| Accordind to this thread, misleading = I liked the first episode, but not the rest of the show *sigh* Anyway, Druaga Tower of Uruk has a pretty funny, misleading first episode, and with the OP if you I didn't know better I'd have thought it was a school anime. |

Highschool of the Dead is also about living in a zombie apocalypse except that their school didn't come with a grocery store, solar panels and a small plantation. I've also never said that they should be fighting zombies but they've such an easy life at school that they won't ever have to worry about anything. It reached a point where even the characters start to suspect it and now they're trying to excuse it by having the school be informed about the source of zombies which not even the government did prepare against. It was stupid and it's just getting worse. |
| None to be honest.(or I just forgot) I knew Madoka Magica would be dark by the first moment I saw the dream in first episode. Gakkou Gurashi has subtle hints that make you know it is a zombie based genre, if you pay attention. People has different mindsets, so I can't really say. |

| The Aegis of Uruk: the first episode is a sidesplittingly hilarious comedy. After that it's boring generic fantasy (so I dropped it somewhere midway through). Yoru no Yatterman: the first episode made me cry, the only time that's happened to me. It seems like it's going to be a subversive take on an old heroes vs. villians series in the first episode, and it is not. It gets worse with each episode afterward, culminating in an appalling final episode that's half reused footage as well as a deeply disappointing end of the story. |

After EP1: Meh, I was tricked, it's all some kind of slice-of-life thing with a Chuuni scientist and a Chuuni hacker... and others... many, episodes later: WTF, I was tricked again! This is actually, you know, dark and all, like the first episode! You KNOW what I am talking about here! |

| Trigun's first episode took me completely by surprise. We have the bad-ass guy in a huge red coat with a cannon for a sidearm. Then we get to the bar scene and he totally flips persona and runs away because he had no ammo. Hilarious XD |

| School Days I guess. I watched the first episode a while back and nearly died of boredom. Of course I had heard about it and was spoiled, but from what I saw I would not have expected it. Just seemed like your standard, boring, tired harem crap. |

| Shokugeki No Souma. Thought it was going to be a stupid piece of ecchi trash about a guy that makes women orgasm with his food. Then it turned into a self-aware lewd and funny anime highschool masterchef with actual world class recipes and genuine food science. |
