| Interesting thing I noticed . At the end of the episode Deku returns to the place where it all started , Dagoba Beach where he began his life as a hero . This mirrors Star Wars when Luke visits Yoda at Dagobah (similar name) to begin his training . Don't know if this was done on purpose but I think it's a neat comparison . |
| It was a good episode but it would have been better if half of the episode is not a recap, i like the ending theme but i don't know how i feel about op lol i guess it will grow on me, hopefully. |

| I am really glad that season 3 is released about a year after season 2 which was released about a year after season 1! Anyway, the opening is... FREAKING EPIC!!! It really manage to hype the audience! (me) The ending was also nice but man, the OP is just amazing! Besides the swimming training, every other part is reintroductions of the characters and some recaps from S1 and S2. It's alright... |

| Incredibly weak opening episode of a new season, recapping a bunch of old events in non-chronological order and with weak animation on the few new bits. Just felt like a hastily put together mess of an episode that would confuse me more than clear up things, had I not watched the previous 2 seasons. It also failed to set up for what's to come in the following episodes/story arc. Hopefully, next one will be better... |
I feel a little teary-eyed after hearing UVERworld do the OP song. I've been their fan ever since 2006 when I heard them sing Colors of the Heart for Blood+ and their songs are still used for Anime same with Porno Graffitti when I heard them do the OP song in the 1st season. Ahhh, memories... I finally caught up with the anime and soon the manga. Poor Kaminari and Mineta. Their bikini girls dream fell flat. At least, we got to see them in bikinis in their imagination. Better than nothing. I'm glad to see Todoroki joining them for some endurance training too. Most of the guys didn't even swim lol loved when Aikawa-sensei erased their quirks at the last swimming contest. |

| This is how every first episode of every sequel season should be. Flashbacks and bits and pieces of recaps done in a not-boring, interesting way while at the same time adding new scenes as to not make the entire episode a recap episode. Not everyone that are watching this recently finished marathoning the first two seasons and there are people like me who forgets more than half of an anime after finishing a season of it, gotta make room for more anime you know. Anyway, I'm pretty sute I've said this before but Bakugo is one annoying motherfucker his attitude I can tolerate mostly but this constant yelling is just grinding my ears. |

The first 2 seasons are necessary to understand the emotional state of the characters and where the main plot comes from (also they're pretty damn good). See them as the build-up to season 3 which is a sort of climax for the serie. |

Eventually, I checked the bhna filler list and found out that this episode was mostly filler. No wonder most of this episode didn't ring a bell. ...Not that I hated it or anything. | Pretty solid start of this season, even though I would see this kind of recap and summer episodes more like an additional ova rather than the start of the third season. But well it is still a pretty decent start and recap of the past seasons. Looking forwards to see what this season will have to offer for this series, and knowing there's already a fourth season announced I do wonder how it will end this time. |

| Damn have I missed Boku no Hero. Pretty calm start with a lot of recaps which was pretty nice as a reminder. As all the other OP's and ED's I also like the new ones. As a lot of people here mentioned, pretty catchy. Something definitely was weird when Mineta and Kaminari freely wanted to go to the school pool. Of course these 2 little perverts had something different in mind. So funny when Minetas ear got bigger and bigger when he heard what the girls were talking about. :D At least Deku asked everyone else of his class to come and so it became an interesting battle of who can be the fastest over 50 meters. Unfortunately when Deku, Bakugou and Todoroki wanted to start their final Aizawa interrupted them. Oh well maybe another time. We also saw glimpse of Shigaraki. Doesn't seem to good what he was talking about. He has definitely something planned. On to the next episode <3 |

| i don't know why people keep bitching about this being a recap. season 02 first episode was a recap too and you know, this anime isn't made for us, who download or stream the series, it's a freaking TV show. when a year between seasons has passed and assuming most of the audience are not that die hard fans of it, the recap helps the viewers to get back into the universe of the show and back on where the story had stopped. i've been marathoning the three seasons for the last week's now and yeah, it's a bit unnecessary to rewatch a resume all over again, but then again, it wasn't made for me. wait and see the same people making the same comments about season 04 first episode being a recap. and it is gonna be. also, i snorted when bakugou said it was freestyle when he won his race. HSGDJSISJSJSHDKWISHSI god, I miss free. ;; |

| How can you tell an animation team is tired? Beach/pool/swimsuit episode with flashbacks. That's the definition of tired. XD It was a lumpy ep but I can't believe they turned around and did another whole 25 eps for season 3. Thought for sure it'd only be one cour. Should I be pumped or is this effort going to be low energy compared to season 2? We shall see. |

| It's nice that they made a whole pool episode for the two page spread of the Class 1-A girls in their swimsuits in addition to the recap for the past 2 seasons. I haven't read the manga for years now and it's been a couple of months since I've watched the last season so it was pretty helpful. I'm surprised that the Summer Camp Arc's right at episode 2 already, wow~ Just looking at the opening makes me really excited to see Muscle and the others. |

They cucked us with that pool scene, not the first time they did lol where those 3 were about to go ham and destroy everything around them ( Sports festival ) Otherwise, the new OP is nice, its not as a good as Season 1 OPs where it shows the tension between Deku and Bakugo or just within the school in general, it seems this OP was more focused on the different enemies this time around. The song is nice though, I like it the most out of everything. ED song is meh same with the Comic Style, its ok. I personally like the last season one where they put Deku as a warrior hero instead LOL and Deku and Bakugo jumped up to start fighting some big boss at the end of it |

| Ah yes. Now we're on the best OP of them all. God I love this OP so much, so epic. Its funny how MHA gives us a recap of everything including quirks at the start of every season like we'd forget after a tiny bit lol. |

I am anticipating for Todoroki vs. Deku vs. Bakugo scene, but Mr. Aizawa interrupts the most awaited moment. HAHAHA. |

| A cool starting. But it was getting very interesting until Aizawa stopped everyone. Erasure Head is like a sniper but he is a great teacher. Next course is going to be amazing I hope. Mineta now have a pervert partner, Kaminari. Bakugo looks like in a good friendship with Kirishima. Tenya and Shouto are normal now. Things here quite settled down. |
| Wow, this animation is just... amazing. I feel like My Hero Academia has followed in AOT's footsteps; great s1 animation, amazing s2 animation and god-like s3 animation. It's a shame though that this episode feels like filler - I get that it's meant to brig you up to speed, but cmon this is the third season, people aren't going to start watching from here. Shigaraki looks as badass as ever and I'm excited to see what happens with his character. |
