i was wondering where everyone's family was! that was a pet peeve or mine the entire show. we always saw nozaki's house and no-one else's except sakura's, and that was barely. still we saw no family members or other friends or anything. thanks for that.
Cratex said:Well, at least Sakura can laugh about it.
Regardless, Nozaki deserves this:
lol! that part was funny as well :D
lol no. miko rules all!
MoeGod said: Decent last episode I suppose. I wish the girls had more screen time together, they had such good chemistry and funny interactions. I kinda pity Sakura in the end though.
Overall it's an average comedy show for me. Most of the jokes (like 80-90%) were bland or very predictable, just not enough randomness as other comedies. I don't know if it's because of bad directing or just character problem, probably a bit of both, but the jokes that I felt should've been funny ended up being flat due to its delivery.
Nozaki is a boring character for the most part and Yuuichi Nakamura should probably stay away from comedy and stick to stoic or cool characters like he always does. It says a lot that the few funny moments that Nozaki had was when he was being silent and just let his antics did the work. Mikoshiba and Sakura were okay but they too got stale very fast.
The other side characters though are a different story. Kashima and Hori pair is a never ending source of gold comedy moments. Sei and Waka are mildly entertaining and they had their moments. I just wish the show gave them more screen time. I had this at 4/10 for a long time but that would be unfair for the side characters so 5/10. Just decent enough to pass time but certainly can't compare to other comedies this season.
yup.

And I can't believe they left this part unfinished!!
LOL ikr! what happened?!?!?!? D:

MeowMaid said: I really loved these series. It made me laugh so much and the characters are adorable. I thought that there won't really be any kiss or serious romance elements, but overall this anime is bery cute and sweet! So sad that it ended.
If there will be a 2nd season, I'll definitely watch it!!
ooh, mayrin :P

So much feels for the last scene. TBH I felt bad for Chiyo, Nozaki is so dense lol.
ooh, fisheye placebo! :D

i like the last one best.
KageNoAbisu said: I loved this. I normally don't like romance, but I loved this series. Tons of moments where I was laughing super hard, great characters, lovely art, fun plot. The romance wasn't overdone, which was nice, it stayed cute.
What made me really happy was that the main female character was very likeable. She could think for herself and be very honest even with the guy she liked. Basically, she wasn't annoying, which was AWESOME. It's what I normally hate about romance series.
8/10
makishima in your sig! :D

there's really nothing to shout about in this show. it was lukewarm to me, the jokes being hit or miss depending on the person. i know people were expecting the kiss but come on, be logical. nozaki had - has - no idea anyone likes him, and i'd hardly expect him to get confessed to and say "Oh, you love me? Fine then, let's kiss!" it would have been even a more retarded series if that happened...
speaking of it, i had seen it before but in picture version on FB like a year ago. so that's where it came from...
also i have used to kiss teases quite recently so i'm not that much of a butthurt.
6/10. if S2 includes lots more miko then it would be worth watching. |
