| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- YAY! THIS OVA IS FINALLY OUT! My day ended in the perfect way. :3 The most hilarious scene for me turns out to be how Asahi plays game. LOL And at the end, I was really expecting Noya-san to save it, like a real libero, poor Tanaka. X) I'm sad that Tsukki and Yamaguchi didn't appear for long. It was nice to see Lev's backstory. But his seiyuu, I don't know why I'm having so much trouble to get used to his voice with Lev's face... The cat scene was very fun and cute to watch. Kenma is adorable. | YUSSSSSSSS just watched it, it was waaaaaaaaaay better than I thought. Lev was perfect, his seiyuu is a bit on the high pitched side (hah Chrono) but otherwise all good. I love the Monhun games and how they were portrayed, especially how the playstyles reflected the personalities. ALSO THAT LAST PART WHERE THEY DROPPED THE PSP, that was exact same expression and animation as episode 24 when they lost to Johsai, that actually made me laugh more than it should. | I could not help but be extremely amused by their video game fighting styles. Karasuno dorks <3 And Daichi and Ukai getting so angry XDDDD It was really great to see Nekoma and their team dynamics! And the music - how I have missed Haikyuu!! awesome OST! |
| Lev is so cute! I think I like him even more now! I think my faovirte part was when Daichi and Asahi were playing the game hehehe. I can't wait for season 2 now. |
| Really cute OVA, nice surprise to see the Karasuno boys too but the ending oh god, they're all such big dorks :) I didn't really follow everything, my Japanese is really bad but it was enjoyable to see more of Nekoma, I love Kenma and Kuroo and Lev seems like an interesting character. |
| I watched without subtitle, but I got the funny of this. The best screen: when the P*P (PDP or what? I forget) dropped and I see the familiar screen, I laughed at the last HAHA |

| KajiKaji's character is assigned to work with half-Russian character, and he needs to "solve" him and the video game that appears in the whole ep. Even the main school (as they are featured a bit) is playing the video games. The cat on the tree helped him (as well as Nakamura-san's character's hint) in solving how to cooperate with him. ED: "Ishi wo Tsukamaete (石をつかまえて)" by Huwie Ishizaki (石崎ひゅーい) lol @ the end. |

| I laughed so hard at Asahi LMAO HE WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS AHAHAHAHAH I kept replaying his screaming to death part XD Kenma's WTF-IM-SO-DONE face gives me life. The saving the cat part was so cute. The last part, they had the same reaction as they did in ep 24 against Oikawa lmao so painful... |

| Showing a lot of Nekoma, Lev getting along with Kenma! Kenma's motivation xD Never thought seeing Karasuno playing a video game would be so enjoyable. Nishiya completely receiving all the attacks and Asahi running away with him screaming was gold. So much personality while playing! Figuring out the right toss for Lev with it being really high, Lev is quite interesting since is physique is quite the opposite of Hinata. |

| Somehow, I felt like Lev's VA didn't quite match his character. I guess it'll take a while to get used to his voice. All Karasuno members trying hard to clear the game was hilarious! Noya sounded so cool about taking revenge for Tanaka, but failed all the same. XD Sasuga Kuroo, noticing the smallest details in the game which no one did. That alone says a lot about his character. Rescuing the cat scene was pretty nice! Them nosebleeds though.. I think Kenma and Lev are in sync in many ways. :3 Decent OVA episode. R.I.P. PDP. Tanaka is in for a mouthful from his sister. XD |

And Lev is pretty eccentric. They didn't get it down perfectly, but they at least made some progress. Karasuno playing the game was just lol. I play in a mix between Asahi and Hinata x) Also, can't get enough of IshiKai's voice acting as Kageyama, he's just too amazing. |

| This was definitely better than I expected since it wasn't set around the main cast. Lev's character turned out to be the opposite of who I thought he'd be. His eyes look so mean haha. He has a ton of potential with his height and length, and will be force for that team later on. I also forgot how awesome those intense moments are this series. Remembered the feeling again when Lev finally got a clean spike. Really looking forward to the next season :D |
| 9/10 Perfect blend of comedy, slice of life, character introduction and developing and hyped sports feeling. I love you, Haikyuu!. So excited for October now. I literally like all the characters in this show, holy shit. |

| How come an OVA is released in such a low video quality? It was such a drop from the amazingly animated first season, I just couldn't focus. Not to mention that the whole episode felt like an advertisement for that crappy game, and almost everyone acted out of character. Maybe it's an introduction to the second season, but it felt entirely skippable. |

| Asahi playing that game was hands down the funniest part of the ova. Bless him. He's basically Jesus. A very scared and jumpy Jesus. Lev is a pretty interesting dude, and I hope we get to see more of him in S2. Also, I never realised how shady Kuroo looks when he smiles. Like, he looks like he pimps out women on the weekend or something. That kind of shady. |
