| It's always funny when Holo seems jealous or uneasy when Lawrence talks to Nora. At the very least, they are on better terms now and she seems more like a companion. Unfortunately, it looks like she didn't feel well and Lawrence ended up having to take care of her. I think it's a sweet and cute episode with Lawrence feeding her. They've been traveling companions but Lawrence also shows good care for Holo when she needs the most. |

| Being disinterested in something is one thing, but being disinterested like Holo.. when Lawrence pays her part of due attention to someone else is totally other lol. Now she being down might be blamed to her poor health(mostly btw), but we know that wasn’t the only thing xD Lawrence would’ve gained some good points by tending to Holo all night by sitting beside her, but hey we know he wouldn’t do something so out of character, and so does Holo, so I find it funny how she didn’t even get mad over something like that. Though yeah, if we see this episode it does kind of feel like something which would serve as a continuation after a cour. Although we didn’t have any break, but it serves as a good breather before diving into the thick of another arc. By the way, Lawrence has a long way to go before he understands how women think. Myuri cameo in the end does mean this was the conclusion of the first cour. |

| Another week not being married to holo sigh. It’s crazy how for such a beloved original work there’s like zero hype for this remake. Barely any comments in the discussion thread and just seems mute even on social media. But that’s cool, more Holo for me 😋 This episode was literally just dialogue in one room for 25 minutes and it’s still instantly improved my mood and one of the best parts of the week hands down. Great way to wrap up Holo’s jealousy arc and finally get she and Nora on good terms. I actually didn’t think they’d go back to this bit so quickly after how last episode ended, but I’m ok with it because jealous Holo is so cute! Her face when Lawrence kept praising Nora for the gold smuggling arc success had me 😭 Lawrence my boy cmon now, spread the love. I loved seeing Holo reflect on how impactful her time with Lawrence has been too! It’s amazing how you can live for so long and time just passes by and then you meet someone that ignites your soul like this and time just seems to slow down in the best possible way. I’d actually love to see what her adventures with other humans were like before Lawrence too Soooooo cute how Lawrence tucked Holo in bed and cared for her in this episode! Feeding her too?!! I could watch an hour long sequence of this lmao. She was really milking it too as a payback for how he was praising Nora. “What is so special about her, is it the blonde hair?” 💀 Nah man, Lawrence so 🐶 💔 stop telling Holo you’re gonna have Nora go buy her shit lmaoo bro has zero emotional intelligence, love em though. Holo damn near sank into the bed when she saw Nora show up in her room to talk 😂 but they bonded over how dumb Lawrence is so fair play. The beef is finally over. Even Holo can’t resist how pure Nora is |

| A pretty solid episode to bridge the gap between the first cour's volumes and what is to come next, I think the original anime version of this episode was the OVA before season 2. I actually thought this version of the episode was better. The opening credits sequence from that original one bothered me a bit while this was more straightforward and better, and the actual flashback sequences with reflection from Holo about her past and journey with Lawrence was definitely better here. Pretty slow as a whole without much happening, but those reflections from Holo's side helped carry a decent chunk of the episode and it was nice seeing Holo and Nora laugh and bond a bit together about Lawrence's denseness. He has quite some work to do in that department. I also did like the little sequence at the end there with Holo and the girl from the beginning of this season, continuing to drink together and reminisce about the story with the wolf and the 'sheep' in the process. While this wasn't necessarily the most interesting episode plot-wise or characterization wise, it served as an effective enough breather and transition episode to ease viewers into the next volume's content that way. Plus, a journey isn't just all drama, even some more mundane episodes with stuff like this doesn't hurt once in a while and the timing for it worked enough for this to have a purpose and be decent enough. I thought the original version of this was alright but this new version actually was an improvement for me at least, from what I can recall. Decent episode. |
| So, that's why we have 25 episodes and not 24 I guess. Book 3 adaptation begins next week instead! It was a nice breather and a sweet episode overall gotta admit, plus we got to see more of Nora which is nice, although I can't wait for them to get back on the road :) |
| I'm so glad the OVA episode is also in the Remake! For some reason, I thought it'd be skipped like Episode 7 from the OG. What can I say? It was a nice epilogue story for the last arc. Holo was incredibly cute in this episode as always. I liked how Holo's VA actually made it sound like she was sick. I thought that was a bit endearing. The medical theory Lawrence talked about is probably very outdated. I remember watching a video about medieval medicine on YouTube at some point which talked about the 4 states and balance and stuff. I'm surprised this is still kept in the anime cause it could be misleading to some. But I suppose it just makes this anime more accurate for the time period it's supposed to be taking place in. I wonder who Holo is narrating her story to. I wonder when that scene takes place... It's pretty clear she made it back to her homeland. But I wonder how much time has passed since she started telling her tale to others.... Hyped for the next arc! |
| From a shepherd to a tailor is indeed quite the career jump for Nora. Really like the bond thats been forged between Lawrence and Nora though. After what they been through its nice to see the cast take things slow. Though unfortunate that Holo become ill. But it was cute seeing Lawrence take care of her. It was pretty fun seeing the trio have some fun at the end. |

I'm so glad the OVA episode is also in the Remake! For some reason, I thought it'd be skipped like Episode 7 from the OG.
What can I say? It was a nice epilogue story for the last arc. Holo was incredibly cute in this episode as always. I liked how Holo's VA actually made it sound like she was sick. I thought that was a bit endearing.

| @0451 As a history fan, I knew that medieval medicine was a bit "special", to say the least, but Lawrence still looked like a science freak or most of his medical lecture, lmao. But all jokes aside, am I correct in understanding that they finish the original first season with its OVA with this episode? And what awaits us next is a version of the second more faithful to the original novel? |

| This episode was super sweet and bonus points that Lawrence didn't get betrayed for a whole day no less, he was so diligent reading, I feel he has a better future as a doctor, chef or even alchemist instead of being a Merchant haha. |

| A tad lukewarm episode for me this time. Normally I enjoy the dialogues and the back and forth between Holo & Lawrence. But his rant about cold foods and dry foods was just plain boring and preachy (specially since he just read them in a book). The flashbacks felt also a tad like padding animation, imho. I have no complains on the rest of the episode though. |
| Really glad they went and adapted the OVA from OG as I don't remember anything about it other than the fact that Holo was bitching about food and was sick. And my memory was pretty spot on lol. Episode was definitely needed to make Holo's character feel like, well a character and more than just a OP wolf that helps Lawrence when he's in a sticky situation and such. Things like her being jealous in a way of Norah, even if in the end they ended up bonding... over making fun of Lawrence xD Myuri making an appearance does set in the fact that from here it's the "second season" of the OG, in that it was supposed to but from what I had heard, was just filler basically. So lets see what the TRUE second season has in store for us. |

| Possibly the best episode for back and forths between Lawrence and Holo, I thought we were in for an upsetting episode when Holo first got sick but that ended up becoming one of the sweetest anime episodes I’ve ever seen lol, Lawrence spoiling a sick Holo was just too good. I also loved Holo’s incredibly clear jealousy of Norah, Lawrence ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to bringing her up and it made for some great moments. But despite the way Holo feels about Norah, she actually had a very nice moment with her which ended the episode on a good laugh, and we also got another scene of the future where Holo is telling the show like a story after the ED, it’s cool to see and I guess that means we’re now entering a new part of the story, it’s also because I see folks saying this episode is apparently an OVA in the OG so there’s also that reason as well lol, very cool that an OVA episode made it into the remake, I’m certainly glad it did because it was a great one. And it absolutely doesn’t feel right that the next episode is in July, but I’m definitely excited for the next cour of the show in the summer season! |
| This is the pivotal moment I've been waiting for all season. We've all been hoping and presuming that it's going to follow the true LN route but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see if they swerve everyone and go the manga route instead. Next week is it. |
| Nice chill episode with the 'I have a fever' cliche. Holo realising Lawrence doesn't know that she doesn't like Nora because Holo is jealous was funny. Holo also coming to terms with the fact she has caught romantic feelings for Lawrence is adorable. |

| At first I though Holo had an episode of reactive hypoglycemia, given how much and how fast she ate; but we have to consider that this was compounded by the disease of... jealousy xD. Too nice that Lawrence "googled" her symptoms (or at least the equivalent for that time). |

| It's a win-win siutation for all, though Holo can't stand Lawrence having to service Nora being his usual smooth talker style, and to make matters worse, she isn't feeling well. Holo reminiscing of her past origins to when she met Lawrence, though said guy who is knowledgeable about medicine, is helpless himself that he did not detect Holo having a rather bad sickness of a fever. Still, he is suited to take care of her, giving her diluted apple wine for recovery to fill the moist fluids for her body...and having apples integrated into food, only gets her all beaming and Shoujo-like to request Lawrence make some good apple-centric porridge for her, filled with sheep milk and cheese. It's all sweet for Lawrence feeding the sick Holo, but mentioning Nora in front of her is a strict no-no, and being the dense person that he is, Lawrence just doesn't get women, though he's still the same helpful person as ever. And him having Nora come and see her, the girls can easily get each other, while Lawrence just relies on his corner. We've reached the epilogue of the first Act, the OG's Season 1 and Season 2's Episode 0 OVA that covers Volume 1 and 2 of the LN (up to Volume 6 of the manga). The journey continues on forth... |

| I forgot that this was an OVA episode in the original adaptation, but now reflecting on it, I did enjoy it the first time around and the same can be said for this episode in the new adaptation as well. The vast majority of the episode was just in the room Lawrence and Holo were staying at, with Holo recovering from a fever, but it was another showcase of how fun it is to see the pair interact with each other. Nora joining in the conversation and getting along with Holo and Lawrence was cute and heartwarming, too. With that wrapped up, I do look forward to the second half and what it'll have on offer. =) |

| It's incredible that an episode set in a single environment, with Lawrence taking care of a sick Holo, could be so beautiful and good. There's beauty in simplicity. But seriously, Lawrence is too much; he's a fool with no emotional intelligence. Like any man, I struggle to understand hints, but he's taking it to another level. |
