| Not exactly where this should go but there's a proposal I'd like to make about Kinnikuman's publishing status. I've discussed it previously with mods on why it is listed as publishing, the reasoning is that it was restarted under the same title in 2011 even though it ended in 1987. The volume count picked up from the original 36 and continued publishing from that number. However, the chapter count was reset and there are many examples of the reader needing prior knowledge of the sequel series Nisei as characters from it appear in certain chapters. If a person were reading solely from the original there would be quite a bit of confusion. Couldn't the newer volumes be listed as Kinnikuman (2011? JoJo's Bizarre Adventure all published under the same consecutive volume numbers up until Part 7, yet these are listed as their own. I'd at least like a further denial reason than just a wikipedia article this time. |
