This episode blew me away. A lot of episodes this season have been hit or miss but when they hit they really hit, as evident by this episode. This episode is on par with jyushimatsu's girlfriend ep in season 1 though. Most of the episodes lately have been pretty good so here's hoping next week is a good one aswell.

The entire second half of this season has been great, I'm not sure why people are surprised that this episode was also really good.

Wow, this episode was really different than the usual but had a pretty good story. Glad that everything was able to work out for Iyami and the little girl, and the village coming together at the end was pretty nice too. Only thing was that Chibita liking the girl was kind of creepy >_< No OP or ED this episode really, but I thought it was a very solid episode :3 Ah Ichimatsu in the preview ... someone should give me chocolates too XD Guess it's because next week will be a Valentine's episode lol :P

You know as great as this episode was I can't help but feel this is wasted potential on Iyami. The author could have easily worked this in to Iyami's younger life correlating to the old Osomatsu-san. The tone and colors used for this episode would have been an awesome way to connect us to the older series as well.

It's a shame everyone is apparently doomed to be irredeemable pieces of dog crud to the very end it seems, still a fun series but I feel they very much could have taken a Gintama spin with this and giving us a character more like Madao instead of taking a back seat on things.

Probably one of my favorite episodes of Osomatsu-san easily along with the rest of the romance episodes I just wish they would actually make these events mean something to the cast rather than seemingly coming off as a one shot or simply a story that holds no impact on the Osomatsu-san canon.

All and all it's a bit frustrating the more I get episodes like this the more I want to see everyone get there acts together.

Great episode, I thought this show was done with it's dumb humor but that raised the bar again a little.
Trying to watch all available anime series so you won't have to anymore, the list of anime I can recommend is still in progress, tho

I'm actually amazed by this.
As someone mentioned, this is an adaptation of City Lights, considered by many to be Charlie Chaplin's greatest creation. It took me a few minutes to pick up on it, I admit, but I really latched onto it quick after I realized what was going on, and I enjoyed it greatly.
I must say, for a gag anime, they absolutely nailed this one. It's hard enough to adapt a story like City Lights effectively, but they still managed to throw in a pretty ample serving of comedy into the episode, which for the most part worked extremely well.
Someone with a more refined cinematic palate may scoff at me, but damn, this is a high point for an anime if I've ever seen one. The only downside is that it may make next week's episode underwhelming by comparison!

I cried like the whole fucking episode. It got me the most because Iyami just happens to be my fave character of Osomatsu-san. If it was anyone else, maybe it would have been fine, but since it was Iyami it really got me. Holy crap.

I wasn't expecting a full-length episode of one segment, let alone a more sad one, but it was a nice change of pace and I enjoyed it a lot. I liked to see new sides of the characters (mostly Iyami and Chibita,) and I really liked the character designs for the brothers especially in this episode. The little girl was an enjoyable addition to the episode and I hope we see more of her in background scenes or something. It was overall a really nice episode, some of the more recent ones have been lacking and I'm glad they didn't pull a sanematsu or a dayon skit to fill the rest. 8.5/10

Pretty good episode, probably the only time a skit like this (uncannon, only has characters placed into a different setting rather than actually following the cast) has worked this season. It kind of loses a bit of impact by it being kind of so predictable but it was still successful.

Sadly as good as this episode was, its not going to make up for how much the episodes have been dragging this entire season.

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Holy shit! I was not expecting such a heartfelt and touching story from this show.
This pulled right at my heartstrings. It was such a tragic tale.
Best episode of the series, for sure.

Huh, I thought it was one of the worst episodes. No entertainment, no creativity, just a bunch of tired clichés that really doesn't suit this series.

I miss this kind of episodes from Osomatsu-san. I remember s1's Jyushimatsu Falls inlove Episode, and that one episode of Ichimatsu's cat ran away. That made me so sad. This ep was full of feels

Holy shit this was extremely sad I almost cried. Amazingly heartfelt episode, I wish the ending was different, like Iyami actually going to talk to her. But even seeing her happy in the flower shop was enough for him. I legit teared up when he saw that the shop was named after Iyami and he cried. 10/5

A simple, cliched, yet heartwarming episode. I don't know why I liked it even though it's so unoriginal but it was good and unexpected.

Fuck the police! How dare they falsely charge my boi Iyami! He didn't do nuffin!
