She is starting to show affection towards him and if the worst comes she will be his shield. I'm pretty sure that you are wrong on pretty much all of your points here. All Jasley did was provide Iok with the information on the Turbines (bases, trade routes, etc). Did you miss the entire conversation where McGillis was talking about Iok taking illegal weapons from the warehouse? Iok obviously planted the weapon during one of the Arianrhod "inspections." I'm also not sure why you would believe that everybody calling out Iok for murdering unarmed civilians along with a ship that had already surrendered makes him worthy of anything. As for Julietta, it's a tougher call since it was not explicitly stated as the above was, it should have been obvious that she the relief that she was feeling was due to Amida being killed by the Dainsleff, not that Amida failed to kill Iok. Just prior to that line, she had been asking why she was not able to defeat or even seriously threaten Amida even though she had the superior machine. She has also stated (in this episode as well), that she cares nothing about Iok or his plans. Serving Rustal is the only reason she has done anything at all in the series so far. |

I can't believe Naze and Amida are gone...let alone all the innocent girls Iok also got killed. This was the most heartbreaking episode I've seen of Iron Blooded Orphans, even more so then Biscuit's death. I guess this is where all my favorite characters start dying huh D; Best episode of the series so far but god damn it was painful |

As superb as this episode was, this still sucks balls man. My hopes were there towards the end that Iok will finally either get headshot by Amida or crushed by the Hammerhead, but the idiot bastard lives another day. Yea, the guy'll prolly die(he'd better),but it should've been the Turbines' kill ~ Mika got plenty. Maybe Lafter will be the one to take him out or something... |

I can't believe Iok is still alive. He and his crew are definitely one of the weakest arcs of this anime. Their motivation to fight is so silly and even though they survive and the best character dies. I knew that Naze would die because of Orga. Obviously he didn't do it on purpose but it was because of tekkadan that they got involved in this mess The last thing I wanna see after his death is a romance arc. And according to the preview they decided to focus in akihiro and lafter. I wonder why they never developed Eugene and Shino's background. I know nothing about them =/ |

I have never wanted to tell someone to fuck off and kill themselves more than I did with Pjiok this episode. Fuck this guy. Fuck him and all of his shitty talk of lordliness and honor - what sort of heroic figure deliberately shoots at non-combatants, let alone transports with women and children from an enemy force that is willing to surrender! What sort of bastard talks of greatness and then HIDES BEHIND HIS FUCKING CHAIR when danger comes his way? Amida and Naze were two characters I greatly admired. It's not often you see a male character with a harem where it actually feels like a healthy and consensual arrangement made between mature adults, but damned if I don't feel like what Naze and his family had was just that. To me, this was the emotional core of the show as much as Tekkadan itself, and I am so fucking pissed at Pjiok for ruining it all for the sake of his own petty bullshit revenge fantasies. Seriously, I don't care which character does it, just please, someone needs to make this fucker suffer. I want Ein or Mika to tear out the plate of his mobile suit, grab his lordly ass and squish it Kaworu-style. I want to see him lose so spectacularly that he'll lose that blustering bullshit attitude and go find the nearest airlock to kill himself with. I really fucking hate this little shit, wow. :/ Btw, I would pay good money for a spin-off about his and Amida's misadventures in that flashback they had. That sounds like a much cooler idea for a harem series than whatever highschool LN bullshit is on this season. :/ |

Totally skipped last week's episode because I know what's gonna happen.. but.. damn this episode still effing hurts to watch.. also, glad to see Amida lessoning the shit out of Julietta, even with the new Julia.. another lesson learned from our resident shitlord Iok: If ur gonna arrest someone for possessing an illegal weapon, use the said illegal weapon to capture them too.. GOD I never wanted a character to be vaporized into every bits and pieces so mucha as Iok!! I said it numerous times, but I'll say it 'til it happens.. Just DIE already!! |

Iok is a product of his society. Just look at Rustal or McGillis. Not that that justifies his actions or anything, but it certainly explains them. On top of that, he's not really the brightest guy. He doesn't understand how the game is played, so he just fumbles along with his misguided idea of honor and everything. As someone relatively independent, e.g. a group in Teiwaz, or even a mercenary on his own, he wouldn't be so bad. Either he would die early (or at least be reduced to a beggar on Mars or something like that), or he would show that his ideas (of honour, sacrifice etc., not those that he has due Rustal et. al. showing him how it's done and misunderstanding the point they made) can actually work. This way, it's like you give an ape a loaded pistol. He clearly doesn't understand what he's doing and is a danger to everyone, including himself, but thats also why you can't simply take his toy away. That the likes of Rustal still think of him as useful doesn't help, either of course. |

This was probably the saddest episode in both season :/ I can't believe Naze & Amida are dead... RIP Naze & Amida, you did great protecting your family. We won't forget you older brother <3 The most hated character in Gundam... Iok, i can't wait to see you dead!!! You stupid kid. Can't wait to see Tekkadan killing him. At least Akihiro & his squad came in time. But it's still sad, i can't believe Naze is dead :( Can't wait for revenge! R.I.P <3 |

I really just hate Iok because he's a completely worthless idiot and he needs to have his cockpit impaled/blown up already. People complained about Ein but I found him endearing with his continuous gushing over Crank senpai. Iok isn't likeable at all, worthless and just needs to die. |

I was never really a big fan of Naze, but I still cried. Him and Amida had such powerful lines in this episode, plus their backstory in the previous, and to see some of the innocent women he saved slaughtered...terrible. I really though Iok was finally going to die as the end too :/ |

Iok refusing to go to battle bridge was some foreshadowing. I wish Amida's final blow to the fleet would've done more than just shatter Iok's windows. Lafter wants to "strangle" Akihiro um |

Damn man. Fuck Iok so much. How the hell did his dad let such an idiot become the head of one of the Seven Stars. You would think he would do absolutely everything in his power to have another son after realizing how much of a jackass Iok is. Killing all those innocent women and just thinking that they probably had their babies on board with them.. :/ The scene at the end with everyone grieving really hit me. |

Damn Ninjas cutting onions again. Goodbye sweet prince of harems, your achievement will live in our hearts. Goodbye to the sexy dark Amazon as well. a hell of a fighter and a hell of a woman. Iok has stepped up from being an annoying idiot to just plain despicable evil now by trying to kill innocent people and people trying to surrender. Don't know if Naze managed to get him since from the moment he refused lowering the bridge i thought that it may mean that Naze is gonna take him with him but if he is still alive i hope one of the surviving girls like Lafter and Anzee get his ass. They deserve the satisfaction of killing that asshole after what he did to their family. I expect another preparation episode next week and then all hell will break loose after that with the conflict increasing. Now Orga will really be out for blood against that damn fleet. JizzyHitler said: -chronos said: he literally just slaughtered a bunch of civilians and rescued sex slaves IN ADDITION to their kids that that he framed using illegal means for the sole purpouse of revenge on people that wasnt even them. Hes far more evil than most of the villains in this show. Nazes division was just a shipping company. Kjeldoran said: YES!!!! Long live Lord Iok, you sexy bastard! Hope that plot armor keeps him alive a while longer. I think the usual pattern is, Iok will die not from a blaze of glory, but a stray bullet, or maybe tripping and falling... That's hilarious. I don't know why people hate on him, he's not actually evil, just really really stupid. A comic relief character in a drama show. He was a comedy relief jobber before this ep, not anymore now hes actually a corrupt monster. Indeed but you know what makes him even more hated? The fact that despite being this horrible human being he is still a moron. So he did all this damage while being the idiot that he is and that annoys people even more because a really big villain sometimes can be likeable to a viewer even though he is a horrible monster. Despite that villain being so horrible if he is just awesomely evil you kind of like him for doing the role he is suppose to do so well. But in the case of Iok he is a blabbering fool that is also a complete asshole that kills people surrendering and civilian women etc. You just can't appreciate him as a monstrous villain because he is just a stupid imbecile. That makes him more annoying that even really horrible monstrous villains. He is the kind of idiot that doesn't even realize how horrible he is. For example villains that go after non combatant women and children instead of the main heroes etc are usually quite low villains that get little appreciation. But at least such villain have self knowledge on how horrible they are when they act like that. Look at the guy from Hellsing Ultimate. He made London a slaughter house, he was absolutely despicable and only wanted to see battle and suffering(and even he didn't just go after innocent, innocent civilians were just casualties of war to him he was still attacking the main guys). You can't get more horrible but he knew very well he was a horrible monster and basked in the glory of it and that kind of made you appreciate how amazing at being monstrous he was. This moron though? It feels like he is as horrible by stupidity. You just can't appreciate him as a character and just want him out of your screen. |

Arawaj said: The worst episode so far. It was so bad, that i decided to write about some weak points. For me: - Naze defense was unbelievable weak. How did he protected all 50 000 girls till now? It's so obvious that 50k women in one place is tempting and all pirates would attack Turbines base only for capture its residents. - Their base was in asteroid. Why they didn't hide behind asteroid during escape? If they do, nobody could shot down their ships. What a smart move Naze. - Why they didn't protect themselves with diplomacy? Tekkadan did it when they found machines on Mars. They could be accused of owning illegal items too. - He could use voice chat to tell that they are women on transport ships. I bet even Iok didn't shot them it that case(I hope because he is sometimes so stupid). - Why Tekkadan did literally nothing? They are known for not obey orders which are nonmoral and they are protecting citizens, so they certainly would defend women (Just remember when they protected cities on Mars during awakening of that ancient machine). From when they like to obey corporations? In addition normally Orga would go to help Naze, he admired him so much. - Naze idea about being accused himself for illegal weapon trading would be done without so much sacrifice from his companions. He could just go alone to Galanhorn. I bet when they found that illegal weapon, Galanhorn was in Turbines base or ship, so why now they planned to blow up all place without talk? It's look like Turbines begged for death. If they couldn't talk with Galanhorn's main base because of distance, Tekkadan(Mikazuki) could kill Iok with all his ships and nobody could knew about it. This episode had so poor direction that it's look like was wrote by total amateur. Keynote: "Naze must die. How it will be done is doesn't matter." I wonder what will girls do. After death of his husband they should feel terrible(if they really loved Naze). He rescued them from their bad fate and many of them had children with him. On top of that he sacrificed himself for their escape. Double salvage. -Naze was part of a big organization remember? Hitting him meant fight them too. Only Gjallahorn can attack like that and not be afraid because it is the biggest military power. Because of that power the old man had to fake that he has no relation with Naze as to not have Gjallahorn on his ass too. But he wouldn't do that with stupid space pirates etc and they know that too. Also because of that power Naze chose to not prepare any big resistance and just surrender since a battle wouldn't turn favourably for him so the very little resistance was also because they chose to disband instead of fight. They weren't a fighting unit like Tekkadan but they sure could fight a lot more than that if they were willing to die fighting. -Pointless question, we aren't space experts to know how much they can get away by using that as cover etc or if it's impossible after some distance and all that. -They were set-up from the get go. So no sweet talk would have helped them since the ones after them set them up. Tekkadan got away with it because Chocolate man was notified by them and ended being there and he covered for them while covering his ass. -I think Iok didn't care and probably knew and Naze thought he knew since he had inside information of their routes and base etc. Those ships weren't fighting ships and they were retreating. So they were non combatant people and Iok still tried to kill them. Telling him they were women would have change much from the moment he was willing to kill people that weren't fighting him. Lstly most likely Iok didn't have comms open because he wanted to slaughter them. That is why Naze had to use flares to surrender. - I can't believe you are asking such a thing. Tekkadan fought hard to obtain the position they have and are about to get an even bigger one by getting administration of Mars. They can't afford throwing all of it away and starting from were they started and worse by being declared illegal and being chased by Gjallahorn again and this time without support ether because Teiwaz would give them no support if they did such a thing. - Again Iok wanted to kill them. Naze threw surrendering flares and Iok ignored them completely. Naze was going to him and yet he opened fire to kill him instead. He was gonna attack the base no matter what. If Naze knew where his fleet was and went to surrender to him it was still gonna be pointless because Iok will just say he killed the head of the criminals and was going to their base to arrest the rest of them and that they resisted and so he killed them. Is a little like our police. If they want to make an excuse and take everything and kill you they can find one. |

Monad said: Arawaj said: The worst episode so far. Read again what I wrote. I understand your explanation, but i don't agree with you - i still think the same about whole episode. Fake - because is common, when somebody want to deny others opinion just wrote that all of points are wrong - "because he/she thinks otherwise". I gave you very logical reasons too. Just because you have other opinion it doesn't mean that your reasons are valid. And yes, i don't want to debate, reading many mal discussions made me think that is not worth to. I simply posted how I think about episode, if you wanted to talk about it - sorry, i really gave up on mal users and have enough their "wisdom" (Please don't take it personally). |

Dammit I loved the Turbines! Naze was the best character. He and Soujiro from Log Horizon are actual great harem leaders. The whole point was that Naze genuinely cared for his girls and they loved him because he saved them and treated them as people first women second. He dies protecting them! I also feel like Naze was the only one who could save Orga from the dangerous path he keeps rushing down. Lof is such a stupid shit I hate him and Julietta! How did such an idiot even advance to such a position of power!? |

What the fuck? Why did Naze and Amida needlessly sacrifice their lives? They should have escaped. Amida could have, at least. Oh, well. RIP to the both of them. Naze had way too good of a life to keep on living. No one man should have that many sexy women in his life. I'll miss Amida. |

Edgelord at it's finest. The ep where I finally dropped this season. Edginess, mandatory (trope level repeat) forced tragedy and artificially created "feels" do not a good story make.. Nor do they save one from being trash. Wish the people over at Sun realized this a long time ago. (like ~15 years) It was... poor writing to say the least then, and is totally ridiculous, not to mention cringeworthy, now. This here though, it was more than just the normal gundam "tragedy in place of writing" that we usually get. This also hit on the anime/manga favorites of ****ing over any side characters that dare to try, or actually are in a relationship mid series, and the outright unforgivable taboo of having actual children while together.. (just think about this one, at first it might not seem like it but it's pretty much true. how many MC's, or even side characters have both parents.. a lot of times even alive!) But worst of all here was the harem. Something people never seem to pay attention to. Probably because of all the fake harem series and the fake harem genre. Which are nothing of the sort and don't try to be. It's an hilariously ironic name given that they usually end with less of a chance at any kind of relationship than even shounen series! But when they do, it's just the MC actually picking one of the girls.. (who is always the first girl in the group and clearly "the one" from the start.. with the other girls there just to draw people in, waste time and in a lot of cases cockblock the main couple till the end and beyond sometimes.) That's what was so great and cute about this here.. They had an actual happy, working harem family.. It's bullshit that it "had" to end how it did.. especially for all the poor girls who already went through so much in their lives before being saved. (one of the reasons I lol so hard at the people saying "good" out of some kind of dogmatic response to the word harem) But gundam.. no happiness allowed! Plus not even in hentai series are ~97% of authors willing to dare pull the trigger on allowing a true harem ending or anything even hinting at it being possible with MCs/heroes/good guys. There was almost no way Naze and co were going to be allowed to stay or end as such.. having at the very least triggered the "no relationship/children/family" tropes in the extreme! We've lost such great, fun characters.. Not to mention one of the greatest most interesting, fresh and unique parts of the series and story.. for what? Sorry, not eating the shit. ~2/10 |

Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. There's a difference between teaming up with someone because "you should think like him and deny who doesn't" and someone who just says that your answer was that of someone who doesn't acknowledge he is wrong It's clear to me now why "you got enough of Mal user's wisdom". So let me tell you one more thing that someone once told me on a forum: "Don't bother making a post like that if you don't want someone to counter you on a forum you partake in" |
