The MAL forums are a bit rubbish, ain't they? Although there were once people worth chatting to - as my old thread highlights - the anime section in particular is now full of idiots that struggle to even express themselves. I made a few threads recently but have now lost all interest in posting.
Nope, not just yet. I'm currently going through yet another of my 'no anime' stages after recently watching a ton of movies/OVA, but I'm still into it. A break is good every now and then.
Ooooo, I see - Berserk. Did you need to sit in silence after the final episode or two; feeling a combination of depression, awe and disgust? I know I did. Very little has had an impact on me like the Berserk ending did. How often do you see pretty much an entire cast of 'good' characters killed off, and the female lead being raped? All those 'happy ever after' endings you get used to seeing make it shocking to sit through.
...So, anyway, when not building 'friendships' with sheep, have you watched much else of interest of late?
No, you’re actually still being nice. I just spitted a lot of words to people who haven’t even watched the series. Yours was concise but deep. You said with few words what I couldn’t with a thousand.
I’ve just seen your Texhnolyze’s review and I must say it is really good, probably the ultimate one. I felt ashamed when I saw that my crappy one was right next to yours.
I just watched Toki wo kakeru shoujo after seeing it on your profile and awh it's so sweet! The ending was quite sad =( There were so many times i felt myself getting upset but as soon as Makoto cried i just couldn't help but laugh! Her cry is so obnoxious!! Good to see you enjoyed it too! And thanks for the add! ^ ^

I'm re-reading it now and, since you're still around and we were in near enough total agreement back then, I thought I'd send a message you way.
I see we still have a 70% compatibility, though our tastes have differed a little more since back then.
