| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yet another decent episode. I think the show communicates its message well with its volleyball theme. And with our main character, I feel like he's on a journey to stardom. Still, I like their coach so far :p. The way he tries to motivate his students..is well, quite something lol. Tobio was pretty funny to watch this episode. He needs to relax a bit but yeah, looking forward to what's to come next. | This episode was super funny and had an amazing animation and all, but i absolutely can't get past the way they sexualised Kiyoko's entrance. Not only she wasn't supposed to appear yet (you can check the 3rd chapter of the manga), but those fanservice shots are completely absent in the manga. | Oh my goodness, this episode was really funny. The dean actually wears a wig, but the way it was revealed was HILARIOUS OMG. xD You can really tell Sawamura Daichi is really passionate about volleyball and is determined to bring the team to victory. He just needs Tobio and Shouyou to get along. xD Haha, I laughed so hard when Tanaka fangasm'd when Kiyoko appeared and the other dude had a funny face. :P Kiyoko does look pretty though. :3 Really liking the other characters of the volleyball team. Gah, I can't wait for more Haikyuu episodes! 5/5 |

| Oh, so he failed the school he was aiming. Those three who watched the game are their sempai. As expected, they argued. Hino-san's character is scary when angry and got both of them out. Why didn't I realize from first ep. that the gray hair guy with the captain is voiced by Miyu-Miyu (Just recognized his voice in this ep.)?! He looks like a nice guy. The teammate (looked yakuza at first) for the entrance tournament is being nice to them because the captain is looking good at the two's combination. |

| That wig! xD That captain's real personality, I saw it coming xD One of the best looking glasses girl (ever) is here! Hinata is a very likable MC, one of the rare ones imo. Tobio is great too, he has a reason to be his arrogant self plus his arrogance isn't everything to his character. I am loving the rivalry xD It's so refreshing... 10/10 for this episode. |

| The captain really has a way with words and Kiyoko is really cute. Hinata and Kageyama have to work together with their senpai to win a game against other 1st years and members. I think it's going to be pretty hard for them to learn to work together as a team but they'll probably have to in order to win. Overall decent episode and I hope the next one will be better. |

| I'm really satisfied with the adaption so far. This ep. was so funny. Dat wig XD I like it how they added Kiyoko's appearance. LOL at Suga's derp face and Hinata blushing XD It's also nice that they use different break/return cuts. First ep. was Hinata, now it's Kageyama. Can't wait for more. |

| Ohhh, I liked their choice of animation for those "impact" scenes in the manga. (The one with Kagayama throwing the ball was less good than the manga imo though) Senpai are cool as always!! Sugawara made so many weird faces XD I so fkin like him!! Yes, tsukki next episode! |

| Loved it a lot :D Tobio and Hinata getting along was obviously gonna be tough and damn is it hilarious too XD Dat ART when Tobio was serving!! O_O XD Lol'd so much at the principle's wig part XD The Senpai's are BA as usual in these kind of anime. Daichi's Blank Dark face is so much lololol XD Sends creeps into the spine XD And how he just kicked them out was hilarious XD Tanaka is awesome too. Loved how he was telling them that they can come earlier to practice indirectly like that ^^ Sugawara's faces were also so lol XD Loving the animation in this adaption so far :D He's also totally M for Kiyoko. And that girl is friggin HOT *A* In the manga she's pretty but u don't see the beauty as much as they're describing it but in the anime they depicted her beauty pretty damn well <3 Kageyama going fanboy mode over Setters was nice to see hehe XD Well can't wait for the practice match. It was awesome in the manga so should be epic animated :D And Can't wait for Tobio and Hinata to start getting along :) |

| Now this was a funny episode! (I lol'd more than I should have) But no actual playing *sight* I would appreciate it more than the fanservice. I want to play some volleyball. It's funny how sports anime always make me want to go outside and... sport. |
| Tanaka was acting like a gangster :), but he was pretty nice. The captain is a great captain, he can really handle the two. Hinata and Kageyama as a duo should be more than just exciting to watch! Great episode btw. |

| Great episode again. I can't wait to see the next episode and I'm looking forward to the match. I only had one small gripe about the nickname of Karasuno High, maybe it was just the subbing group that I watched it from, but in the manga they were referred to "Fallen Champions, the Flightless Crows" but in anime the subbers wrote "Fallen Rivals, Unflying Crows" which doesn't have the same impact as what they were referred to in the manga. Changing Champions to Rivals and Flightless to Unflying (unflying isn't even a word) makes the loss Karasuno experienced feel a bit weak. |

| Love it!!!! Such a funny and nice episode. dat wig! hahahah xD I absolutely love the animation. It's so beautifully clear and fluid. The OSTs are nice as well. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite animes. I love every single thing about it thus far! One episode per week is truly not enough! The thirst is real! |
