Incredible art style
Easily seems like this will have the best music of any anime this year

And that ending scene was absolutely beautiful.

The Nagi No Asukara creators truly seem to have chemistry together. This first episode way exceeded my expectations especially because I recall not liking the first episode of Nagi no Asukara either.

Kind of sad it takes place in 2018 and not in 2060

Hoping for 24 episodes

Only 13 episodes unfortunately..

So, this isn't the yuri version of "Back to the Future"... Just kidding, lol. Well, for now, everything looks quite promising, although for some reason I feel some Glassip's vibes.

In general, I really liked the first episode, although I learned very little from it about the series itself. Looking forward to the next.

Another mysterious original anime from PA Works. Looks decent though. Hope it will be as good as Nagi no Asukara, and not be as bad as Glasslip.

I really want to watch and love this show, but this possibility is turning me off and second guessing this. I love PA Works and their "feels" SOL, but I don't like time travel plots and what it leads to so I'm so conflicted.

This show has a lot of potential, and it looks wonderful, but I've been burned by PA Works before(I'm looking at you, HaruChika and Glasslip), so I'm waiting a few eps to see what happens.

When you mix the art and animation of Nagi no Asukara and the story of Tsuki no Kirei, you get this wonderful piece of work that's quite unusual.

For now, everything is quite the production, only elephant is the original story and the characters settings.

Wow, such stunning visuals, and the final part when she can see the colors was so beautiful. The plot looks very interesting, I really like the main character and the others seems likeable too, the only thing that worries me is that the guy could be her grandfather, please don't, I wouldn't like that drama.

Glad I am not the only one that noticed. Cause I feel like they kinda shortcut the explanation on how that time travel works. For example in Haruhi and S;G dodged the bullet of the butterfly effect, by using alternate world lines, but I haven't seen anything of that sort here so far. ^_^

The art is fantastic for sure. The main character is being passive and drama is definitely going to be appear later in the stories. Let's hope they can maintain the balance and not make this show either too boring or too overly dramatic

That was so beautiful, I'm going to watch it again tomorrow!

I love the atmosphere, the music, the visuals. Dewa Yoshiaki's compositions are very fitting, and magical when the scene needs it. I'm surprised Higashiji Kazuki isn't a part of this, given his wonderful art direction and backgrounds in other PA Works' originals. Even without him though, the backgrounds shown so far has been no less beautiful than his works.

As for the story and characters so far, I like them all. All of the kids seem rather normal, aside from Hitomi, but we've been given a bit of background information regarding why she's this way. She's not completely emotionless, as we were able to see her smile and spin around when she was able to see colors again. That scene was really magical, I couldn't help smiling with her and feeling at total peace. It was funny though when Aoi asked, "who are you?" And Hitomi stops with her arms spread wide, realizing that she's right in front of him. I'm glad despite seeing Hitomi really down the whole time, we are still able to get some comedy.

Like a lot of people here, I also hope that this won't go down the path of Glasslip. However, I also feel like that won't happen. Glasslip ended up terrible because it introduced some random element into the story that pretty much didn't make any sense. Here, we've most likely gotten all the magical stuff introduced in the episode, so in that sense, I don't think it'll end up badly. It may, however, end like NagiAsu, in which I know a lot of people disliked the ending. I love NagiAsu, it was a wonderful series that I still can't get over, and I feel the same excitement watching the first episode of Irozuku as I did when I watched NagiAsu. Hopefully this is a good thing :)

Really looking forward to character relationships develop, as well as Hitomi's character growth. Also, can't wait to see the OP and ED, as well as hearing the ED song by yanagi nagi.

Normally I don't go for these kind of anime but I was really captivated by this. The atmosphere and visuals really took me away thus allowing me to immerse myself in every second of the presentation. The story seems rather ambiguous at the moment, especially since we are mixing time travel and magic. But I'm ineresting. So I do believe I'm going to stick with it.
Don't believe the hype.

What i meant when i said that i have a very bad feeling about this is that i really dont like, i hate tragedy endings in romance anime, and well, romance + time travel ... that usually dosent end well for the romance part, thats what i meant.

What this gentleman here said.

Like many people before the worry is about this becoming more like Glasslip and less like HanaIro, with my biggest fear being that the whole time travel stuff fucks up some stuff with her falling in love and potentially becoming her own grandmother or something like that.
I really hope it becomes as good as it looks in this first episode, because it has shown gigantic potential so far.

Throughout interacting with the others she'll get to develop her emotions and probably a love triangle will occur considering the odd number of people in the main cast.

Since we don't have Mari Okada, i'm hoping we will have way less drama than what we normally would get.

This is the kind of anime that takes me double the time to complete the episode because I keep pausing to screenshot the scenery, and I'm not complaining.

The first episode felt kind of slow, but I actually didn't mind it - it was quite relaxing. I'm not sure where this story is gonna go but I'm interested to see how it develops. Although, I didn't consider the fact that the artist guy could be her potential grandfather, and if that's the case, please don't let her fall in love with him or vice versa. I'm not about that weird stuff.

For a beautiful & colourful episode, that's quite a boring one. Mainly because of the the staff's decision to focus so much on the boring & passive protagonist. They shouldn't have focused on her too much, & maybe if her character finally developed in the future episode, then they can focus more on her.

The slow pacing was indeed quite nice. It gave us the chance to absorb the beautiful shots.

The colour palette definitely different & more colourful, and I can see some people might like it more than Evergarden's. But design details? Evergarden's were quite unparalleled & noticeably better than this anime. & this is coming from someone who disliked Evergarden.

No idea why this has romance, if Hitomi falls in love this can't end well for her considering she will probably go back to her own time...unless they go together or something.

Very solid start imo

Visually it's stunning as I'm sure we all here expected, but it looked even better than I thought it would lol....The OST is nice too even

What drew me to this series though was the premise because it just gives me a sense of curiosity because time travel is always a touchy subject and so seeing characters placed in situations like these have always interested me

The MC isn't a standout or anything, but I'm interested in seeing her journey and I liked the interactions that she had with those school kids as well as her family from the past

Definitely sticking with this all the way (I wonder if she's gonna fall for the dude with the digital sketch pad too....Man that'd be awkward if they do fall in love and she has to leave)

Very pretty episode. The backgrounds were very detailed and the use of color was good. Which of course plays into Hitomi not being able to see color. Leads me to wonder why exactly, but also why Aoi's drawings kept their color. I wonder if there will be a magic related canonical reason.

It was also very abrupt how in the beginning the granny just shows up and sends her to the past out of the blue. I'm sure all will be revealed in time. I hope it's done well.

Interesting anime...

1.So, Granny just sends you back in time...what?
2. Time, and magic aside, this is going to be an anime about growing up. The sort of show I wished I saw as a teenager/liked watching as a teenager...and I am 38 years old now...
3.Strong start...we'll see how it goes.

Fall 2018 is looking finger licking good.

Art and animation is gorgeous and all, but I'm just glad theres a distinct lack of pandering or fanservice in this episode. Like, there aren't any tropey anime romance cliches like accidental boob grabs, blushing at first sight, awkward sexual tension, or any of that bullshit that are often in first episodes of these type of anime.

Its possible that stuff can still happen since this is only the first episode, but the fact that they passed up the perfect opportunity for a perverted moment when she initially lands in the bedroom tells me its not gonna be 'that' type of show.

Interesting and visually stunning anime. I'm pretty intrigued with the story so far so we'll see how it goes from here.
"You talk too much. Think too much."

"If you're not going to be nice to me, don't expect me to be nice to you."
"I'm a soldier, not a superhero. Don't ever think of me as one."
"The world doesn't revolve around you. Get that through your thick skull."
"People who live by their emotions go nowhere in their lives. They only find misery.
