| Why do I have the feeling that the secret inside Nadeko's closet is something trivial (to a normal person). Like Kaiki saying "WTH is this?" means more like "Really? This is it?! This is the secret? *smh*" and would end up actually being hilarious. A childhood diary or something. Peace peace XD! And the OP is definitely full of win. Blast from the past haha ^^ |

| All in all this episode was pretty good for the Senjougahara and Kaiki development, it's nice to see Kaiki show some sympathy but I wonder how long it'll last. It was pretty obvious something serious was gonna be in that closet, I mean, the only thing Nadeko wanted to hide? Sounded fishy from the start. mugi said: My mouth didn't want to close when that OP played. Trollmonogatari is complete now. There needs to be a spin-off series called Trollmonogatari. XD |

As in the anime it only depicts the expression of Kaiki and Gahara during their conversation but the excerpt explained the situation furthermore, in Kaiki pov of course. You can read hpulley's reply over my post for the next excerpt he posted. Add: The context here is Gahara's reaction towards Kaiki's crazy suggestion, not Kaiki thought after Gahara's done crying in the washroom. |

| I've said it 50 times already but the new OP Kogarashi Sentiment is totally amazing. There is a 4:21 looped version on Nico Nico Douga which... being Nico Nico Douga can be looped forever. Too bad they added a final panel with their own message, otherwise it could be smoothly on repeat forever. | Another great episode. I'm really enjoying this arc, things are getting very interesting. Not to mention the OP, it is pretty awesome, with that old anime style and stuff. Great to see Ononoki back, couldn't stop laughing with her "Yeah! Peace, Peace!". Kaiki's reaction to it was even funnier. Eagerly waiting for the next episode. I'm seriously curious about that closet now. |

| The OP was fcking great. Nice, how the OP is presented in two different visual styles (80's retro style and Monogatari's up-to-date one) because both of the characters grew up in different decades. Well done, Shaft. And damn, how I "hnnnngg"-ed to death when Hitagi thanked Kaiki after crying in the bathroom. It's nice to see such a vulnerable and sensitive side of her. Too cute. Okay, so 3 episodes are left. The first 3 episodes covered 25 chapters of the Koimonogatari novel (<- which is 39 chapters long by the way). So 14 chapters left. Not sure, but I think that 2 episodes would be enough to cover the remaining chapters. So will episode 26 be some kind of a special? |

| It's the way Nisioisin writes. Lots of lead up before a big payoff at the end so the number of pages per episode is often quite inconsistent and often blasts through the intro and then takes its time for the ending. They can take a single battle chapter, which is usually at the end, and animate it for an entire episode or they can take Hanekawa's letter chapter and boil it down to a few minutes of nothing when in reality it is 44 minutes of audio when they put it on the disc as a bonus. The series composition director really has to pick and choose. So far this season I have been able to predict the ending chapter of each episode quite easily. In many respects it isn't how many chapters or pages they cover, it is how many major events they can cover. They want to end it at a good spot. Machine Doll does the same thing while Golden Time juggles everything... just depends how they want to do it. Honestly there was enough material for all 5 arcs to have been 6 episodes. They will just be skipping less in Koimonogatari if they do it in 6. But I guess we'll know after episode 5 ends. |
