| Dat Critical Hit, that's so cute haha this series really good for relieving my stress, i just realized that this series has great taste for choosing ED song, after chiisana koi no uta(mongol88) ,then Ai uta(GreeeeN) and both of it was sung pretty well by Rie Takahashi, and both song really fitted this series since both song were from great love/romantic drama and live-action( DaiPro and Strobe-Edge) |

| It was definitely a critical hit, Nishikata took his biggest step to embarrass Takagi San and didn't notice. The painting scene is beautiful, and the cat scene made me laugh (I tried and that trick if it works). |

| Great episode. The teases were good, but the ending, that was a critical hit in many ways, heartwarming to see such a single remark hit home in such a cute way. |

| Nishikata is getting caught off guard by Takagi lately even with cats she still can tease him without his control In that art class as well I thought Nishikata had touched Takagi with his odd sketch but Takagi has beaten Nishikata by a landslide with that added blush that was hilarious to see Nishikata is like an open book with his reactions just by Takagi asking him his crush, That ending was just- it hits the spot a critical hit indeed. |

| That cat looks hella fluffy. Aye Nishikata finally won against Takagi-san in something! The dense headed Nishikata finally realises that Takagi 'might' (which basically means does) have a crush on him, and he might have a crush on her too! :P The GBA Pokémon game scene was really amazing. Dayummm!!!! Nishikata sure did hit a critical hit after all!!! The cuteness was just too much. Kinda made me and my bummed ass feel lonely lol :') |

| That's pretty rare actually, an all-you-can-pet cat. Most cats would probably bite your hand off once they've had their fill of petting. Now onto our boy nishikata, does this dude really have to get embarrassed by EVERYthing? It's alright if you like cats dude, no one's going to kill you or even tease you just for that. At least he did give in in the end and went for it. The conversation though about "types" ended hilariously tho As for the portraits... dude nishikata kind of a dick man, he really had to do that? If it were any other girl that would've been pretty mean, but teasing master takagi-san knows what's going on in his head and is unfazed as per usual. Girl is like twenty years ahead mentally of this kid. At least he admitted it to himself thinking "did I go too far" but he didn't actually verbally apologize out loud. Then again, takagi-san is basically in his head so he probably doesn't have to say a word. Still is a dick for not apologizing though. And yeah, in a calm innocent anime like this, it is fair to stress about the little things. Dang, something significant happened in this episode. It's just a small thing but it's so much more powerful since it happens in this anime which is episodic in nature. And even if you are someone who was starting to tune out, it's just enough to keep you going. Who knew that in a cute little innocent anime like this, one little line would carry so much weight. Dude took it back like 10 seconds afterward after he sort of subconsciously said it, but at least it came out, he verbally said what he was feeling. |

| After all such hardwork Nishikata went through, all that nonstop teasing from Takagi, finally he scored against her. Well the thing is he doesn't know it himself though, that even Takagi can get flustered. Really sweet indeed. |

| It's as I thought: the spin-offs dedicated to Mina, Sanae and Yukari, are covered in this anime. Episode that in the light of what I know now, compared to those who saw it in the year 2018, did not take for granted that there would be a Takagi défaillance, but that it was very possible when the anime was out in 2018. Episode very enjoyable, even if Nishikata is hands in hair, even for those who no longer have it. XD Excellent narration during the squabbles of Takagi and Nishikata and during the curtains in which Mina, Sanae and Yukari appeared. The new ending is very nice. |

| Another viewer and I were discussing the Critical Hit scene and discovered we had very different interpretations of how the scene ended. One interpretation was that Takagi was overjoyed that Nishikata said he had chosen to walk home with her instead of playing video games with his friends. The other was that Takagi was having a moment of clarity about how she treats Nishikata that would lead to his outburst about how it was supposed to be his day to score a critical hit followed by him storming off frustrated. Either would qualify as the critical hit Nishikata didn't realize he had scored, and Takagi's facial expression after he leaves could fit either interpretation, yet they're almost complete opposites. |

| damn, his first win happened sooner than expected, and the ending... wow. He straight up told her those words and didn't notice until it became too late. Her reaction... almost thought she was going to cry for happiness, not gonna lie. (when i was almost thinking Sanae liked people like Kondo from Gintama, the discussion was about dogs instead of boys.) |
