| Damn, that actually surpassed my expectations. I really like characters like Kousei, who worked so hard onto one thing (well, even thought his mom forced him), then life happens and, well, the story begins. Not to mention the facial expressions, I already love them. And is there a better way to start such story than with some sweet, sweet ntr? /s |

Really liking the visuals, the art is pretty and the color palette is so bright and cheerful that it seems magical. Kousei's back story so far I'm indifferent to, pretty sure I've seem similar ones before, I might care more if there's more to the back story. I'm just enjoying this cheerful atmosphere so far as well as the music. Looking forward to more~ |
| I love it! I don't think this will be a "yay music is fun again! Happy!" kind of show but most likely a feels roller coaster and I predict it's going to be delicious :D Love triangle incoming? If so, I feel bad for Tsubaki. Childhood friends rarely ever win. |

| Wow. Great ep. I think I found it. A series for that Fall that can be my anime of the season. The OP was great, the characters are great. Everything flowed well. I have no complaints on this I hope they can keep this up! Sent with Mal Updater |

| Wow, I have to admit, I think this was my most favorite anime premiere of the Fall. I definitely wasn't expecting to enjoy it that much. Love the animation and the colors. The OP was fantastic as well, very catchy! I think this may be the start of something great! |
| From what it look like, we can already see where the romance is going : Tsubaka → Kousei → Kaori → ? I hardly believe that she really have a crush on Watari, intuition I'd say. But who knows? I'm probably wrong. I also feel somehow that Watari is secretly in love with Tsubaka. You know that cliche, fourth wheel is in love with third wheel but act like a ladykiller so he don't get between her and her crush. Ohhhh man, dis is gon b gud ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) Poor Tsubaka, she earned the honorable title of ''childhood friend'', the character that is destined to be deceived and to help her crush get closer to the girl he loves. That was some damn amazing eyes porn. Almost on Hyouka level. I almost got a boner looking at those eyes. Dem eyes, mmmm Anyway, it was a good first episode, we got a clear background on the character and what are the changes that are going to happen. I don't mind that, the most important is the journey they go on to make that happen. Also, I fucking love classical music, woot woot. |

I looked through the available staff on its MAL page and they only share the same sound director which is nice. I feel the similarites because: - Main girl is blonde (and gives off prodigy vibes) - Mixed gender casting - Very theme-based (art/music) |
| Love the OP and the ED. The OST is good too. As a music lover, i can't miss this anime. I want Kousei and Kaori duet if possible.. Dang it watching this pumps me up, Gonna play some music.. |

| AHHH. Why did they throw in an accidental pervert moment w/ tsundere reaction? I was loving the episode so much up until that point. I just adasfadsfds... x-x Ahem. Anyway, it was really good other than that. The male protagonist was given a good base personality and backstory, and we were introduced to our female protagonist as well (who I believe was the little girl watching him at the competition). The art was beautiful, and the music was really good too. I particularly liked the character designs, which feels like a good compromise between more distinctive "realistic" faces and more cutesy moe faces: It has the best of both worlds. I'm quite peeved at the mother for turning something so beautiful into something Kousei hates. I'm glad Kousei doesn't mope, though. I didn't care for most of the comedy, particularly the example at the top of my post, but putting that aside I'd say this is the best first episode I've seen this season. At this point I'm fairly certain I'll end up following this through. Edit: Nitpicky wording moment. |

| Not really not classical music, more into jazz and bluegrass, but this episode left a lasting impression on me! Mos def gonna pick up the manga, because I can't until next week! |
| Heyhey, that was quite a start! Though the art style isn't really one that I'm too fond of, but it seems that it's certainly worth sticking around for this. Plus, I'll probably get used to it soon. I definitely can see a lot of potential for this show. That was quite an amusing coincidence with the phone camera towards the end. xD |

| Wow, before anything, MC as incredible healing powers. Maybe it's just because i'm a sucker for blondes in anime, but Kaori is super cute and pretty. Decent first episode, was looking forward to this anime. The character designs are different but they did not disappoint. I like how their school uniforms are normal looking PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be some kinda love square. >:O |

| Amazing. As soon as I saw the OP I knew this was going to be great. As a fan of Nodame Cantabile this does give off a similar vibe as others have mentioned but seems much nicer in the animation department. Really looking forward to seeing the next episode :) 5/5 |

| This show is fascinating, I love everything. The OP and ED is heartwarming. Great job of Aniplex and Dentsu, the animation is impressive and they know when to play the comedy. Hikari and Kaname from Nagi no Asukara, Mirai and Hiroomi from Kyoukai no Kanata joined together, awesome. Kaori's voice is so cute and adorable <3 I love piano and violin, I wish I can play piano T^T It seems like Tsubaki have a feeling for Kousei, because of that holding hands scene. Hahaha, I like that part when Watari is so confident with himself while talking to Kaori. Kaori is a bit of tsundere though, I want Kousei to end up with Tsubaki. I really enjoyed this episode, I wanna watch the next one right now >3< |

| Was expecting they would use that song in the 2nd PV as opening. I though that was already "Hikaru Nara" by goose house but it turned out that that was just another cover. Aw really love that song. Well, the OP is still ok though. |

| Loved that Moonlight rendition at the start. Was surprised to see an actual Steinway being advertised in an anime. With a 22-episode 'repertoire', I will be expecting great content from this anime. 4/5. |

| I love this, probably the strongest start of the season so far as far as new anime goes (so sequels like LH or Chaika doesn't count). The only similarity with Nodame is both are musical anime but that's about it. A1 certainly didn't pull any punches when it comes to the budget though. The art was a feast for my eyes.. so colorful and gorgeous. Hopefully they keep on focusing on the music and keep the love triangles or quadruples at the side. |

| I loved this episode! This was something I had high expectations for and I'm glad i did. Definitely one of my favorites of this season along with Kiseijuu. -The visuals are great, nice and smooth. -The tone and atmosphere is beautiful, just felt a bit iffy about the transition into the comedic parts. -I love the soundtrack, and liked how they got Goose house(a group that rose from Youtube) to do the opening ;) -Liking the characters especially the main guy. I can so relate to him when it comes to that sudden traumatic experience of not being able to play an instrument. I haven't gotten into a classical music-focused anime since Nodame so this'll be exciting! |
