----------------------------------------
Just realized maybe this show is more like xxxHolic? Either way, good episode although I'm beginning to believe Mushi are harmful in all situations, but I guess I'll see as the show continues.

To me this is the best episode so far. I'm glad to know it's not always going to be happy endings for everyone (I prefer a little ambiguity and uncertainty in a story).

This episode wasn't as relaxing as the past 3 ._.

So.... there really wasn't a cure for those kinds of Mushi?

And that part about the sword... that was sad how he ended up turning it to himself.... this show is really deep T_T

Sig WILL change soon~

Sad indeed.
But finally he said it. Mushis are neither bad, nor good creatures. They're just living their lives.

Hmm... it was... tragic. No one's at fault, no one to blame. Wasted lives, wasted lives.

At my last attempt to hope for something better in this episode, perhaps someday the guy's last dream about meeting his family again comes true. After the days he lived fearing sleep... Ah, made me sad indeed.

But why would you guys like the statement that your soul resides in your pillow? It was a fine statement, something you don't hear often, but it isn't exactly something that clicked a vibe with me. True, our heart/soul stays with our treasure, but... I mean, there are a lot of precious things in our personal little world...

The ending was a little depressing, but frankly I could see it ending like that after what the man had gone through. To know that the things that happened in those prophetic dreams were in reality caused by Mushi directed by his own subconscious. There weren't really too many moments of wonder and beauty in this episode like some of the prior. It felt somber from beginning to end, with his death just punctuating the over all malaise of this story. Regardless, I think this is my favorite episode so far.

So far the best ep. When he dreamed about his family, I was a bit teary there.

And in the end, he just turned the sword to himself. So sad indeed.

The pillow idea is just brilliant. And another fact that was told by Ginko is that Mushis

are neither bad nor good.

It's official: I love this show. This episode was amazing and sad at the same time, I loved the way that the pillow was the doorway to his dreams and how not dreaming afterwards drove him insane.

Just brilliant. The change to a gloomy atmosphere and a dark, fateful outcome in this episode were flawless.

The man’s desolate life because of his prophetic dreams, that weren’t prophecies, in fact, but the embodiment of those same visions in the reality, I couldn’t be more immersed on his story. My heart ached when he saw his family again and cried, because they were dead; it wasn’t his fault, it wasn’t anyone’s fault, but regardless of that the damage was done, nothing would change.
… So he turned his sword to himself, to end his own misery, ending his life.

I loved how tragic and melancholic it was, almost to the point of making me cry.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

At the beginning of the episode, I thought the title sounded a little silly... By the end, I felt bad for even thinking that because it was such a good episode! Really sad, but great nevertheless.

It's kind of weird to be reminded that we're asleep for one third of our lives (unless sleep deprived). I couldn't help thinking, when Ginko said pillows cradle our heads for a portion of our lives, that the guy should've bought a new pillow, then... Of course, in what looks like feudal Japan, pillows may well have been expensive... I don't know. x_x

That is true for all of nature, except humans.

Poor guy. Glad he didn't die. Just realized my bed, pillow and blankets stay with me 1/3 of my life...

Yeah, I thought he could've gotten a new pillow too...
What era is this? If it's feudal Japan, Ginko is too modern...

This episode was so sad.. I was hoping so bad that the guy would have a dream where his family and the rest of the villagers would come back to life. That would've been nice, but I guess too impossible.

I also thought thing with the pillow being the where the soul rests and the link between dream and reality was really creative. This show's got some crazy imagination.
