Episode's out on Anime Strike..

A battle episode rightfully so thanks to all the buildup. Altair vs Selestia in a rematch while Rui takes on Alice. Yuya and his rival also has their drama going on. Blitz's role in this episode was kinda interesting as it's more about him trying to get some vengance.

Altair's still ahead of the game and I'm not surprised.

I have no idea why they release 8 hours before the Japanese broadcast every week. Is it supposed to be like that? I don't even see them talking about the new episode over at Japan. Over Twitter, that is.

In Japan ended a few minutes ago. It is just license holder, they are free of releasing it when they want if you hold the license.

¿How can you defeat Altair? I think that there is no way. For me, Souta's story part is going to be the key because Selesia and Meteora's plan isn't going to work. Finally we saw an episode with some action after some some some time

That part with Blitz and his creator was intense AF and I was on the edge of my seat throughout it all

Still, I didn't expect her to bring his daughter back to life and in the real world too.....I dunno if she did that out of sympathy or just to blackmail him, but either way, I did not see his sub plot going in this direction

The action scenes were really nice too and the new character's Stand's ability is quite powerful too =o But man Altair is just too OP lol

The battle certainly started out of nowhere considering last week was an onsen episode. Great episode though.

Action was great and the animation was pretty good as well, each of the characters have got their own battles to fight.

I can see that they're live streaming the final parts of the anime from the actual battle arena but there is just one small disparity, how are they converting live 3D footage to 2D animation in such a short time span? XD Does Meteora have a spell or something setup to make the entire thing look like an anime to the viewers?

Loved the conversation between Blitz and his author, I loved how she told him off straight to his face and made that prediction. Now that he's seen his daughter, I'm guessing him switching sides is likely now?

Not sure how the team is gonna take down Altair but let's wait and see.

The battles in the first half of the episode were awesome, and I love the soundtrack. :) I love the animation for the fight scenes. Altair is still too OP!

Blitz hated the world where his daughter has been killed, but his author can do anything to the story she wrote so now that Blitz's daughter is alive, this turn of events might become the catalyst for him to switch sides.

Awesome episode! :) It was worth the 2-week wait.

After a week of wait, it was nice to hear the OP again. They sure didn't waste anytime to get into the action.

Didn't expect the conversation between Blitz and his creator to turn out that way. It was a trap all along. But his creator, Suruga, bought back his daughter. I hope he switches sides. I liked her cocky attitude.

That Magane came back. We still don't know what she is planning. Can't wait to find out.

Very good episode full of battle and action.

Altair is too strong, she had predicted all the plan.

It seems that Aliceteria had a plan, too.

I'm worry about Magane, maybe the creator have fogotten about her. Her creator is also dead.

I've expected the creator of Yuya to be more surprised seeing the protagonist of his story to be real. By the way, Syo power is amazing.

I really liked the part between Blitz and his creator. I think Suruga-san is a great artist, she is able to understand all the psychology of her characters and she was able to revive Blitz's daughter. She had to work very hard.

I'm looking forward for the next episode.

Wow, they went all out with the start of the fight. That was pretty great honestly, best episode until now.

Best part was Blitz Talker and Suruga, i did not expect her to revive his daughter! That was well done and emotional, too.

That's only more stuff that makes Suruga the best character of the show. Already told this like 2-3 episodes ago.

Really good episode. The action was epic and the OST made it even better. Altair vs Selestia, Rui vs Alice, and Yuya vs Shou was awesome. Altair simply can't be stopped. Magane is also back. Blitz conversation with his creator was intense. It was a trap all along and his daughter is alive. That was unexpected. I wonder what he's going to do now.

Its obvious that they're expending all of their budget on these final episodes. The animation quality has noticeably improved.

Every part of the episode was interesting, though I do have to say that Magane showing up (in the arena no less) to tease Sota again was rather predictable.

Best part of the episode was definitely the fight between Altair and Selesia, and also the conversation between Blitz and his creator. The decision to bring his daughter back was an absolute master-stroke. It was predictable, but held weight and meaning all the same.

Still the midnight hour approaches, the time when it is darkest before dawn. Altair is still fending off everything they can throw at her, and she's actually beginning to break down the walls of the audience's acceptance. It's fairly obvious that she'll break the birdcage and that the battle will spill over into the real-world, the show's minute-to-midnight. That'll probably happen in the next episode. Along with Magane manipulating the audience to gain powers on par with Altair's.

That escalated quick, but I welcome this sudden change of pace, this episode got me really pumped.

It wasn't surprising at all that they didn't get Altair with their tactic, that would've been way too simple.

The dialogue between Blitz and his creator was also very captivating. I honestly wasn't expecting that Shunma would bring back his daughter, tho. With that Altair has basically almost no one left on her side except Hakua.

Can't wait for next week and I also wonder what Magane is going to do now.

Hakua, Charon, and--potentially--Magane. Remember that Magane is still operating and trying to achieve her "great miracle emperor plan." She's likely not above helping out Altair if it means that she can match Altair's power and achieve her own objectives.

Ah right, I forgot about Charon.

About Magane, I guess it's pretty safe to say that she's a loose cannon and I'm expecting her to fuck things up for both parties, but obviously more in favor for Altair and against Selesias team.

Well the battle isn't really feel that "grand" though Selesia's Ionion Aphoria looks pretty good. Too bad Magane's conversation with Shota is too short and get replaced with Blitz finally meet with Erina.

The battle has finally begun and it's been intense so far. Obviously this plan to take down Altair isn't working right now, that would make things too easy. It'll be interesting to see how they go about defeating her.

That final scene between Blitz and his creator was pretty good too, and I liked the arrogance of his creator. I wonder if his daughter being brought back will cause him to switch sides.

Also, can Charon show up so we can see him vs. Selesia.....

damn I dont know what this anime is. Its so boring some times and the endless talking is really dumb.
But it also has strong points like here with Blitz and his creator.
The fighting was ok I guess. Altair use of the swords looks good, it really feels out of this world.

I was wondering when best girl will appear again to remind everyone we still have episodes left. Lets see what she is up to.
Also when will souta become a MC? At the end he will settle things with altair and his past, no doubt. But he just feels like a side character right now.

edit - Oh right apparently they can force summon characters and gear now.

Great episode! After all those buildups before this, this is what we want from this show.

Altair sure really OP. She just casually defended herself from all those attacks LoL. Not to mention that she became Izetta and destroyed those tanks and fighter jet with her swords. And....I love the part when she appeared in Vogechevalier's cockpit, and .....hugs Selesia.....

The fight between Yuuya and Sho was awesome tho. And Bayard have interesting power, which it can attack wherever there are it's reflection. But it could be more epic if Hangaku still in Yuuya's possession.

And although Rui and Alicetaria was 'staged', but it still nice tho, and I hope next she would summon dozens of her knights once more.

Magane met Souta, I don't know what she will do, but I'm sensing that she will definitely screw the whole plan.

And really interesting interaction between Blitz and Suruga. Since the start of their debut, I'm always liked whenever their screen time. And I can't believe she brought Blitz's daughter come back to live, and also in the real world, unless that is Hikayu in disguise.

Solid episode.

Reading the comments here, I guess I'm in the minority that's somewhat disappointed with this anime. The world's at stake, but I really don't feel it. Instead of some decent buildup, they wasted time with an onsen episode etc.. Would have been nice to see if Altair's doing so far has had some effect on the world.

The fight's not too bad, but I'm not really invested. The dialogue between Blitz and his "god" was the highlight of this episode for me. I hope we get to see more of Altair's hax moves next time.

And so the final battle begins, with an impressive display of power and skill on both sides. Let's face it, Altair was gonna catch on to the heroes' plans and is simply indulging them to increase their own power. This brings forth two questions: the first is how are the heroes gonna beat her without coming across a deus ex machina and the second is how is studio gonna stretch out the final battle for five episodes without losing viewer interest. I'm also wondering what roles with Sota and Magane play, given the series is about the reach the climax. In my opinion, the best part of the episode is the confrontation between Suruga and Blitz. Suruga just owned Blitz using only words. There's taking your enemies by surprise and then there's what she did to him.

Loved how this episode went.
Even with all their planning things aren't going the way that Meteora had planned initially as both sides keep bringing in extra pieces and surprising the other.
Yuuya's fight with Shou was great because it showcased both the protagonist and his arch nemesis' fighting against one another, something that got the fan's jumping out of their seats.

Then the fight between Rui and Alicteria seems a bit suspect, as it seems like both sides aren't actually fighting to their true strengths and waiting for something else to happen first.

Selesia against Altair was fun to watch, though with Altair gaining access to her cockpit, I suspect she's also going to pull her trump card of Selesia's story's male protagonist and force a change of sides for her possibly as early as in the next episode.

At the same time Blitz being surprised by how they brought his "dead" daughter back to life, could be a turning point for his character as well.

Are we seeing a Blitz/Selesia side switch soon? Can't wait to find out.

As for Magane pouncing on Souta, it wasn't surprising that she would show up, but there's also one character missing in the lineup right now. Could we be possibly seeing a Magane v Hikayu soon? This would really rustle my jimmies. Cold blooded crazy killer vs sweet hearted clutzy dating heroine XD

The twist was completely inconceivable to me. It absolutely came out of nowhere and it blew my mind. Suruga was indeed a god. This episode is easily a 5/5 for me.

Seeing Selesia push herself to her limits only to get molested by Altair was both funny and a little tragic. I can't help but root for both of them for being underdogs.

There are a lot of chess pieces not placed on the board yet, Magane, Charon, Hikayu, Souta and to a degree Blitz, it will be awesome to see the story develop from here.

Also one interesting thing is that nigh unstoppable Altair is still looking to gain even more power using the Elimination Chamber Festival. It will take certainly take wits.

After 2 bloody weeks and that damm onsen episode i sat to this episode expecting disappointment. Thank god that this one was actually very good one.

Yes, animation was pretty wonky at times, and Alicetaria CG looks... bad, but after watching that my first thought was " why whole show can't be like that?"

Decent action, with interesting powers and choreography, and very good interactions between Creation and Creators. Real shame that we are going to get maybe one more episode similar in quality to this one, and then back to old shtick with talking Meteora (I hope i'm wrong)

Lit action, "Layers" playing in the background, plot twists and of course Altair being the Queen of Fourth Wall Fuckery, so good to have ReCreators back. I'm glad that we're finally getting into the grit for the story after the off and on build that we've been getting from past episodes. One thing I thought was weird was the weird CG for Alicetaria...that did not exactly fit the dynamic of what was going on but at least it was only here and there and not throughout the entire episode. And of course, Altair was not gonna be held down by that plan for long, I mean she's fuckin' Altair. Also, did not see the whole scene with Blitz coming but at least it explored his depth and such as well as show yet another angle of relationships between the creations and the creators. My only real complaint with this show is that Sota's relationship with Altair in terms of like a legitimate encounter hasn't been shown or even remotely explored since the first episode. Like Altair knows Sota obviously given who created her but when are we gonna be given a full on confrontation? I'm hoping that the last 5 episodes won't feel like a half-assed robbery on that front. But gonna be interesting to see where it goes from here.

Also Selesia's ass doe...

Battle happened pretty suddenly, choreography isn't excellent, but THAT'S FINE. This is to play homage to manga and old animation of hype battle scenes etc based on context more than presentation.

I was HYPE AS HELL, and they're doing such a good job of the whole 'cinematic universe' play.

Get it through your skull Blitz, dang. Though understandably, the whole situation would be disturbing beyond measure for Blitz.

I don't think Megane is interested in killing or injuring Souta. He's always excessively scared of her, though i wouldn't be. I'm aware of how people like that think and can get on a similar wavelength.

I'm still kinda wondering if that they're showing in the stadium is recordings of what's going on outside, or if it's pre-animated, and what happens outside is not the same but reflects it...

I have been of the opinion, and not about to change, that the only way that it could end where everyone accepts it, is if Altair is saved rather than defeated. Which means we're in for fights, possible near-defeat, maybe an Altair close-call recovery, and then more emotional diplomatic resolutions for conclusion.

Solid Episode, I loved it.
The Battle was good, finally action is happening again.

Altair is overpowered, she's practically writting the story from the backstage, she wants to create a singularity, but, why? My guess is that she'll try tu resurrect Setsuna and not just blow up the world.

But, That ending, Blitz meeting his creator, that scene had me on the edge every second. Blitz had the gun, yet he was overwhelmed, he was her creation, so she could predict even his speech.

To think they would resurrect Nina to make Blitz betray Altair.

Still, I suspect that's not Nina, but a well done cosplay. Anyway Blitz will be given a choice: If he helps to kill Altair, he will have a happy ending in his story.

Which points to another possible final battle: All the already summoned characters will have to face Altair, and Altair will summon Villian-Type characters to do her bidding.

Do you guys remember when Meteora asked Suruga if she's really okay with her story?

After watching this episode, I don't think just reviving Erina was the entirety of Suruga's plan.

I get this feeling that Erina is not going to live for very long, the story involving her must be a lot darker than what was let on. Maybe Suruga wrote to have Altair kill Erina or something? It's just something Suruga does.

What I am saying is that, if reviving Erina was all Suruga wrote, it'd be so bland.

Unless Amazon screwed up for the upteenth time, Altair implied that she could destroy the tanks and aircraft only because they were replicas created by Meteora, and that she would have significant difficultly destroying the real thing.

I didn't really care about the first part with the fighting, but the scene with Blitz and his author was great. I thought she'd just tell him that she could bring his daughter back and use that to hold over his head, but she was one step ahead of me and actually brought her back.

In the end, I don't think Altair will die or be defeated in combat. It will probably be a Naruto type ending where either Souta uses Talk no Jitsu to solve things, or Magane uses her power (either through force or otherwise) to get Altair to stop. Magane can use her lie of a lie power and get this to stop.
