| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol quite an entertaining episode. I just love Zapp's chemistry with Leonardo. We also get the introduction of Blitz this episode as well. Action was intense as well. Kinda felt bad for Leo for overextending usage of his powers though as it has limits. But again, I think Zapp stole a good amount of action and screen time this week. Klaus is awesome as well. I also find it great that the show continuously explains about its population and the type of beings that live in it; something that imo is important to be aware of. |

| I freaking love the last song! Actually, I love every single OST played so far, I have to get my hand on the album as soon as it's out! Rie Kugimiya doing a cheeky female role and male role in a same series, this is bless. I really don't mind how the story of this series is all over the place since they do it such a tasteful way, the major downside for me is that they make it seems so interesting but probably won't go expand it further anytime soon, I'm talking about the boss that appear last episode and the vampire story this week. Why only 12 episodes? D: Oh and, I usually skip the OP and ED after I watched it once, but here am I watching over and over again Kekkai Sensen ED. :D |

| Best anime of the season? Best anime of the season. It just keeps being fun, really. Zapp's still my favorite character so far of course, though the others aren't bad either. Looking forward to the rest. Want to see that Fujiwara character already. |
| The pacing felt really fast in this episode but that kinda fits this series pretty well I think so I don't have a problem with it This Blitz guy really surprised me though...When I saw everyone looking like they were upset that this guy was coming and how they hyped him up for being a Blood Breeds specialist I thought he was going to be some strict asshole who's simultaneously a badass and boy was I horribly WRONG xD He had me dying of laughter this entire episode, because when they called him lucky only to see that the guy sneezed and a fucking plane crashed, he crossed teh street and there was a big ass accident and to top it all off the train they were almost got attacked by a fucking monster which then got hit by a fucking METEOR like what the actual fuck LMFAOOOO And poor Zapp just wanted to stay the fuck away from this guy lolololol The action was pretty intense in this episode as well with us getting displays from KK and the Ice dude but damn, I didn't expect them to get rekt from those vampires =o Good thing Klaus was there to save the day....I kinda hope that he won't be the only one to take care of the big bads and that everyone else will get a chance to be the badass of the episode (I really liked how he sealed that female vampire tho) Overall it was a great episode, and I really like this twist about the Blood 13 and these tons of Blood Breeds that Leo is scared of (Man when his eyes cracked and started to bleed looked painful) and with this episode, it seems as if our anime original ghost might be one of them too.... |
| At first, I though Leo spotted a Ghoul, rather than a Vampire. Those crimson aura reminded of Touka's Ukaku. Abrams' curse affecting his surroundings while he stayed unscathed was pretty funny, particularly Zapp's blood spillage from his forehead. XD Elder 13 must be one formidable group if laying eyes on caused damage to Leo, who possesses the "All-seeing Eyes of the Gods." Looks like there are actually far more than 13 of them! :O K.K. and Steven couldn't really do much against the Vampire duo. Loved how Klaus came to their rescue though. This dude is badass as hell! That megane guy from the beginning seems to be a hotshot, calling himself the "King of Despair." Wonder what's his connection to the ghost girl. Good episode. Next week's PV looks hilarious! Looking forward to more of Zapp and Leo screentime! |

| Abrams is hilarious, not often do you get such a grand entrance even for the tier he is in. Really made Zapp shine with Abrams's curse making "miracles" happen. The vampire and the Elder thing. To take that many agents and with more bad news coming. The fights were great, a group of strong enemies makes things really interesting. |

| I've been kinda lukewarm about Kekkai Sensen, but I did like this episode quite a bit. It was fast-paced, but beautiful as usual and it now seems intent on establishing a more overarching plotline (unless the previous two episodes are foreshadowing to a larger plot that I cannot see). My main complaint with the show is that it dumps a shitton of exposition on me that almost entirely resolves itself within one episode. There was less exposition on Leo's eyes or Libra or Hellsalem's lot, important stuff, than there was on the disconnected plotlines of episode 2 and 3, which turned me off quite a bit. This episode did not do that, which gave it a lot of points in my book. (Another minor complaint is the kind of dumb naming, but that's not unique to this anime, so I'm letting that slide.) I still am not buying into the hype of this being one of the best, if not the best anime of the season, but it's getting much better, and as long as it doesn't have near-suffocating exposition every episode, it certainly can reach that status. Also, we need more Rie Kugimiya. |

| The more of the OST we hear, the better it gets. Seriously, that last song and the whole scene it played in was really something. It's the little things that Kekkai Sesen excels at in order to build character and setting and I appreciate the amount of attention to detail Nightow and Matsumoto have put into this series so far. I'm no longer worried about what direction the anime will take story wise, as long as the characters, directing and tone of the series remain similar enough throughout, I'm confident that I'll be able to just sit back and enjoy the remaining episodes no matter what. |

| The action in this show is terrible. I'm not against an entire episode dedicated to establishing the characters' fighting prowess as a team with a throwaway episodic plot, even though it should have happened an episode or three ago, but only if the fight is visually exciting to watch. Unfortunately, other than the style and a "very" simplistic strategy, it had nothing going for it. There's no back-and-forth, the choreography is minimal, those stupid "Jojo-ish" letters just take me out of the experience, and it keeps cutting away from the action "juuuuuust" as it's about to get interesting. Since the non-action scenes consisted of mostly dialogue-heavy setup with only the beginning and ending scenes actually being relevant to the overall story whilst the rest was dedicated to world-building and setting up a lame climax, I don't think I need to spell out my opinion of this week's BBB. Edit: By the way, what does Chain do exactly? She's supposed to be a werewolf and yet I haven't seen her do jack but jump around and be off-screen when the shit hits the fan. |

IIRC that was explained in one of the very first chapters of the manga (the ones that have been scanslated), though wasn't mentioned in the anime. Chain was established for gathering intelligence and the like from what I remember, so she wouldn't really be involved in actual combat. |

| Normally this kind of fast pacing turns me off, but the animation and characters are just too good and I'm eager to see more of this world. Abram's introduction had me laughing out loud, I hope we get to see more of him, and Zapp's reactions to his "luck". |

| It was enjoyable to watch I guess... Would've liked some more screen time during the fights. Basically Steven and K.K take out fodder but then cut to them getting ROFL-stomped by Vampires :S |

| I feel as if all the blonde people that aren't in Libra are potentially evil/bad. 5/5 episode anyway, all of them but episode 3 have been 9-10/10 material. Next episode will seem fun. |

| I liked the luck powers, but overall I found this episode rather bland and uninteresting. Vampires are overused - I would have preferred if they had done this story with anything in their place. |

| It seems like the anime is finally getting on track with a plot. At least I think so since this introduced those crazy strong vampires and hinted at many more to come this episode. That luck guy was pretty hilarious with all those things happening around him. Klaus is definitely my favorite character so far with how badass he is. I especially loved it when he just caught that iron bar that was about to fall on him and threw it aside XD. I still have very little comprehension as to what's going, but I really like this show so far. |

| Oh my god I have never seen an anime like this one before The new characters, the eccentric world building, and the lack of, or the subtle presence of a plot. Such combination only made it an unbelievably stylish and unique anime. Loving Zapp more and more lol, that bit about meteor cracked me up so hard. |

| Holy shit, that was awesome Episode. As someone mentioned above, 12 episode is not enough for succeeding this series to be a great series. The info dump we get is not enough to make the watcher of this series understands what's is really going on. I heard this anime will have an original ending which is different than the manga, I hope it will be good. Libra is such a fun and well maintained organization. It seems like they love throwing any party here and there and makes much sense on the ED itself. When they knew they are going to deal with Vampire along with someone they don't want to get involve with, their face becoming upset. I thought they are going to have some strict asshole who's simultaneously a badass, and Damn i was wrongg loool XD He had me dying of laughter this entire episode, that guy sneezed and a fucking plane crashed looool, And poor Zapp just wanted to stay the fuck away from this guy like a serious fuck lool. The action was pretty intense and the animation was a top notch as well as I love how Klaus rekted them into a nutshells. But seeing K.K. And Steven getting beaten like that makes me wonder how strong Blood 13 is. |

| Loving the show a lot so far, I just wish they would spend more time going into detail opposed to tying up loose ends by the end of it. 4.5/5 episode, you can round it up to 5/5. More Sumeragi, when? |
