Hotarubi no Mori e and Death Parade are the only anime I can remember making me cry. I pretty much cried the whole way through Death Parade and I have no clue why it made me that emotional.

Air the Motion Picture and Chrono Crusade's ending were the absolute worst for me.

It took me a long time to get over those two. I really don't want to watch the last fifteen minutes of BOTH ever again. It's too freaking painful.

None. I've never cried for an anime or a movie.
Even Gintama couldn't make me cry.

Madoka Magica had me in tears for the entirety of the last episode and a bit after it. Also Yuri!! On Ice (a bit stupid to cry on that, right?). And of course certain scenes in most anime I've watched.

I was close while watching Your Lie in April but I held back. While watching Koe no Katachi this past weekend though, it really caught me off guard. I read the synopsis but I had no idea what hit me. The first half an hour of the movie was really difficult to pull through as it was so emotional and depressing.

Oh god, definitely Hunter x Hunter (2011)...that shiz got real sad, especially near the end.

Surprisingly, Gintama made me cry buckets as well- there are some life lessons to live by weaved into all that satire!

One Piece period. In the span of +700 episodes, I've cried like a baby multiple times and all of them are very emotional and unforgettable moments for me.
The most recent one is the end of Law's past, you know which one. Law's backstory in general is pretty sad but the last moment is simply heart breaking.

Gintama. Yes it's a comedy anime but when things got serious, don't question it's ability to get fullblown emotional. I cried in every emotional part of Gintama which is not just once or twice, but plenty.

Angel Beats. Only the Yui part.

Anohana. The ending.

Shingeki no Kyojin. Episode 21-22. The first episode also got me teary eyed and aching throat.

Boku no Hero Academia. Couple first episodes. This was very unexpected but true.

And many others.

Note: I'm a sensitive and emotional girl with a fragile heart!

Don't forget the large populace of male gamers (particularly MMOs)

Now since I also fall under this, Oreimo S2 made me cry. It made me cry over how brilliant the show was and how annoyed some people got over the end. Those were tears of joy.

I'm not really into tear jerking anime or drama in general.. However Death Notes ending fucked me up pretty good. It was the first and last time I cried for hours over an anime, I just couldn't deal with Lights final moments. It was just so sad, I really wanted him to win :c

Sousuke's story from Free! Eternal Summer is the second one that comes to mind. It wasn't even that sad but tears were streaming down my face during my second time watching. Please let the poor boy swim ;-;

I watched Angel Beats and most of what's dubbed of Keroro Gunsou at the same age.

Angel Beats couldn't get me. I tried to force myself to cry, but it didn't happen. Worried I was heartless.

An episode of Keroro Gunsou (where I knew the sad stuff was a fake-out!) got me. I've cried both times I've watched it.

Not really, I've never cried but I have been left devastated in some moments in anime that left me quite depressed like the ending of Assassination Classroom's second season, Deku's flash back in MHA, Android 16 getting destroyed by Cell and the end of the Death Battle between Goku and Superman

I think the only anime that got me really emotional was a film called Barefoot Gen (World War II Film centered around a family's survival during the bombing of Hiroshima - very graphic). There is a scene involving the loss of a young family member that was really emotional to watch.

Yes I shed tears while watching an anime, but I'm pretty sure it was the work of onion ninjas and not due to the fact that I have feelings.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

At the beginning of my anime career, I cried over like every slightly sad moment, but recently, as I've been watching more sad anime, I feel kind of desensitized to a lot of it. I looked at a top 10 saddest anime, and watched Plastic Memories from the list, but it just felt super anti-climactic, same goes with a lot of other anime that supposed to be sad.

I know this is rather stupid to most people... but I cried in the second arc of season 2 of Sword Art Online when
I immediately thought about my best friend and how I genuinely wish that I could bring her to school with me, despite the fact that we live in different continents.

Then there was Hoshi no Koe. An anime that made me cry despite the absolutely crap animation. Once again, I thought about my best friend and our long-distance relationship.

Other anime have also touched me in the feels, but so far, these two deserve the honorable mention of Most Tears Shed in One Hour.

i only cry when an anime really hits close to home or if im really invested in the characters
i cried watching evangelion, tokyo ghoul, 91 days, death parade, digimon tri, grave of the fireflies and kiznaiver but only at the most emotional moments

hunter x hunter stumped me so much emotionally that i couldnt cry no matter how much i wanted to, i just felt empty and drained
koe no katachi got me crying several times

but no matter how dumb it seems kanojo to kanojo no neko: everything flows made me cry the most. i have a cat of naturally i'd be pretty sensitive if anything happened to any cat, let alone my own.
