| It's the first episode, will not complain over the plot being simplistic or generic, but I think it fairly introduced us to the objective at "hands" ahah Anyway, fantastic martial arts coreography and animation, comedy was on spot. this is a must to my tastes! Will acquire the manga for sure. |
| the art style reminds me of divine gate and i dont like it at all. the plot is much like Kurokami with some martial arts and i have to say some jokes here are freaking old |

| Generic bad start, typical MC guy gets destroyed by the female mc, where have we seen this before? oh right just last season with Kabaneri and Hundred. Giving this 2 more episodes before dropping. |

| Super generic but in general this anime is on a good side. For one, it's MC isn't useless/brainless. As for the story, I remember reading the manga some time ago and I reached the newest released chapter so it wasn't that bad. Lastly the anime itself is well made and has this darkened graphics to it that I liked a lot. Then the fights looks really nice as well, generally the anime looks really nice. A good looking anime with okayish plot is definitely worth giving the chance. |
| Broke my expectations. Liked it a lot more than I anticipated. The MC is likable and not dumb nor useless. The action fight choreography is amazing and eyegasmic along with the beautiful animation and visuals. Ost and OP/ED are good too. Looking forward for more! Nice savage ending |

| I'll admit the fighting scenes were pretty awesome, but so far I'm not too impressed, it seems kind of generic and average for the moment. The humor felt forced too. |

| Some things that I've noticed about this TV series that has mortified me. I wouldn't be surprised if the CG backgrounds in most of the scenes were taken from Sketchup Warehouse models they're that bad. If you're going to use CG, at least put in some effort into more vibrant textures and variance. Faking animation by morphing character's hair, arms and legs just looks bad. Also, I'd be fine with the quick zoom effect if they actually processed the frames at that resolution. Does the following screenshot remind anyone of Mirai Nikki? Apart from that visual apperance rant, the story seems to have potential. The first episode was pretty fun and it was obviously intended to be comedic. The choreography in the fight scenes were great. Might not be too bad of a disaster in the end, but so far it's not looking too good. |

| I might as well state what I commented on Kissanime: I don't particularly think this anime has as much cliches as I think it would have, considering all the other animes that suffered from the abominable amount of cliches (example, Hundred, Asterick wars, etc.) Those animes kind of kept it that way and never dropped their cliches. this anime didn't really consist of much, thus making it very tolerable. I just hope they actually do something with the cliches, set it aside throughout the series, and actual get more profound with its story and so far, archetypal characters. Now the problem I may have with this series (which Kiznaiver faced the same) is its tonal dissonance/shifts. At the most serious and exhilirating scenes (example being the fight scene between the protagonist and the white haired girl) they just seem to drop that solemnity and try to be quirky and humerous, and it just falls flat because of that and feels really cringy. This may be the strongest reason for me to drop this series but either way, this anime is slightly below average so far. The animation was way beyond what I anticipated. As one stated, It's between nice and decent, however, sometimes the animation felt choppy and quite sluggish. The pacing of the fights and animation was very inconsistent. The CGI was quite poor as well. Overall, it has an okay start but I can very much see this series fall flat but I won't shit on it throughout its journey on becoming that. It still has potential but I believe it will be one of those animes that just don't grasp that potential. An okay episode so far, it's an average start. 3/5 |

| Couldn't stand the manga. The MC is the hero of justice type who let's bloodthirsty enemies go when he defeats them, then they come back a week later and slaughter all his friends. Hated it in manga form, doubt it will be different as an anime. |
| Was reading the manga, but stopped cause it was just really so cliche. Was surprised that it would get adaptation cause manga is pretty old and not so popular, but i think this manga is totally J.C.Staff's territory. Decided to try the anime and i think it's not that bad especially the CQC fight animation is really cool looking. Noticed some minor changes (probably for 1 cour format). The worst part for me is the comedy, feels really out of place and don't remember in manga it to be so annoying. |

| In spite of me still not being particularly drawn in by the gimmick as well as the grossly uninspiring exposition about the made up Asian country being at odds with the U.S., this episode was unusually easy for me to take in. The fight scenes felt better than most shit I've watched. Doubt I'll be hard-pressed to continue it week after week but, meh. Considering the fiddle I've seen coming this summer... |
| Interesting enough for a first episode. Also the names are interesting. Justice and Bluesy Fluesy. And I like her cute faces. His power activated in the last moment and is somewhat unique. Had to think of Touma's Imagine Breaker. I like that the MC is actually capable and not a pathetic wuss. |

| A pretty good start. Seigi is capable and is a very good fighter, so it's refreshing for a MC to be strong and reliable from the get-go. Despite that, he does have a hard time against Bluesy. The animation for the fights are well done and effective. CG animation could be smoother at times, but apart from that, it's fine by me. The story is pretty cliche, but it's still decent. However, I shall reserve my full judgement of the story once it starts to make progress. Judging it right now as it's only just getting started sounds harsh and unneeded. |
| Things went too fast for me to even care about anything that was happening: - The way MC got his power - The way he met that other girl - And finally, the way the overall events leading to the final scene of the episode unfold Even if this is how it was in the manga, it still felt rush. Frankly, I won’t bother checking the manga, if that’s indeed the case. Comedy wasn’t really that funny and it felt pretty awkward overall. For example, the scene in the beginning with the MC and the two crooks was pretty awful, imo. That scene went from what it seemed to be a serious scene to idiotic in a matter of seconds with the way the two crooks fled the scene after their beat down. The weird pacing-transitions and awkward comedy are a turn off for what turned out to be an average 1st episode. I’ll keep watching it for the time being to see where this goes though… I feel this series will end up a rush mess by the end of it (being supposedly 12 episodes doesn’t help it either**)…. | The episode was only ok. Plot development seemed a haphazardly thrown together and they forced 'cute' moments that were unneeded, but the fight scenes were animated dynamically. So while this show is quite generic, it seems fun enough to continue watching. |

| visuals were so nice. i really like that...dark setting but glowing characters thing they're doing. it reminds me of how JC did with railgun/index. very good for sci-fi anime. i'm really interested in the story so far. so yeah consider me hooked. | Okay seriously, what is with the sound design in this? These are some of the worst, most unfitting sound effects I've ever heard. Whenever someone gets kicked it sounds like someone stepping on a milk carton, and when that one guy got killed by Akatsuka it sounded like someone crushing some planks of wood! |

| The first episode was rushed, nonsensical and boring, but the fight scenes had some excellent direction. If the animation takes a hit in the next episode, there will be no point in watching. The manga readers in the thread are already saying it's not a very good series, so... |
