| Interesting now background info with that Honoka girl and the guy that "summoned" her. I guess they'll bring some info on how the main got his powers. (Which he can't remember at the moment.) There must have happened something in the past with those 5 guys on the picture. I hope they aren't going to do an anime only ending. Should get another season maybe ... (and fully adapting) cause it seems interesting enough. |
| i find it hard to blame Honoka for even suggesting this game that turned out to be survival. claire said it best that powers aren't scary; people are. people could have used those powers for good, but they went greedy. there WILL be people who will use this power to subjugate others into sex and other forceful stuff. like that one frog guy that died pretty fast. this game didn't had to turn into survival. as for Madoka? he also went greedy. and I'm not talking of him stating he'll kill one of Shuuichi's group. no, I'm talking the one before that. the one where he told one of his nakama to chase their group. Honoka's naivete is what caused this survival game. she thinks people are inherently good (ughhh). oh well. the road to hell is paved with good intentions. but you know what? I find it hard to blame her because, well, "he who is without sin cast the first stone" right? and lastly I wonder if that skinny classmate girl of his (Mifuyu-chan iirc) will have something to play a role. she's been in the background for so long. |

| Shuuichi lost an opportunity to gain an ally. He didn't even ask that guy what he hoped for. He didn't seem to really care about Madoka only what he had to offer. If Shuuichi and the others could offer him what he wanted he wouldn't have wanted to kill Claire anymore. Though on the other hand the guy implied he's a bad guy but perhaps he's only being hard on himself which again is something that needed questioned. He was injured badly enough he seemed willing to talk. It seemed like a low blow to shoot someone in the back that possibly could have been reasoned with. The guy wasn't even so much of a threat to Claire because he seems to lack an ability that applies to fighting aside from being able to see without use of his eyes and he just happened to be a martial artist. Was that guy in the end the guy in the photo? He looked a little different so I couldn't quite tell but would make sense since Honoka was somehow part of him. I am thinking it's like Shuuichi's ability but being on the inside instead of outside perhaps. She probably either wanted to be one with him or to fill a void in him. Wait so the alien is immortal? Considering everyone was made to be more like the alien through the alien tech does that mean anyone who used a coin is immortal so long as they do not get killed? Or is it just a lesser version of the alien's morphing ability? Also I didn't mention this earlier but couldn't the girl that turns invisible go inside Shuuichi and turn him invisible? I mean when she turns invisible so do her clothes and Shuuichi in transformation is basically a mascot suit. Though he is a living thing not clothes so maybe that wouldn't work. |

| So much plot! I guess the real Shuichi is coming out more and more. Sometimes the entire character design changes and I can barely recognise the introverted kid from before. Him careing about his allies is at least a consistent charackter trait. This is getting really good and way more complex than I first imagined. The cause of his amnesia, the relationship to Claire's sis and his old crew, so many questions to be answered. |

| fuck Shuuichi and claire it's clear as day what kind of people they are with the former returning to what kind of person he was,dude just killed a person unwilling to fight in the back in cold blood despite hating the "mcs" there are a few more layers to this show that i'm interesting in seeing unfold if there good or not i can't say but the added twist of Honoka being tied to Shuuichi's past group of friends with one of them looking super like a final boss to come out with a stand that is Honoka herself in the end |

| Seeing Shuuichi killing someone is very good, he is starting to take action by himself instead of just waiting someone to drag him around like a pet. Also I think he knew from the beginning that doing things in this way will be better at the end but he couldn't stand the idea of killing someone for his ideals which is completly normal. |

| OMFG I'm so sure now that Shuichi and Elena, having been part of the original group to look for the coins, already found 100 coins and something terrible happened. Obviously it was something that Elena wanted Shuichi to forget and now she's trying to stop anyone from getting 100 coins again. Shuichi crossed a line this episode too when he decided to kill that guy. I wonder what this will mean for him going forward. |

| Yeah... I'm pretty sure that wasn't what Honoka wanted. It's kinda shitty to see such kind-hearted intention backfiring in such horrific way. So Madoka is actually dead, uh? Well, that a shame. I think his character could have offered more to the story. Anyways, good episode overall. In particular, I liked how the sense of tension was handled during the first half. Even though it was said that Madoka was dead, the idea of some of his followers still hunting Claire and co. made me feel like something really bad was about to happen so I give props to the studio for the well use of the atmosphere. Regarding story, Shuuichi and Claire are slowly starting to find a middle point in the seek of their goals so I guess they aren't that far away from the moment when they can finally "become one". In that regard, Shuuichi killing that katana dude in cold blood sure gave him a huge boost in terms of character development, which I highly appreciate. Also, I personally don't give two damns about that Abukawa dude but the revelation of Shuuichi and Claire indirectly killing him was a nice addition. At this point, the more Shuuichi gets in characterization, the better I guess. This said, it seems next episode will feature a few more flashbacks from Shuuichi's past with Elena, Honoka and those other people from the photo. Hopefully, next week will leave us with more answers than questions. |

| I wasn't a fan of the show at first, mostly because I found the idea of the flesh-costume disgusting. But the main reason why I gradually came to like it is Claire. Not just because she's a nice character on her own - Any FGO players here that noticed it too? She extremely resembles Suzuka Gozen imo. They share the same VA, have similar personality, look very similar and give off a similar vibe in general. And because Suzuka is one of my fav servants, I can't help but really like Claire. |

| Shuuichi getting darker and darker by the day. Although if anything its bringing him closer to Clare.I wonder what kind of mad fusion those two would have. This better get a second season, I feel we only scratching the surface of the story so far. |

| I think the Anime is doing a poor job of showing Shuichi's inner dialogue. There is a lot that is being left out. The manga is better but even the manga or story overall in the manga is just fine. Nothing super amazing. Just two more episodes left. |

| God dammit, we just met a new waifu and she's already dead... or so it seems because she is a stand now. What the hell did you do to end up like this, Honoka? Also, the idea to collect coins came from her... shit. I'm really surprised the gang of creeps were just a one arc thing. I expected them to be a constant threat to Shuichi's group as they said, but nope. Better for me, I wasn't a big fan of them and at least this left an important development for Shuichi. |

| Big reveal there on how the game started with Honoka and her friend group being the first ones I guess and most likely the same people as the forgotten cram school buddies of Shuuichi. So Shuuichi is finally becoming more coldblooded because of the promise with Claire, not sure if that is something good. |

| I did not expect Madoka dying so easily, props to Clair for thinking that marvelous plan. Nice reveals about the characters involved, we all knew Elena was friends with Shuichi and he somehow lost his memories, no there's this blondie dude and Honoka chick, there should be some major fights in the future. Loved how Shuichi shot that dude, he sure changed, don't really understand what does he wants from this game, can't they use a coin to regain his memories? |
