oHMYGOD I'M SO SORRY ILYSM TRUST ME

LOL no, well idk actually *^* what kinda person do you think I would be ? :^)

Ah thats a good point, my friend played one and said it took a long time before she was actually good. LOL SAME HERE! that's how I play piano songs now haha. But I think I might have to learn how to read notes because I am learning bass now LOL
lol im sure, I'm in a music comp class and I was using a keyboard for one of my songs and my previous playing helped me in the same way. When I watch videos of the notes coming down on a synthesiser I can usually do it. :o

I agree lmao, the only thing I have watched that many times (+?) is probably Spirited Away, I could watch the forever haha. DEFINITELY! experience it all over again x) Yeah I'm really glad we are able to be so close :,). Well the age gap is pretty big so I'm sure that helps but we also like the same stuff pretty much, music, movies, anime all that jazz. Maybe find somethings you have in common and do them together?

Oh thats pretty cool, I think i'm too lazy to even try it out though. When I don't have to exercise for school I prefer to spend my time in front of some sorta screen LOL. I think its pretty cool that you like to try those studies out though. * personally I think refreshing reddit and youtube is a skill on its own ;) *

that's exactly what made us chose the name! she has spots all over her back and it makes us think of pixel art too lmao. spot on! haha true, they are always galloping around x)
Aw that sucks :,( I hate when people make their animals strays. We used to have a sandbox in our backyard but we got rid of it because the neighborhood strays would always use it as a litter box ;_;/ They still come around to chase birds sometimes though haha

He appreciates it! He has an album coming out soon, when it comes out want me to send you the link? I will give them a listen!

LOOL dude that episode was legendary
oh btw idk if you have ever watched Initial D or seen some memes of these OST songs but these guys made power metal covers of them and THEY KICK ASS LMAO

ridingwithstars Sep 2, 2017 1:02 PM
Ahhh sorry the the really late reply! I had to finish up some summer work before my freshman year starts :") (2 DAYS LEFT ARGH)

Oh what happened? You think so? I feel like maybe the violin would be the most difficult, idk tho lolol. Oh yeah that's a good point lolol, tbh I forgot how to read notes a long time ago, I just remember what keys to press for songs heh :*) Seriously..? I wouldn't have expected that! Do you know why it made it easier? Haha well as long as it helped!

Jesus the entire show 5 times? I don't know if I have the time for that LOL. Man that would be fun! When I watch anime with my brother we turn a like 20 minute episode into like a 50 minute session because we are always pausing it and talking about our theories n shit LOL

LOL, besides anime and music what are you other hobbies??
Well we named Pixel, Pixel because she has a ton of spots all over her heh not so creative but it's cute :") and then Zefer is always thundering around the house so we named him Zef, Zefer is the god of wind, his name isn't spelled like that but idc :-).
Well me and my dad let Zefer out sometimes when no one else is home so he can play in the grass outside :) But we keep him in the backyard, he doesn't really go anywhere so it's okay. My cats are shorthair so they don't really shed, maybe you could think about getting a shorthair?
I will send you some pictures of my cats sometime :D

Ahh my brother and I were just listening to Sum 41 and Blink 182 last night! I told him that and he really appreciated it :) Me too! Haha no we don't have a garage they play in a practice space somewhere in the area. They have played a few gigs already and the crowd really loves them, I hope they are successful :)!

LOL that was incredible
Oh by the way I thought this song would make you love rap ;)

IM ACTUALLY DYING THIS IS SO FUCKING FUNNY
ridingwithstars Aug 24, 2017 9:33 AM
Yeah :)! Thank you :) I play jazz music with my parents in the car and its pretty fun being able to talk about different artists and alla that!

Haha thats true!! Wow violin? It seems so difficult, oh what happened? Oooh okay, yeah when I played piano it took awhile to learn all the notes perfectly. But honestly that doesn't really matter! My brother taught himself drums (he couldn't read music notes to save his life) but he is still really good! (Its probably different for drums and guitar/violin but >~> thought I would throw in my 2 cents) Good luck! I'm sure you will be able to learn them quickly :)

aHHH YES!!! I haven't watched Gintama in life a month so I forgot how good all the openings are! I have rewatched a ton of arcs but I have never just plopped my butt down and watched the whole show for a second time x)

OH! Well then in that sense you are completely right with it being blue. Idk as long as they don't fuck up the show I okay with it

Haha I was only joking! I will probably have some spouse later on, but for now all I think about it my cats :^). Uhhh kinda both LOL I have 2 cats, one is called zefer and the other is called pixel, pixel is pretty skittish but she loves getting pets and alla that. She just has to come up to you. But then zefer is ALWAYS at your ankles, my mom calls him the job boss because whenever people are doing something important he is always checking it out and getting in the way LOL. But he always snuggles with me and I love him so much *^*~
Do you have any pets?

Okay awesome :)

Wow thats awesome! What a great final :") Definitely! I feel like everytime I listen to jazz I feel something different. It always brings back memories like whenever I listen to Dave Brubeck I remember really getting into jazz on my way to a diner with my father. It so interesting to listen to jazz because there is always something going on!

Haha no I do not, thats a good idea though! Maybe when I learn to play the saxophone I will upload me playing? :) Haha ! I'm sure I would have said no because I was too busy playing with dinosaurs or toys x)! Do you know how to play any instruments now? Did you even hear him playing?

Gintama has great bg music! I love listening to the shows osts :) I would never skip the openings and endings haha one of my favorites was this one! this one is really fantastic as well!!! oh and this one was awesome too jesus after watching them again I forgot how awesome they really were!

You think so? One thing i've noticed is that because they have basically secured their spot on adult swim they can bump up the gore like 10 fold! I was laughing my ass off during pickle rick honestly LMAO ! tbh that has to be addressed sometime but I am enjoying the entire season so far

haha I wouldn't say so, I got my cats :-) I'm not sure, that would be great though! My brother has a band actually haha wanna hear one of their songs?

No problem, glad you liked em! Here is another one you might like
ridingwithstars Aug 20, 2017 11:22 PM
sure :) honestly I would say Jazz is my favorite music genre. I can play the piano but I desperately want to learn the saxophone! haha no but I can rap along to songs quite well :^) I know people like that aswell!

haha im in highschool, are you in college?

I don't but I have to get around to it! I love the Gintama series and I think it would be great to not have to wait for new episodes, and I was hoping that by reading the manga I would be able to find out more about Gin's past! I absolutely LOVE rick and morty! In fact I have the newest episode geared up and I'm planning on watching it before I go to sleep :o)

That sounds nice, a new place everyday just walking around and meeting great people along the way sounds so pleasant :)

Ideal life eh? If money was no problem.. I would love to have a quiet cozy house with 2 cats, it would be somewhere cold so I could rent it out as a bnb and stay in the parlor with a fireplace going and chat or playing music with my guests. With money being no problem I could get up and go anywhere, just enjoy life.
haha however I am perfectly happy with snoozing through the day like I am now :-) I am just a kid afterall I gotta lotta time!

Here are links to a few jazz songs I love :) :
song 1- almost blue is an incredible song
song 2
song 3
Another great thing is the Dave Brubeck quartet! this entire performance actually got me seriously into jazz full performance
ridingwithstars Aug 20, 2017 7:48 PM
yeah metal has some really good sub genres, like metalcore! besides that I really like jazz. when I'm trying to study or do some work I usually throw on some piano mix, that helps a lot

wdym?

ridingwithstars Aug 20, 2017 11:34 AM

Lmfaoooo. That dialogue had me dead.

Definitely look into engineering or computer science if your school doesn't have any cyber security courses at all as that is better than going into a completely different field. (Though, it is still possible to go into cyber security without either of those degrees since I do know someone who majored in Liberal Arts and is now in the cyber security field).

It isn't too difficult to practice though since really, all you need to practice & learn are the foundational concepts like how the internet works, some coding, how intruders attack systems, reverse engineering, etc. Most of the tools needed for that are free or open source!
maiko_june Aug 16, 2017 5:34 PM
hello! sorry, i have been out of town and did not have a computer and I can't stand typing up long messages on my phone.

Anyways, so happy to hear you went ahead and started reading Grain Brain! It has incredible information that is so detailed. it makes it difficult for one to summarize simply.
a big thing for me is trying to convince people to research and pay attention to the biochemistry behind food because it will lead to better weight results. people have such a dull idea when they think about going on a diet and I think that's why people struggle so much with it. They are fed lies, literally and mentally and it ruins those of us who try and tell them the truth and the science.
Keto is rather popular right now. I think keto is great for someone looking to lose a lot of weight and maybe gain more energy in the later stages. The science supports the results. I think that if you can handle around 5% carbs, then go for it. However, saying it and doing it are completely different due to the side effects of almost complete elimination of carbs.. it opens up a whole new way of eating for someone who eats 75% carbs in their normally diet haha. I think people should definitely cut back on carbs in general and eat more healthy fats.

That is my goal as well! Also to stick to my diet and get as much healthy energy from food as possible. I would def recommend cutting back milk then if it hurts your stomach :)

You bring up so many exciting topics!! Fasting and Limitless...I could talk about those for hours. I LOVE the idea of neuroscience and nutrition combined. I've seen the movie and tv series of Limitless. I actually did a lot of personal research on neutropics or cognitive enhancing pills. I was quite obsessed with the topic for awhile and experimented myself. It was about 2-3 yrs ago, I think I bought Piracetam. The supplements can get pricey (for a college student) so i only tested one bottle and I don't think it was enough to see any differences. with that, I also supplemented the precursors for seratonin and dopamine. I still think if done right, the brain can really be hacked more to it's full potential...
https://blog.bulletproof.com/13-nootropics-to-unlock-your-true-brain/ I always like reading Dave Asprey's info bc he's super into healthy fats and the brain. I also used to do the grass-fed unsalted butter in my coffee...I need to get back into it. I really loved it.
https://nootriment.com/ another website I've looked at regarding nootropics. Can't say i know for sure that all this information is true...it is the internet anyways.

so i def support and believe in intermittent fasting. I think it's really an amazing concept. I also have the Bulletproof Diet book by Dave Asprey that I love it. He supports intermittent fasting but incorporates his bulletproof coffee (black coffee and butter) in the morning before you begin eating. So i think his is eating between about 2pm-8pm. and it's also another way to touch on ketosis. https://blog.bulletproof.com/bulletproof-fasting/
Many people have articles about it, but I normally look at his or Dr. Axe's info. It's pretty cool idea, of using more healthy fats than carbs. I love it because people are appalled when you tell them to eat more fats haha.

Yes! I have heard the statistic about sugar being addictive, bc you have the crashes and need to recover from it by getting more. It's insane. Hm...i wouldn't recommend trying cocaine XD
No you are right, buying ingredients separately is more cost efficient than bottles. Something that I've been using a lot lately and is pretty cheap, is lentils! I put them in my curry with rice and vegetables. Or you can make other stuff. but they are great for protein if you don't want meat. However, I would recommend spending more money on grass-fed beef and organic chicken, and then making up for it by having vegetarian meals a few nights a week to save. I think there are great benefits to these meats rather than regular..

Hm...i've never thought about that before. I think maybe sodium honestly. It doesn't hurt my stomach as much as sugar! What about you?
I actually, I don't think i've heard of soylent before but I looked it up. I have a major problem with people discouraging fruits and vegetables and they do that on their main page...Substituting liquid protein shakes and whatnot are okay every once in awhile, but eating whole foods is important. A liquid diet isn't really realistic for a normal person. I also don't trust most soy-based products due to soy being a crop that is almost 100% GMO.
GMO's are kinda controversial.. I'm not a fan because I don't want to eat food thats been altered in a lab... I think food should be eaten in it's natural state. Not to mention the pesticides... GMO isn't something I've done too much indepth research on tbh. But organic is best because it has less pesticides than non. Again though, it's more expensive and people are unaware of the pesticides and the effects they have on your body. AKA poison lol. However, I'm not sure exactly how much evidence there is saying that GMO foods negatively effect the body. I will need to look into it. One of my public health professors mentioned something along the lines of nothing really saying they are dangerous. (except for pesticides).
I actually never consumed soy until this summer when I started eating edamame and soy paper wraps as alternatives to flour tortillas. I tend to avoid it otherwise.

I definitely recommend looking into probiotics. I'll typical take one every day, or specifically if I feel my stomach starting to hurt. If I take them consistently, I normally feel better.
