| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It feels like Rokuro and Benio argues like a married couple already. Decent action, I think this episode had more than some of the previous episodes. Also glad to see Shimon in action. I think he has a tense relationship with Rokuro already and that's not a good thing lol  |

| I did not like this episode at all :'D definitely my least favorite out of all of them....the only thing I liked was Shimon's "tch" at Rokuro lol |

| So how much of this was anime original? I remember little if any of it in the manga, mostly blue-haired boy, but my memory could be fuzzy. Anyway the quick exit by Shimon and over 90 seconds of recap certainly supports that 4-cour rumor. I THINK I remember some of next week's preview in the manga. It'll be good to have best-girl Mayura back. Also, when it's not talking the fox admittedly is kinda cute. Too bad that's not often. |

| Seeing how the pace goes, most likely the anime aim for a very long series, which will add in more fillers like that damn fox. Different from manga, as the manga plot is fast and short. Because if it is following the manga pace, Rokuro's master one of the 12 general should be there by now. Nothing we can do about the long series, just enjoy the animation. lol |

| Well this episode was really weak and kinda generic, cliche and honestly not even funny... I hope they can do next episodes better. |
| Yeah no way the series will only have 12 episodes because both this and next episode are anime original. They still haven't introduced Kamui, Seigen and Yuuto which I doubt they'll manage in just 6 episodes. 2 or 4 cour seems more likely now. |

| After reading the manga it makes me sad that this isn't being adapted better. So much anime original stuff which wasn't even that interesting. Pacing feels too slow and the recap went for way too long. Next episode looks like more filler. |

| Even though his moments were great (The music and visuals were sooo good), I still wish that they didn't introduce Shimon so early I get that Arima wanted to "motivate" them, but really these events weren't needed at all....At least not right now I'll probably feel better next week because more Mayura characterization is always a good thing, but these anime original scenes are starting to be overwhelming for me Not a bad episode though |
| Well this was average. Wasn't Shimon introduced way later in the manga? Hoping future episodes will be better. |

| Decent episode. Did anyone else feel that the animation was sort of off during certain points? Like the kids expressions and the Kegare running at them. The battle scenes were still done well though. Are the people in the world aware of the existence of exorcists and Magano? The kids weren't really surprised and neither was the teacher when the exorcists appeared before them. Shimon seems like a cool character. I like him Benio and Rokuro's couple arguments are always fun to watch. |

| Well after that recap and the fact that most of you are saying this episode was mostly anime-original, it makes sense that this will probably end up being 4 cour. I wish it was confirmed though..... This episode didn't really impress me too much, but Shimon is kind of cool. Lol at Arima's "emergency." And ripoff Fennekin is still pissing me off.......... |

| Yawn. I actually thought I was going to fall asleep with how dull and boring this was. Please don't let this be 4-cours; I don't know if I can even take one cour of this at this point. EDIT: If this is confirmed as 4-cours at any point, I'll drop it instantly. Hell, I'll probably drop it if it's confirmed as 2-cours as well. |

| tbh, nothing spectacular happened in this episode. the action was pretty good and i found Shimon is kinda cool. and that's all. the comedy was decent too btw. and i think it's a mistake to showed the culprit's face because i can tell who was that. |

| Solid ep. gorilla kagane are no match for Shimon one of the 12 guardians. And the Benio x Rokuro moments are so good :'( "when everyone but you hates the anime original moments"  It's not bad and I think the author is involved too, he wanted Shimon to appear early on. |

| As some people mentioned the animation was really weird and horrible at some points in this episode. It looked promising in the beginning though but I couldn't stand it in this episode. And I thought that the episode was sort of rushed but also slow-paced at the same time. It seemed like they wanted to fit many ideas in this episode so it didn't feel quite smooth. I haven't read the manga this far (only Volume 1 yet) but it really differs a lot from it, this is what I could tell from the beginning. I am not someone who judges that as long as it is nicelydone but I think they should really try to pay a little more attention to story-telling and to the characters so that they don't appear dull :) |

| So, apart of Shimon's appearence and that mysterious guys of the end smiling evily, nothing happened this time. And looks that the next week we will have an anime original episode. Sasuga, Pierrot. Well, at least Arima part and Shimon's ringtone were funny. |

| Episode without importance for the development of the plot, this development really bothers me a little, since some plot points are bothering me, like this Kinako character, I know that the plot is very good indeed, but I hope a great adaptation only in the second half anime, for now is just to pass the time .. |

Do 1-cour series ever have 4 episodes in each volume release? And I doubt this series will only have 3 BD/DVD volumes. They probably haven't announced the rest yet. 2/5 |

| Does this series get any better? Because right now it's looking very bland. There's really no point in watching it when shonen like JoJo, Hero Academia, and Ushio exist this season. The familiar creature is extremely annoying and now a Sasuke-type character is here, so I can't take much more. I had heard that the dynamic between Benio and Rokuro was interesting, but it's mostly they hate each other outwardly but are actually just tsundere for each other. Nothing special. Also, why the shark teeth? |
| @ people asking if the series will get better...Manga definitely gets better but I can't say for the anime. It's honestly a mystery because Pierrot seems to be doing whatever the hell they want with the plot by rearranging chapters and adding original content...not to mention leaving out some parts of the manga that I was really hoping to see onscreen. Not even sure when Rokuro and Benio are gonna move into their new house if Pierrot keeps slowing the story down with all these fillers... |
