GAHAHAHAHA who needs good Sakuga or consistent schedules to make good anime? Jiggly Jiggly Heaven didn't need it, neither does KuuSure! xD
Jokes aside, I was really interested on the super cynical depoction of the industry this ep, I think I'd like to see Chitose's relationship with Kazuha and Momoka.
I really like Koto too

Really though, props to Davinci subs, they do the best job i've seen in subs in ages. It's not dumb like CR/Funi, and it doesn't butcher context by forcing proper grammar like most fansubbers seem to be doing these days.

I never get tired of Chi-chan lol, her over-inflated pride is so amusing.

Very impressive typesetting. Good episode, such a disaster of a production. But still the show must go on. Actually would be interesting if the anime just failed partway through. Has that ever happened? Getting canceled partway through a one cour season?

Thank you Davinci Subs for more of this glorious anime. I love this show too much for words. Anyways, this show basically told it like it is once again about the industry. It definitely opens my eyes into why we have so many bad anime nowadays. The producers are money grubbing asshats, only one person cares about the author and the voice actors have serious damage done to their prides. Also, the amount of resting bitch face in this episode was too damn high XD.

As for the "KuuSure" anime, am I the only one who feels like this episode just summed up how like 80% of A-1 Pictures productions go? XD
Don't believe the hype.

For people looking for adaptation disasters that is bad from ep1 but breeding a bunch of VAs, look up Negima anime. Not a LN adaptation though. That was a complete disrespect to the original manga, but the OP topped Oricon.

Considering the number of crappy LN adaptations, there might be similar cases elsewhere.

The first adaptation. Let alone the original butchering, the production value was bad from ep1:
https://myanimelist.net/anime/157/Mahou_Sensei_Negima

Well, there might be people who still enjoyed that, but it was treated as dark history by the Negima fandom of the time. That quality was also the reason why the later anime Negima!? existed and made by Shaft.

There was a movement to make the OP "Happy Material" to top Oricon, but it seems I memory is wrong, only went as far as 3rd position. Nonetheless it was a massive VA promotion, and it's very likely some VA are largely benifited by it despite the anime reception.

Thankfully just as I expected Chitose ended up learning hte wrong lesson from last episode.

She learned how to manipulate people and how to use her environment to better her own chances. It was not a humbling experience or the one that make her work harder. It made her more manipulative and success at that made her ego grow even more.

Now I am 99% sure she will end up throwing some of her colleagues under the bus for the sake of her own popularity by the end of this show, which is great.

Chitose is one of THE best leads this season.

Chitose is only concerned about her popularity, if things get really out of hand, and involved her, that gotta be hard for her to regain her own name! bwahahaha!

dude, serious kudos to the people subbing these episodes! you have my many, MANY thanks :"> it would be agonizing having to wait for the crunchyroll release every week... (i know, i know, first world problems lol)

maybe it's a pipe dream but i'm kind of hoping these three and chitose's brother get the hell out there and go off and join a legit company. or, have those two hacks fired and replaced with competent people lol.
...or it could just end with them somehow still half-assedly pulling everything off last minute right 'til the end and have that kind of "yup, that's what this industry is! :P sucks but what can ya do?" final message but that would kinda suck...

no no, chitose & gojou karasuma IS on a LEGIT company, they are working for number one production

where as kuzu-p (producer dude) is an anime producer of DDDP production

gojou is a manager of chitose who are responsible on handling her jobs, survivalability, & tracking, he might just a company cells to keep track on their actors

chitose is a voice actor & performer, that follows their manager orders or disagreeing to take a job

and whenever you work with somebody, if things doesn't go well, doesn't matter who or which faction are they on, somebody need to keep their project afloat

chitose & gojou did nothing wrong, they just work with a very wrong person in a very wrong position & doing bad work ethics & thinking they can get away with it

I find it award that the producer keeps getting Chitose's last name wrong in front of Gojou lol

What I find weird, is that Chitose and Gojou were actually related. Didn't hit till I watched this episode! I feel silly about it... It does explain why he's able to put up with her. He's just used to it.

Still, Chitose's fun to watch! I just like her selfish and arrogant personality...

The Negima manga has quite the history with me. The first "harem school life" theme was quite boring. It only started picking up after the first martial arts tournament. And the whole Magic World arc was superb. Though I do understand it has to do with the editorial department forcing their hand on the author, wanting him to go for a generic romance shounen manga at first...

On the same page, I'm quite torn about UQ Holder (the manga "sequel") getting an anime adaptation. Truthfully, the first few arcs were kinda meh, but it started picking up lately... Regardless, can't see how an anime adaptation would make it work. I just feel it wouldn't suit UQ Holder.

Koto being pissed off after the episode airing. The writer sitting depressed in his room and Chitose realizing the show is complete trash! All the while the producer pretends everything is going fine.

She did improve after the third episode, but her recordings of the first episode is still the crappy one she recorded at first. She might improve and become a great seiyu after the third episode, but at that point everyone would have stopped watching and the crap animation ruins it all anyway.

Great episode as always
But it looks like the anime is in big trouble because the managers clearly don't know how to make an anime. Something that Veterans like Momoka have already picked up.

Lol the scene in the beginning was cute
lol i knew that was a dream

Lol Chitose is a big fool
aptly put Momoka chan

Lol Chinose is reflecting

Hmm Chitose does have a lot of self confidence though
thats one of the good things about her
while others like Yae are nerve wracked about it she just takes it in stride

Veterans like Momoka have nothing to worry about it seems

Lol singing the full song instead of the tv size one is a massive difference

man that director just think's thing up randomly doesn't he

Lol who would have thought that Chitose will get nervous as well

Lol Yae spoling Chitose's intro

Man judging from the director's antics i think this anime is going to
be in trouble

Lol the audience isn't pleased that its just the PV and not the full episode
i know i will be

Well Chitose is pretty brazen to face the audience alone by stepping up
but without Mamoka and Kazuha backing her up things will be worst

The song part though was good
amd its nice to see the cast having fun
I love to be able to go to these events though

Its nice to see that Chitose, Yae and Koto are the best of friends now though
The veterans like Momoko and Kazuha seem pretty detached but its probably because
they're professional

Hmm judging from what happened in this episode the anime is in a bit of a
pinch
Thats why the author wasn't here as well
I think the veterans know this this as well

Its nice that the girls were able to enjoy the festival near the end though
Lol Chitose's wish though
Lol the cliche antic of hiding your mess inside the cupboard doesn't apply here

hmm so Seiyuu's live tweet for their animes eh

Man the anime that they worked so hard
is going to bomb despite the efforts of the seiyuu's best efforts
There's no coordination between the story writers and the animators and author
of the source material

Momoko and Kazuha seems to have picked that up already
and Man all Chitose cares about is getting popular

They need to get rid of this aspect of her personality
though

I still think Chitose is hilarious for being so cocky. It's refreshing and a change from the stereotypical "kya kya kya, yamete" type of MC. I like that she's such an asshole.

I'm guessing the animation quality of their anime series was bad? Like shitty bad. That's why they were disappointed?

I feel sorry for Gojou-kun but kudos to him for being a resilient manager even with a sister who assumes he's a siscon

Oh man, this anime stings. I feel so bad for them. These girls want to be a part of something good but they're being weighed down by half-assed work and folks who just want to make money or pass. I know how that is and it's just really disgusting. Now your name is on something that if you had your way with it, it'd be at least a little better, but nope... your name is on crap. And though I don't think the anime would have been all that great either, I do believe in making the anime right or not making it at all... because that's the author's baby as generic as it might seem. This was a kinda depressing, but I like this series for this.
I know a lot of people on MAL avoid anime with idols in them or even a little idol stuff in them, but I really hope they didn't pass this up. This is going to make me have a heavy heart. I definitely look forward to this anime.

Nope, it's going to win, riding purely on marketing, merchandise, a set and proven formula, excessive fanservice, and basically the producer's and Chi-chan's bluff.
