Prior to serialization, Kubo published a pilot chapter in December 2000. Weekly Shounen Jump debuted the manga the following August. After a 15-year run, Kubo ended the manga in August 2016. Shueisha published the 74th and final volume in November that year. Bleach has a cumulative 120 million copies of its compiled volumes in print worldwide. Studio Pierrot adapted the manga into a television anime that began airing in Fall 2004 and ended with 366 episodes in Winter 2012, covering the first 54 volumes. The manga also received two Jump Festa specials in June 2005 and March 2006, and four anime films in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010 December. VIZ Media acquired the series' master license in March 2006 and published the manga in English in its print edition of Shounen Jump magazine from November 2007 to March 2012. The manga simultaneously switched to the Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha digital anthology in January 2012. The company released the 74th and final volume in October 2018 and the 26th home video installment of the anime in September 2015. | Don't know if it is pre-animated but my god, the entire thing is just still frames with mouth moving and speedlines. There is like a one second scene at the end where Ichigo is trying to strike with the sword and the other one second scene of the hollows spitting that actual can be considered as "good animation". The director's last work was amazing but the same can't be said about all his previous works. the biggest win here is that Shiro Sagisu is returning and Number One still slaps and slaps hard. Let's see how this adaptation goes. |

I'll patiently wait till October is that means watching the return of Bleach 🙏 They also confirmed all the VAs from Bleach Brave Souls will return for the anime, which was obvious, but is nice they confirmed it. The only one they didn't reveal is Yama-jii's new VA, but I'm sure he'll be for the series too. To live in a world where Bleach anime is back... The waiting was worth it ;_; |

| Staff is decent, especially music composer Shiro Sagisu (Neon Genesis Evangelion) Director is the same one from Akudama Drive, I don't know any director on Pierrot better than him nowadays, as much as I would like Abe to return. No idea why he isn't involved with this project. |

He is literally returning to the series, so why would you not credit Bleach as one his works? You put "Bleach" for Kudou who did all the designs for the Bleach anime right before Sagisu. There's no difference between Kudou and Sagisu. They are both returning staff. Why this inconsistency in favor of Berserk and Gridman? |
