----------------------------------------
Episodes 11-14 were streamed on Netflix Japan on June 16th.

a pretty nice conclusion to Cynthia's revenge story. tho, i have mixed feelings about Edamura's decision of swapping the original with the copy. i get his reasoning, but it would've felt even more satisfying if Coleman found out his long desired painting was a copy in the end

can't wait for Laurent's arc next. i get a feeling his will be the most interesting one

Loved the arc, and I feel the same about what Makoto did, but they took it better than I did. Gonna guess that Dorothy is Laurent's late fiancee/wife and whatever happened to her made him turn to a life of conning only bad people.

A great conclusion to this great arc. I knew Edamura was gonna do that and I'm happy he did it. Also seems like Edamura x Abby is progressing slowly and tbh I really want this ship to sail lol. They are a really amusing couple.

Next it proly Laurent's arc and I'm looking forward to it. Really wanna know what made him into the top class con man he is.

A great conclusion to the story. They took Coleman for all he was worth and made sure to protect Farrah, who was a poor victim in the whole thing.

Thomas and Cynthia are now on amicable terms and I hope one day they can get together again once she's through with the con-artist game.

And OF COURSE Laurent planned the whole thing. I have a feeling that somehow he's helping each of his "merry men" by doing these cons. It's not for the money, it's to give them a new start to life.

I know why Edamame did the switch, especially considering all Thomas has gone through. Though I somehow get the feeling Laurant knew that too.

The man knows everything!

Also, we'll be getting to his story next. Who is or was Dorothy?

I like this arc a lot. Imo best arc so far.

So, they went into separate ways. That closure was kind of lukewarm, but I think it is for the best. Will be missing Thomas.

Edamura (Edamame) giving his point on why Thomas' work should be kept was alright.

Farrah donated all of them, it is for the best instead of clinging on it or re-sell it. Clean slate.

Hmm, who's Dorothy? Can't wait for the next arc.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can totally say this anime's a hidden gem. Props to Wit Studio and the production committee.

I loved the conclusion to Cynthia's relationship. Sometimes things just don't work out and it's best to let things go their way. They're both different people now compared to when they were together, I don't think it would work out well for them if they tried to get back together.

Can't wait for Laurent's arc, he convinced me to watch the show back when the first PV aired and he hasn't been on the spotlight much so far.

It's called Someday by YVY [ft. Emarie] . YVY has been making all the inserts songs for the series, sans the Carnival of Animals of course. I haven't seen it anywhere, so it will probably be released in the OST.

With Thomas's forgery done at long last, only one thing remains: to completely cheat Coleman at his game and save Farrah from parting with her money.

Laurent's overall underground auction plan in session, conmen and calefare alike to throw Coleman off his tact.

The final play for the Snow of London, and I'd have to say, this was one epic and emotional auction for the showdown between Cynthia and Coleman to exact her sweet, sweet revenge towards using her ex-boyfriend Thomas and a full payback for Farrah.

Edamura swapping the forgery with the genuine one, that was a sly move, but one that he can be emphatic to Thomas's hard-working effort, just for this one time.

And finally, the close of Cynthia's chapter between her and Thomas. Really happy to see them together once again, but also really sad to see them part their ways.

The best arc so far, by a long shot.

Awaiting upon the announcements for the remaining Shanghai and Tokyo arc.

This show feels pretty satisfying at every arc end. I loved how these arcs focus on each characters solely while letting us see the other characters grow up. Loved Edamame's redemption, Abigail's salvation and Cynthia's closing. Can't wait to see how Laurent's coming arc tells a tale.

Edamame's going on to the right path too so maybe that kept him from doing the fake thing.
Yeah Laurent's arc gonna take us on a ride.

The grand scheme finally reaches its climax. I felt bad for the lady he was mooching off of, but it looks like the gang was able to get her to see the truth, thus killing Coleman's cash cow. Coleman himself was played like a fiddle by Cynthia. And now he's broke with nothing left but the painting he obsessed over. I was a little confused on how he paid for the painting, considering the lady walked out on him, but it looks like he sold everything he had and is in debt for the remaining balance. And I doubt he'd be willing to sell the only thing he has that has worth, the very thing that was his undoing, any time soon. I hope he eats nothing but tinned beans for the rest of his miserable life.

The lady on the other hand decides to sell all the art she bought for him, not only to make back the money she lost liquidating her properties, but also to rid her of what reminded her of Coleman. And it looks like she's found someone to be with in end as well.

Thomas and Cynthia were finally able to finally have some catharsis and closure on their relationship. I wondered if they were going to try and make it work again, but they're different people now and it just wouldn't work out. Cynthia signifies she has moved on by tossing the "ring" he gave her. Really nice development for both characters.

Edamura once again messes with the plan at the last second, wishing the best for everyone. Now Thomas' work is hung up for everyone to admire and enjoy.

Everything was nicely wrapped up this time. Really solid writing all around, and arguably the best written arc so far. Now it appears its Luarent's turn. This show is 23 episodes in total, so I assume his arc will be 4 episodes as well. Giving us 3 episodes for a big finale.

Cynthia really had me on the edge of my seat this episode. Holy crap when she just kept jacking up the price I was loving It! Screw Coleman. He ruined too many peoples lives. We he got the real painting but 89 mil too much lol.

Edamura is a nice guy. Love they are hinting at Him being with Abby eventually. I'm in for it.

Laurent supposedly doing all this for his own enjoyment. My god I love these characters.

I've been loving this show as a whole so far, it seems to get stronger and stronger with each arc and I absolutely love that. Seeing another side of Cynthia was great and I'm realy glad at how they concluded this arc. Cynthia and her ex finally getting some kind of closure on their relationship felt satisfying. Really looking forward to Laurent's arc, I just know it's gonna scam some tears out of me and I'm all for it.

I'm Still A Little Confused As To Why Cynthia Didn't Get Back Together With Thomas, Didn't They Say In The Last Episode That Cynthia's Feelings For Him Never Changed And She Was Waiting For Him.

And They Also Didn't Tell Us What Made Cynthia Decide To Become A Con Artist.

So, Coleman was now out of that lady's life and now all he has is that painting and I guess that lady traded all the paintings in her secret bedroom to pay for all of it... well, at least she no longer has to be that Coleman's cashcow.....

Too bad Thomas and Cynthia never reconcile, welp that's a given Thomas prefers to live out in the dumps than share with Cynthia's dirty money.

Best episode so far - I liked the background story. Didn't feel like too much unnecessary comedy and the 4 episodes were just right.

I already "knew" they would selll the genuine pic to Coleman. I mean he alraedy suffered enough. :D Thought Edamame would make a mistake though. (Or maybe Thomas would lie on purpose. To not make money with the fake and trick the con artists instead.)

Instead Edamame did it on purpose. Still a nice end also with the butler anf Fara.

Ok I feel much better on my grievances last episode. Very hype moment when Cynthia went super high on the bid. Serves Coleman right. Also makato selling the actual painting since it’s recognition of thomas’s art is brilliant, loved that. Cynthia moving on with her life was great. Now we just need Laurent’s arc, which we got a sneak peek, he’s the most mysterious. I ship him with Cynthia haha.

Overall, pretty enjoyable show so far. I would rank the arcs as LA > England > Singapore

Am I the only one that found the whole romance subplot a bit too cheesy?
The rest was stellar, especially the auction was hilarious when Cynthia taunted Coleman, which disgusted the snob so much he went completely overboard (while he was pretty much doing with the art his sugar mommy got for him, what Cynthia implied to wanted to do).
It is just that the subplot of Cynthia and Thomas felt a bit too cheesy for Cynthias part, it is not that she doesn't have feelings, but her soft spot felt to big considering she is in the business for probably decades at that point.
They also couldn't really have her leave the business, which would have made more sense with the romantic signals send by her and Thomas, but would probably lead to problems later down the line.

It felt like they made her strong character a bit wibbly wobbly for no other reason than to make the cheesy subplot even more cheesy, bit of a waste in my eyes.

This arc was better than Abby's arc with her ptsd vanishing like magic because the man who might have bombed her home said sorry.

I like how Cynthia threw away that tin toffee container, signifying she and Thomas have moved on. Their love story was beautiful but they've grown apart and have different paths to walk in life like with most people.

I am excited to watch Laurent's arc, if it's next. I wonder who Dorothy is.

That was fun!!

I love how Cynthia wanted Thomas's painting to be sold for a higher price than they'd planned.

Makoto switched the paintings so that Thomas's painting reached a place where it would be loved as Thomas's painting, and not someone else's. That was my favourite thing this episode.

Finally, we got a name for the person Laurent kisses in the ed.

Because of the Queen song, I kind of wanted Makoto and Laurent to be a couple, but I guess Laurent will end up with Cynthia. (I feel like Thomas was much better for Cynthia, though.)

I just think to myself how romantic they made the story of Cynthia.
I'd like to know the bgm's title.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Great ending to this case, look at how happy Cynthia is as she was raising the price of the painting man that was great. Shame Cynthia and Thomas parted ways, they were a good couple hopefully once they've settled down they get back together. And Edamura and Abby's relationship is progressing slowly but, surely I like those 2 together especially after Abby's arc.

And I am assuming Dorothy must be Laurent's wife or something and that their the one's in the ED no, I am sure they are especially since laurent has the same ring as in the ED. I am really look forward for the rest of the episodes this show is really good.

They just forgave each other and let their old feelings and trauma go.
Love is something that can expired really fast, moreover,i don't think Cynthia loved him, this b*tch just enjoyed the fact poor artist tomas draws portraits from her and when he stopped doing it,she just left him alone lol.

Not buying it. There was literally NO POINT in having that dude paint a forgery. No point in finding him at all. No point in his backstory with Cynthia. No point to any of it. They could've just sold Coleman the real painting without all the shenanigans and nothing would've changed.

I feel like this show loves the "cop out" ending. Soybean is a wuss. Turns himself into the cops and gives away all his money? Intentionally switches the paintings and gives the family he accidentally screwed over the fake one? After keeping the ring for years and finally meeting the man she loved again, their ending was her throwing the ring in the river? Lol wut. That's not funny because it's funny. It's just laughably dumb.

I'm just disappointed by this whole series. It starts off with a bang, then drops before plateauing. The climax was the first arc. Everything since then is just post-coital meh.

It's not funny. It's not sexy. It's not emotional. The mystery and intrigue from the first arc are gone. The action is average.

Amazing episode and best arc so far. I'm really hyped for the second part and it can't get here soon enough.

To all of you saying the outcome of Cynthia and Tomas was weird and not believable: They ended their former relationship an a "final" way and on a good stand for both. Also Cynthia said if she will meet him again and Tomas just said goodbye to her. So he was the one that didn't want to relieve the relationship again. Though this doesn't mean that they won't have a future in my opinion. I actually enjoyed this outcome, since it leaves everything open and it's not typical cliché where the couple comes together again immediately like in most Hollywood movies. Overall a fantastic show so far imo.
