| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mostly flashbacks with the Hyuga clan this episode...with Hanabi and Hinata being main focus. I find it cute but a bit boring to watch. A younger Naruto is also shown in this series although he is ostrachized by the villagers because of what's inside of him. Yikes. Anyways, yeah. And that cursed seal looks painful as hell. |

| Dat nostalgia. Given reminders again about how Naruto was treated early in the series. Hanabi watching Hinata.. Hinata not being able to be the successor of the Hyuugas and to protect them too :( Dat cursed seal. Shit that looks bloody painful. Neji :( After watching this episode, being reminded about destiny.. I'm guessing that means Neji vs Naruto is going to be shown next episode. Should open Hanabi's eyes. Looking forward to seeing that again :D Was a good match. On to episode 390 now. |

| "That man" Does Hanabi not know who her cousin is? Thank you Naruto for reminding me that Hinata's dad was/is an ass. Implanting those suckish ideals of "destiny" in not only Neji but Hanabi too :( Hanabi was adorable though. I noticed the problem with Hinata in this episode was not "She's a failure because she was weak" but "She fails because she's too nice" I saw she had the chance to win in her fight with Hanabi but chose not take it ._. |

| Not flashbacks if we hadn't seen it. Anyways mostly a backstory. To a character we hadn't even had much of. She was interesting though. It's nice to see the main characters from a different POV. It's always good when its a filler about characters you like. So it was interesting to watch for me. So let's see what "Hanabi's decision" is. |

| Always enjoyable to see Hinata getting wrecked and Neji losing control was pretty good. Best member of K11 just had to die... Little Hanabi was too adorable. Overall, it wasn't really that bad a filler episode. 3.5/5 |

Seeing straightlaced characters act atypically is always funny to me. I like Hinata, this ep was cool. I'd watch more like it for other teams. I too was under the impression that Hanabi hated, or was at least indifferent to Hinata |

| Got flashbacks from the Hyuga clan. Specifically Hinata and Hanabi. Well, that's why Hinata didn't get qualified to be the next head of the Hyuga clan. |
| You know it's funny how this filler episode is better animated than the canon episodes. Well it's a nice filler.. the Hyugas need more spotlight seeing how Byakugan seems to be more closely related to Rinnegan compared with Sharingan |

| Ahh this episode reminded me off how Naruto used to get treated and why I hated how the Hyūga Clan seperated main family and side family and used that seal to keep them in control, poor Neji... Also Hanabi is really cute. |
