| Holy crap what an episode. Lelouch's plan to trick the Kyoto resistance leader was really cool. As was his strategic revelation of his identity. The resistance dude said some real interesting things when he saw who Lelouch was. Also even though this one was at least planned ahead. I love how C.C. saves Lelouch for the hundredth time. The ending of this episode was really thought provoking. I've mostly been on Lelouch is side in this show with little revelations. But after accidentally bumping off Shirley's Dad he may be rethinking the wisdom of his strategy. Hugging a high school girl in the rain, seconds after finding out you killed her Dad is pretty baller though. |

| There were so many politics this episode. It was really hard to keep up. I thought the only show I had to actually pay attention in was Monogatari... It was pretty cool seeing Lelouch yet again completely outclass someone intellectually. Never gets old. I didn't see him killing Shirley's father coming, though.
