| Okita and Kamui's fight was very nicely animated. I personally really liked the lighting in this episode, too. (Suppose that's where all the budget went, and where the rest's going, pff) |

| The Shogun beheading scene was great and all with that Zenzo flashback. Lol at Hijikata being irrirtated from Gintoki. Kamui vs. Sougo was way better than I expecter. Animation and action directions were great (even if it was a short scene). Also, SHOGUN KA-YO! Zenzo is a troll, confirmed. They adapted 3 chapters in this episode, and the pacing was still great. I was hoping the'll leave the Shogun reveal for the next episode because killing him in one episode than revealing him in the end feels to sudden for anime viewers. 5/5 |

| SHOGUUUUNNNNNNN KAYYOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Awesome friggin ep. The end was amazing! But like the preview said. Who did Zenzou kill then?? That really did seem like the real Shigeshige. And does Zenzou know? I'm pretty sure he does...I think ^^; The biggest highlight of the ep was ofc Kamui vs Sogo. That was so friggin epic!! I knew Sogo is a friggin beast but to be on par with Kamui?! HOLY SHIT! The fight was amazing and brutal. The way Sogo cut the bullet aimed at Soyohime at the start was BA AF! Loved all the crazy faces they both made. I was actually trolled a bit. I really thought Sogo lost a hand for a second there since I heard there will be irreversible shit in this arc. I wonder what Sogo would think if he knew he's Kagura's brother lol The Takasugi scenes were awesome! And the way the Yato REKT the Iga clan. DAMN! XD I wonder why the Mummy looking one is with the Shogun tho ^^;? Some nice individual scenes were Gin stabbing the store lady/Ninja. BA! And Kamui parodying goku XD And Kagura's "TOSHIIIIII" was so cute and hilarious XD |

| Lmao at Kagura's face when that guy lost his leg. The fighting was good, but it kinda feels like anime was based more towards Okita, I don't remember Kamui being that much injured in the manga, aside from 2 stabs, Okita didn't land any other hits on him. And yeah they did 3 chapters this week, page for page, nothing was left out, pretty good so far. |

| I was shocked when that gorilla looking ninja guy was about to step on Kagura's head but she was saved by Hijikata :D Shinsengumi is so fucking boss and sh-sh-SHOGUN KAYO?!!?!?!? | That was bloody perfect. I have no words. Even the animation was quite good for most of the episode. At least it was good at the fight it mattered xD Sogo is a BEST. Loved the fight. The way he cut the bullet. So GAR. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| The line that had been used jokingly over the years suddenly became super-crazy-awesome when it was used in the end. I feel like i'd been riing an adrenaline rush throughout the whole episode. Okita vs Kamui was freaking awesome. I want a rematch!!!! God! This arc feels so much fast, than any previous arc. Though it may be because this is the first long arc that i'm seeing from the first with a week gap in between every ep. Keep em COMING! |

| My God, what an episode! Best episode of the year. Zenzou's eyes are just... wow, so lifeless. Love it. Takasugi dressed as a ninja is the best OOC outfit in the series. The way Kamui's VA delivered the line "The eyes of a killer." was orgasmic. I never thought that we'd ever get a serious "SHOGUN KA YO?!?!?!" So freakin epic. That preview though.... |

| I will leave the critiquing of the pacing, art, animation, music etc. to the experts of anime and manga here in MAL. But I'll say this: the episode is better than the last one. I liked they used the signature ost's of the other serious arcs(eg.Rules are meant to be Broken OST). BUT THAT SOUGO VS KAMUI MATCH-UP GOT ME HYPED-UP! :D :enthusiastic: I did felt their fight is sobrang bitin; way too damn short. I thought it can extend 2-5 minutes more... Yes I know fights in Gintama doesn't last that long, but... oh well *shrugs* And that last line of Gaimon... It never gets old SHOGUN KAAAAAYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! XD XD |

| As I thought, 3 chapters would be adapted but it didn't feel rushed at all. This episode was more intense than I thought it would be! Maaan, I was standing while watching Sogo vs Kamui! Their tactics are epicly animated! And Kagura going TOSHII! And the shogun! And the preview! And the hype! AAAAA!!! |

| Still dislike some dialogue in this episode .. too stilted. Too bullshitish, i had to say. But still enjoyable. Extremly epic animation. Still hate how they cut the part where takasugi eyes almost get stabbed by that sho-chan duplicate. Still a long way to this arc climax. |
