| Hmm, I miss the old OP, but I like the new ending. Good job, Natsu's dad, you just killed your son. I still feel like if Natsu dies and becomes a Shiki he's going to be too strong willed to fall into the Kirishiki family's plans, or at least that's what I'm hoping. I have this glorious vision of a Shiki rebellion against their master's. XD |

| Holy crap, Natsuno's dad is either full on retarded or there was a translation error. Saw this episode on hulu and there was a conversation that went more or less like this. Natsuno: I'm having difficulty breathing.(Pale as hell and covered in sweat) Natsuno's Dad: If you're sick I can take you to the hospital tomorrow. It might be something psychological. lolwat? He just said he was having trouble breathing. I mean, I don't expect the father to buy into the whole vampire thing but damn at least protect your kid man. He might as well have killed him himself with all of the derailing he did to the Akira and Kaori. Anyways I like the new OP but it's not as good as the old one. |

| I was pretty sure that Natsuno mother was bitten. When she was cutting those shallot, she seemed really weird and her skin was grey. His father his really irresponssible. I understand to be skeptic about living dead and other thing, but to not give a shit while your son is almsot as white as snow and that he breath like a 90 years old? That's fucking stupid. Also, Natsuno doesn't seem to be ''hypnotized'' like the other people. He also seem to get healtier from the preview. So Kirishiki plan is to make the whole town a vampire town. But he's still so mysterious. Also, when everyone will be vampire, where will they get their blood from? Wouldn't a city be more usefull, since it would be showy? |

| new OP and ED are cool o_o I'm almost thinking this series is really trying to hammer a point that sometimes "logic" and "sensibility" have no place in the world; some things are truly supernatural and it's important to keep an open mind to them. Between the crazy old lady and Natsuno's father... I guess Natsuno is pretty much sacrificing his life so Toru can feast. That's kind of sweet and noble but also makes no bloody sense considering he said he has no intention of dying. Maybe his honor towards his only real friend in the village is overcoming the desire to fight off the "shiki"? Maybe he feels he'll rise anyway? Weird, I guess. |

| You had one job dad. Oh well, it's not like he was serious when he said he'd guard him over night anyway. Not a fan of the new intro at all and think it's a big downgrade from the fantastic original. New outtro is an improvement though. Guess that means Buck-Tick just makes shit better. |

| I think the new OP fits in well. It's more thriller than horror, after-all. I prefer the older ED tho, that was fabulous. New one is by the same band as the previous OP one, and I kinda don't like the atmosphere of there songs. |

But instead he choose to give it all up for the sake of someone he cared about...even though he kills people. I don't care if they are friends/family/loved ones...if they're dead, they're dead, and need to stay dead...especially if they're the ones killing people in the first place. If that happened to me, not matter what my feelings are towards them, I'd be whipping out the charms, arrows, crosses, and wooden stakes...and if possible, get my hands on some holy water. Akira and Kaori are stupid for not adhering Natsuno's warning to leave, because there's not much they can do with everyone being stuck up pricks with shit for brains. ...especially Natsuno's father...he's the most narrow minded person of all. People are dieing left and right, and the two things that could be happening is either a more scientific epidemic, or superstitious okiagari: if it was an epidemic, with the spread being most likely airborne, why leave the !@#$ing window open!? even someone with HIV/AIDs can die from a common cold...and not sending Natsuno to a larger hospital despite his objections. If it was the okiagari (more precisely shiki) then it'd explain everything, but he didn't want to even play it safe by putting out the agnostic card. Even after seeing what has happened like all their symptoms to the previous people that died that's happening to Natsuno, his father does nothing expect being a prick by lying the honest kids (who looked nothing like that pale creepy little girl) and throw away their stuff...I rather have someone who'd be an honest ass to me than be two-faced and take my gift only to throw it away. this is also a showing of how stupid people can get when their denial begins to melt away. they want to grasp their dumb ideals instead of looking at facts. ----- one of the very best ones. what really got to me was the part when toru was at the window and was still hesitating. it proved that he was such a pure character that even when evil took him over that pureness inside of him was still messing with it. that was really powerful to me. i'm so sad that yuuki bit it (no pun intended!). i really wanted him and the doctor to team up. if only he knew about the doctor and his blood transfusions...he could have survived if only for a bit longer. i was still sitting there not believing he was dead. ...he did have a point though. if vampire greeted humans at night and simply asked for some blood packets for the night, there would be no attacking needed. i'm sure that could work out, maybe not for long but still. love the ED the most. the last part showing yuuki and toru was really powerful to me (although the pureness of toru is officially dead now). the OP showed that ugly dude, who i completely forgot about lol. |

| New OP is alright, not as good as the first one though. Liking where this is headed though, really good episode showing the relationship between Tohru and Natsuno. Seems the mother has been bitten aswell, surprised Natsuno or the father didn't catch on already. |

| While I hate the dad's decision, it is actually completely logical. He has his own ideals and doesn't change the at the drop of a hat. He has his own personality, and clearly hates people who try to mess with him in a way he doesn't understand. So kicking them out and deceiving them was a logical stance. |

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what Natsuon is doing. Sure, if you want to have your friend survive by sacrificing yourself, then I'm good with it, but don't say things like "I will surely leave this village and go to a big city". Natsuno's father was just completely and utterly irrational in this episode, and not even a type of irrationality that could be seen to make sense: he's been shown to be sceptical of superstition, sure, but to the degree shown here? And then he just dismisses his son saying he's having trouble breathing as a psychological issue? Fucking what? And the guy just straight up forgetting that Megumi was dead was hilarious for how absurdly dumb it was. |

| First episode of Fall 2010, and THEY AIN’T MAKING ME FEEL BAD FOR THE VAMPIRES! The only good vampire is a monogatari one or a dead one! I will die on this hill at least in regards to this anime lol, I do not care that they are forced to eat people or they die, well you know what, maybe they should die lol, monsters like this needn’t exist, there’s a reason they’re weak to the things they’re weak to, they’re not meant for this world, and the worst part is I can just feel a bad ending coming, Natsuno is just letting himself get drank and his dad is a dumbass, yeah I understand his logic and realistically he would be right, but it looks like his wife is being drank before his eyes and he’s not even noticing, and based on next episode’s preview he’s next, so yeah RIP Natsuno’s family, y’all had a chance but Natsuno’s intelligence was nerfed due to his past friendship with Tohru, a shame. And then there went Kaori’s dad, bro was like “oh hey Megumi- wait… that girl died!” lmao, that was hilarious, RIP tho, poor Kaori. I’d like to hope that the vampires will be struck back against but I can also see this having a very unsatisfying ending. And oh yeah, there’s a new OP and ED this episode, I like the OP but I’m ngl it doesn't hit near as hard as the first lol, but the same group of the first OP Buck-Tick is doing the ED at least and I like it a lot. |

Rip Natsuno. Hopefully his parents aren't far behind. I have zero sympathy for those two. Also it looks like they already got the mom? When did that happen? And why is the dad fine? 💀 Someone crawled through his bedroom window in the middle of the night and bit his wife, and he didn't even notice XD |

The most toxic mom and dad in anime is Yuuki's parents, so frustrating to see his father makes tanaka effort to protect Yuuki in vain.
| @jumbosan He is actively making things worse for Natsuno, and omg it is frustrating to watch. He's purposefully unlocking the doors at night despite them being locked to begin with, he left Natsuno's window open, he refused to go to the doctor because he's from the country (dude what 💀), and he threw away all that stuff that his friends brought him. I get that maybe he doesn't believe charms will help, but like wtf he didn't have to just throw them away, and why tf is he leaving everything open and unlocked. I get that there's supposedly "no crime" but omg how is this guy this stupid. |
