| Good set up episode that didn't feel too rushed. I'm already intrigued by the dystopian setting and the characters. Looking forward to when the craziness will turn up. |

| I'm kinda getting a Dorohedoro vibe from this anime (a slight one), so Imma do it dorohedoro style What we learnt this episode: 1. Doc Panda is a good guy 2. Always call Akaboshi as Bisco 3. Pawoo is hot 4. Tsuda Kenjirou sounds sexy as always voicing Kurokawa 5. ODOKAWA IS DOC MILO!?!?!? (he is) 6. The sound design slaps 7. The staff is stacked! What do mushrooms do? We do not know And what will happen next episode? That's still a mystery That is... SABIKUI BISCO! I might keep this up for further episodes if I feel like it still has dorohedoro vibes or if I remember it or even watch it before getting burnt out from anime like I normally do |
| This is one of rare occurrences where a trailer made me pick up a show. Some Sunabozu or Casshern vibes made me interested even more, so it's pretty disappointing to see so much lazily written exposition talk or the main action point of the episode being defendant on mindbogglingly incompetent and inadequate border security. I hope this show won't completely rely on weirdness and aesthetics to cover incoherent and subpar writing. Come on anime industry, this past decade in anime is really bland, stop disappointing. |

| I think the potential for this anime is very high. I just hope they don't ruin it. Episode one world building and set up was good. I think the Three main characters in Bisco, Milo, and Pawoo can be very cool. Looking forward to the rest of this. Also the soundtrack was fire. |

| Episode 1 just adapted 50 pages out of 350, so at this rate it would take 7 episodes to cover vol 1. Granted, usually due to needing to introduce everything, the first episode usually covers less than the following one, so it may be done in 6 instead, meaning the 12 episodes will cover the first 2 volumes. I was wondering how they would animate some of the stuff in vol 3 as it sounds quite difficult to do without blowing the cost of a full episode every 3 seconds of animation during some stuff happening in vol 3, but I guess that solves the problem since they should not be in the anime. overall, it's an adaptation that definitely takes its time, but without overdoing it either. 1 vol in 6 episodes should be a nice pace. In fact, since it seems like they've been doing a bit of jumping around in the timeline (almost baccano anime style), maybe saying that they've adapted 50 pages is incorrect, as next episode will probably contain several scenes that were part of those 50 pages. So maybe we're in for a one volume only adaptation. |

| Pretty wacky premise. The whole mushroom thing is pretty weird. Mushrooms being the cause of a disease makes enough sense but I wonder if they'll get into the mechanics of how dude spawns massive mushrooms out of his ass. |
| Really good start. Everything about the world and characters are so far interesting. Hopefully it gets better and better as time goes on. and god damn Pawoo is hot. im looking forward to the next ep. |

| Pretty cool first episode, the world seems interesting. I noticed that the original manga is pretty short, I wonder if this is going to be under 12 episodes. Then again, the LN series is still going, so who knows. |

| I just tried watching this because the trailer made no sense at all. It seems this is quite interesting. A world where mushrooms are illegal. What a nightmare! Panda-sensei is kind of hot. lol. I am very weak to cute guys who are intelligent and kind. The art and animation are also nice. I hope they stay nice, or become even better. I am quite intrigued by the setting so far. Really wanna know where this is heading. |

| Looks interesting. Not perfect in production and execution of its ideas, but it has a vision and gets enough right to be worth watching. The debuts this season look pretty weak so far, meaning this has a decent shot at debut of the season if it plays its cards right. |
