| Totally saw Nia being the daughter coming since the king looked pretty human. Yoko and Simon mourning Kamina...I know how they fill. The "you were supposed to repay me" line put a hole in my heart. Nia seems really good for Simon. And as much as I liked Kamina/Yoko, I can't wait to see the things Yoko will do on her own. Kamina and Yoko have been my favorites so far, and now it's just Yoko. Hopefully the show will carry on Kamina in its spirit. |
| Simon's mood felt a tad overplayed for my taste, but overall the show is grabbing my interest more than it was before. Nia has promise as a character. I knew something was off about her when I saw those eyes, though I didn't expect her to be the daughter of the Spiral King. Not bad, not bad at all. TTGL needed a wake up call like this. |

| Kamina isn't in the OP anymore. :( the show feels very different without Kamina. It's gonna take a while for me to get over his death. The meeting between Simon and Nia was really cute. Also Nia is fucking adorable! I love her design! I wonder what with her eyes though. They are very different from a regular human. Didn't expect her to be the Spiral King's daughter. Also the Spiral King looks human. I didn't see any animal characteristic. Is Nia really human? I hope she does turn traitor at some point since she's the Spiral King's daughter. I definitely want Simon x Nia. I think she'll be one to bring back Simon to his regular self. Great episode. |
| So, Simon is still mourning, which is understandable. I'm sure he'll get through it somehow. So far merely slapping him worked, but maybe now that wouldn't cut it. Also, I like Nia so far (). Hopefully she's not just a love interest for Simon. |

| Poor Simon, I wish he would stop mourning and concentrate on kicking some ass. I liked his attitude in this episode though, he seemed like more of a badass. Nia is pretty cute, although I have to agree on Yoko, what the hell did they do to her face? The animation was a bit off I guess. Great episode though! |

| Kamina is still dead. Simon is desperate of course but he found magically a girl named Nia. And surprisingly Nia is Spiral King's daughter. Also Simon's drill seems to be a very special key, like a lost key from the Spiral king. Btw first appearance of the Spiral king. |

| It's so sad to see other characters be sad about Aniki's death :( I'm not used to Simon being all sulky Interesting how Simon just happened to stumble upon the daughter of the spiral king. I wonder why she was out in that case. Better episode than others, imo |

| Simon took Kamina's fighting words a bit too literally to the point of overloading with energy that left a bad taste in Lagann's mouth-hole. Bro could've punched him in the face if he was there lol. Yoko wants ta get laid but it was Bro who got laid ta rest forever... A new companion joins the party! And it's the Spiral King's daughter~ (her golden sparkly attire made it obvious) She's so adorable yet she can stand on her own. She even got her own Kamina line :3 "Are you aware of who I am?!" |

| Kamina confirmed dead :( He has also been replaced in the opening by Nia. Simon is in a very dark place, depression as bad as it gets, hopefully he can snap out of it soon, he needs to save the world. Yoko is doing her best to overcome the grief and sadness of the loss. Random girl appears and happens to be the daughter of the enemy leader lol. Things will get very interesting from now on. |

| It was a mistake that I put this anime on hold more than a year ago. Nia > Kamina. She's cute and far less annoying. Also seems to have a much more interesting story to tell. Kamina's death was necessary for Simons growth as a character too so I'm happy he was killed off earlyish. Also Simon x Nia > Simon x Yoko. For some reason my eyes were slightly watery as they looked so perfect. |

| Depressing. What a whirlwind of emotions Kamina's death caused for our heroes. Aaand we are introduced to a daughter of the spiral king (did anyone notice that she took Kamina's place next to Simon in the OP?), the king himself and his generals. Things are getting even more interesting. Is the king human? Did he actually create the beastmen? They're calling him their creator, after all. Also, it looks like the mega-gurren changed its color to red (it was pale blue). P.S. Why didn't we see anything resembling Kamina's funeral? What did they do to the body? |

| Show is going downhill after kamina's loss. He was a factor that made show fun. Now it seems like samey tropes we've seen so many times. Also no fun only serious. Hope they doesn't revive him out of nowhere. |
