I'm currently a resident of VTuber hell and have been playing more games recently, so my anime viewing is fairly inconsistent and sparse nowadays, but what I've written below still holds true.

My interest in anime started in April 2013 when I got quite into Studio Ghibli films, my favourites to date being Porco Rosso and My Neighbour Totoro. However, the first anime series I properly watched was Attack on Titan season 1, which was in preparation for MCM London Comic-Con in October 2013. Some of the staff from the show would be doing a panel there so I figured I'd at least check it out. As it turned out, I loved it after watching all 25 episodes, and even though I didn't get to see the panel at the con, it was great to see all the cosplayers that were about! (I'm not as crazy about it nowadays but may finish watching it someday)

After this I decided to try out the anime society at my university, which, on top of being a generally awesome place to meet new people, introduced me to several more anime series that were new to me. I ended up enjoying pretty much all of them on some level, and the rest is history, really.

Currently my favourite genres are slice-of-life and comedy, though I also enjoy watching more serious shows. My anime 3x3: https://imgur.com/a/gzXNkaF

Aria is the prime example of a show that should be watched slowly to get the most out of it. And I also think that watching an episode now and then, even with some breaks in between, isn't all that bad for it either, making it a good anime to watch occasionally and next to others. Ahh, wish I could experience it again without knowing what is going to happen. But hey, there's more Yuru Camp and Non Non Biyori starting in less than one month, so iyashikei treats are already prepated =w=

3 times 3 might not be 100 mathematically, but in your case, the 3x3 is worth a full hundred in many other ways ^-^

That's fair, it looks like the animation is way better than before! Yeah you've hit the hammer on the head there, Dorehedero is quite insane but in a good way. I've rewatched Spirited Away recently it was so goood, I've been watching Ghibli films I've never seen like From Up On Poppy Hill which was quite lighthearted. I'll have to put Shirobako on my ptw list!! Yeah it was so good, it looks like the creator is still making the manga too so maybe we will get a second season at some point!

Surprised there even was a second season of Fruits Basket, will need to give that a watch. Not sure if this counts as this season but I've been watching Dorohedoro on Netflix which is quite crazy, and as they put most of the Ghibli movies on there I have been rewatching those! And ahh I remember Shirobako, I never finished it though, something I probably should as I love the ones surrounding publishing. Have you ever watched Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun?
