| Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu: Pretty fresh tone, good visuals & animation, but the story & characters are extremely retarded + full of contradictions making it clear that the show is laughably trash. Texhnolyze: The themes were pretty strong & thoughtful, too bad the presentation was incredibly tedious, haphazard & random in nature with excessive silence/dullness with repetitive static shots of characters staring at things, making the show really hard to watch. Monogatari series: Good well-polished visuals, Koyomi & Kaiki are likable characters, dialgoues are intriguing at times, but the weird camera angles, female characters with wierdo/retarded personalities & the shitty/cringe & cheap ecchi fanservice moments ruin all that. (Note that I'm still in the process of watching the Monogatari series & haven't finished it yet) Neon Genesis Evangelion: Misato was a good, likeable character, unlike most of the other characters who were unlikable emo bastards, whose personalities gradually more & more grating, repetitive & stale throughout the course of the series due to the show's tendency of putting excessive effort in digging deep into characters' flawed psychologies instead of trying to actually developing the characters in terms of their flaws. (Note that I'm referring only to the main series of NGE here, since I can't say that I dislike End Of Evangelion as I thought it was actually good until its terrible/messy second half) |

| Well the Koi to Uso opening is an absolute banger. Shit hits hard, sad that it was wasted on a pretty dogshit anime. Tenki no Ko had amazing production, amazing cinematography, as well as a pretty good radwimps sound track. The rest was ass though, depressing to see shinkai make something so creatively boring and bankrupt. Uhh and nisemonogatari has the toothbrush scene I suppose. |
