DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Awesome, the show is back. :3 And once again, Ginko gets himself into some conflict with Mushi. Seeing the truth or not, I'm just glad the show is back in full. First episode is the usual amount of minutes, not 45 btw. Oh well. |

| After watching S1 a few months back in preparation for S2, I decided to read the manga The chapter they decided to use for the premiere is a fitting one when compared to the premiere for S1 Is it really going to be 12 eps only though? : ( |

| What I would call a calmer episode and a nice start for the series. It's almost as if there wasn't a ~9 year gap between this and the first one. In other cases I would say "what the hell?" but this is just lovely. So split cour huh? Awesome. 12 episodes is not enough for my greedy Mushishi heart. |

| Nice first episode :) the mushi definitely look pretty, especially at the end when the guy drank the sake and looked at them from the roof. I like how he was inspired to keep going by the mushi. And also, a split cour? What great news! |

| Still the same story quality and excellent choice of chapter for the first episode, but... a lot of backgrounds were fairly simple and not nearly as detailed as in S1. I hope they fix this in the BD release. |

| Excellent choice of opening episode. It almost seems as if they'd planned it all along since Isaza (who was among the wandering people following the lifestream in the last episode of season one) is present at the banquet to show the mushi-shis where the flow of kouki is thickest. It kind of ties the seasons together nicely. :) |

| You have been absent for far too long Mushishi, but I'm glad your back now so I'll forgive you. Lovely 1st episode with the coming together of Mushi-shi from all over. I wouldn't mind tasting some of that saki as well! ^_^ |
| When I watch Mushishi I feel alive and I'm glad to be alive to watch it. Seriously, I'm super happy it came back, I really missed it. As for the episode, magical. The atmosphere is perfect as always, no offense to Masuda Toshio, but he probably was born because he had to do Mushishi's OST lol Also, the opening is gently and really beautiful just like the work itself, couldn't wish anything better than this. |

| never was a fan of S1 cuz the show is episodic. characters around ginko only get 2 episode development, then forgotten for good. not deep. |

| So it's finally here. The episode felt very nostalgic. I'm glad the atmosphere is just like it was before. I have very high expectations for this season. Can't wait for next ep. |
