| The hype levels for the showdown between Takasugi and Gintoki are reaching outer space at this point. Amazingly done and animated arc so far, but I'm getting a bad feeling that this season will end with the end of this arc... I really hope not though. |

| Wow what an amazing episode! I feel sorry for Shogun's double. Can't believe he survived all this years only to be beheaded like that. Lol Momochi-san is a weapon and a maid??! Zanzo may look like he doesn't care, but he's willing to do everything he can just for Shigeshige. Can't wait for the next episode!!! I want to see Shinsuke vs Gintoki!!! |

| This episode was good, but the preview made me expect a little more... On another note it's a little sad how the replacement shogun sacrificed his life, yet it was quickly discovered that the real shogun is still alive ;c |

| Hattori deserves a lot of respect, he is such a badass. I loved that even the Shogun had a great backstory. When I saw the end of the previous episode, I was wondering how it will be explained, but they perfectly answered to my questions. Gintama is such an awesome anime, they still succeed to make funny jokes in an epic arc like this one, and almost make you cry with a beautiful story. Perfect as always. This OST is incredible :O |

| I loved the episode and the development of Shochan, Sacchan, Zenzo and Okita. But the episode had one flaw that's really annoying me. Namely: why the hell are they allowing Shigeshige to roam around freely? What a waste of sacrifices! He should have been confined in a room for the time being. |

| What a great revelation, Sarutobi finally being badass ... loving it! Poor double of the shogun though, on the other hand he managed to live a good life instead of dying as a kid, he also knew what his role was :/ |

| It just keeps on getting better, those backstory were really interesting, and the randomness humor. Zenzo is such a badass in this episode, fight skills and those plan. Sacchan to the rescue, finally her time to shine in a seriouc arc! |

| Can I get an F for Kagemaru. Dude was a real one to sacrifice his body, and it must’ve pained Hattori to have to kill him. Man I know someone has to die in this because not everyone can be left alive in such a bloody arc and I’m scared to find out who has to die. |

| Man, the arc is getting better and better. Hattori really pulled a plot twist, it was Kagemura who died for the Shogun.. What a friend. The backstory hits hard too.. Seems like the big fight will come soon. The yato appeared at the ninja village and Shinsuke is there too. Hopefully he doesnt find Gin.. |

| Another amazing episode. I'll be honest once they revealed his past, I was fully expecting Zenzo to die. We finally get to see serious sacchan though Also the shogun is a really nice person. I hope he makes it through this arc |
