| I've watched a lot of series now (over the past year) and I see in most cases people complaining about filler in anime. It got me wondering, where does the MAL community (you lovely(or not so)) people stand on this topic. I for one am a little divided on this topic, on one hand it's an opportunity to develop the world and characters; on the other it can just be a re-hash of what has just transpired over so many episodes. Either way I see a lot of unfair hate put onto filler, I for one would be disappointed to see it go. |

| Since I have all the anime in my hard drive and can review them whenever I want, I think fillers are really unnecessary. Edit: Mistaken filler for recap episodes. I still don't like fillers though. |

| besides naruto fillers which have pissed me off with shippuuden having 420 episodes of which 100+ are fillers, i watch them unless they piss me off are go out of track with the adaptation (if i was read the manga/ln/vn already) |

| Is this thread about people's stances on Naruto fillers or fillers in general, lol? Just asking because stuff like Bokurano and FMA 2003 deviate from the original stuff, but still remain solid with 50% or so of the anime being anime original material. |

Filler in general, I have to agree though, like others have said Naruto is one of the worst offenders; I don't think you can even have a filler topic without mentioning that series. |
