| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol so Akashi can be nice after all. Well, it's an episode focused more on background flashbacks so...that's how he was. I really wonder how long this arc will be though but pacing seems steady so far. Seems like we are getting most of the focus here which doesn't surprise me since he is the captain of the team and the present Rakuzen. |

| Anticipated basketball life shattered quickly when Kuroko was in 3rd at first. Those miracle members were the 1st team. So he practiced a lot, but he got worse to the extend that he had to get off the team. He found a book about misdirection after what HiroC's character suggested him. Using that, he is successful in entering in 1st team. He was nervous and not used to using the skill during first game being the first. That captain then (#4) is wow. HiroC's character helped him by saying being emotionless and counting the timing is helpful. Kimura-san's character officially joins next? | Nijimura's VA doesn't fit him at all. I'd like to see him with Yuichi Nakamura's voice as I feel it would fit him better. But well it seems that Fujimaki is a Bleach fanboy. |

It is understandable if they're going to finish the series in this season that they are speeding up this, but I think this could be a little bit slower (to get all the feels fit nicely). | Loved it, Daiki when he had his love for basketball is even more awesome than he is normally. Love the fact that Kuroko finding his style was essentially a plan of Akashi's lol. Wondering how that will affect things when Seirin finally play Rakuzan. |

| Wonderful start to the Teiko arc! So this episode basically focused on Kuroko developing his style of Misdirection and assisting. Young Aomine and Akashi are so fun. xD Kise gets in on the fun next episode too. ^^ Also, the new opening is quite catchy. I like the first more, but this one is pretty rad too. |

| Akashi is pretty cute now, can't see why he becomes so psychopatic later :( Same thing with Aomine, I'm not that fond of his older self, but back in the junior high he was just awww. But what the hell, is Japan really this strict with school sport teams in junior high? Damn, this teacher being such a jerk 'you can never play in the team' towards what, 13 years old boy? That's terrible, ruining kid's dreams because it's such a serious business. I can't even imagine that irl, lolz. Anyway, at least it ended up well for Kuroko, now I really wonder what is so sad in this backstory that everyone keeps talking about. |

| The Chibi GoM are so kawaii lol. Really wanted to see the Teiko arc animated and I'm super hyped that it's finally here. I love the new Teiko based OP and ED too Really liked seeing Kuroko and Aomine's friendship flourish as well as Midorima and Akashi. And I bet that most anime only's never guessed that it was Akashi that taught Kuroko to use his misdirection =P Looking forward to the next episode where my boy Kise will join the fray :DDD Seeing Teiko stomp the competition is so fun to see lol |

| This Kuroko is so much more likeable in contrast to what we've seen. It's amazing what happens when some emotion is added to a character. This feels like an episode of Kuroko's Basketball instead of what's generally been Kagami's Basketball from day one. |

Poor kid. But with Akashi's push, he found a way to be useful to the team. So funny though when Kuroko was talking to Aomine, and silly Aomine suggests passes that bends. Whoosh! XD Watched that part like three times. Aomine's faith in Kuroko is really heartwarming too, when he said he would demote himself if they don't at least give Kuroko one more try. It's been awhile since I was this excited about a KnB episode, but the start of Teikou Arc delivered, and I'm going to happily watch it again. The ED too was really nice, I think the first ED that's ever had this slower and somewhat sad feeling type of song. Very fitting for the arc. |
