| I would say this episode has the best 1 minute close-up I have ever seen for a long long time. Tears never stopped flowing from that moment until the end of the episode. |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

They were so adorable together, nice to have such sweet childhood memories. Miy childhood memories were few and far between, mostly because I moved alot. I was so fucking happy for Renge when she got a friend her own age :D |

| I think Renge is my favorite character, I just can't help but laugh/smile every time she does or say something with that serious face all of the time. Aww I had such a hard time watching her tear up when Honoka left, that really felt like a cheap shot. |

| This one was a truly 10/10 episode. Touching, cute and fun to watch. Couldn't ask for more out of a sol. |

| Thanks for pointing out Persona 4: The Animation. Indeed, it has an excellent watermelon scene. Even so, I think that my initial claim is correct. The characters in P4 did not actually cut open the watermelon with a knife. On the other hand, they didn't smash it open either. You can see the relevant scene at 21:00 in Episode 13. Here is some of the dialog: "Man, I'm going to smash mine open!" "Wait. We aren't smashing it?" "I want to smash MINE open!" "Juice everywhere. Smiles on everyone's face." "Sorry about that. I got the pre-sliced one. It just seemed easier." "Don't worry about it. We'll get one and smash it open later." "I think that's something we can do at the beach together." So, I'll reiterate my initial assertion that Kazuho Miyauchi, the sleepy teacher, is the first character in the history of anime ever to cut open a watermelon with a knife as opposed to smashing it, shooting it or buying a pre-sliced one. |

| O' sht im gonna cry *Ahem* I really, really love the art style (for the backgrounds) in this anime- the scenery in this episode brought it out quite spectacularly. |
| This was one of the cutest episodes yet. I was grinning so hard when Ren-chon opened the envelope and it was the picture of her and Honoka together. ^_^ (Actually I'm still slightly grinning now...my sides are starting to ache...) The part with Hikage the city girl was funny as well, I hope there's more of her in future episodes, she'd be a nice addition to the group. And of course, I continue to love the art and animation in this series. The fan, the water wheel, all the greenery...so pleasant to look at. Definitely enjoying this series so far, I may just bump it up to an 8 if it continues. Aw heck, I'll just do it now. :D |

| Poor Natsumi with the bitter taste of reality. Renge tearing up made me feel really sad for her :( I also loved the awesome animation with those beautiful scenery shots of the country side. |

| I think I fall in love with Ren-chon... when she was about to cry, it broke my heart. But she's still cute. Every single movement of her is beyond adorable. And she's cute without her twintails as well... I'm starting to dislike Hotaru. She thinks Komari is cute but she forgets that Renge is the cutest. How unforgivable. |
| That extended scene on Renge's face. Really incredible. Love this show. This is on par with Aria, Hidamari Sketch and other good SoL when it comes to giving off a calming and warm feeling. |

| Omg those feels when renge tears up,especially when she's usually emotionless. Other than that,the episode is filled with the usual funny moments:Renge accidentally taking a selfie for her first photo.The lighting effect when her photographer spirit got ignited and Natsumi's report card.(lol) |
