kain has a bit of talent when it comes to art. Those drawings have talent behind them!  |

| The money was "stolen" and it somehow got to Rinne. Rinne and Sabato ended up escaping together. (lol @ Panda on the money) Trying to find the truth. And fight in two groups, leaving humans behind until the attack got to Tsubasa. There are two cases with M (M for shinigami's official, and M for Masato), and the bomb (from Sabato to attack Rinne) and the money were switched when bumping with Kain and the case seller. Christmas ep. next. With 4 more eps. left, I only have a little to no hope for her to appear (she is one of kind of important supporting characters like Kain in my opinion). |

| This was unbelievably lame and overly childish episode. It wasn't funny at all, and I cringed everytime they came with another "shocking" reveleation. If they tried to imitate Ace Attorney feel, they fail'd too hard. Whole premise of this episode was stupid and whoever wrote those infantile dialogues should better never write anything else in the future. |

| This series went downhill fast. The humor was pretty childish. It worked when it was Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha but I guess I've graduated from that kind of humor. Its appeal is geared towards children and young teens and I'm no teenager anymore. Still, I want to know how the series ends. |

| A classic case of swapped briefcases. Not very original. But it was fun. Masato's involvement made it worth it. Sakura saying "Oy vey"? What's wrong with these subs? In the end, Rinne did end up swiping 10k for his troubles... Understandable. The next Christmas episode seems promising. But man, the direction in this episode was so bland, I'm kinda worried about it. This episode felt like it'd be worth a laugh or two if I read the manga chapter. Which would probably take a few minutes compared to the 20-minute-long episode. Most of the Rinne episodes feel like very straightforward adaptations done with a minimal amount of effort. The comedic timing and delivery of past Rumiko anime like Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 just aren't there. This episode in particular felt like it was an adaptation of 1 or maybe 2 short chapters. Which is barely enough to fit into a 20-minute episode. So instead of making up creative original content to fill up the runtime as the original Urusei Yatsura did all those years ago, they just adapted the same 1 or 2 chapters in the slowest way possible. And I feel like a lot of the episodes of this anime can be summed up that way. |
