Taboo Tattoo

Overall, I thought it was a great anime, I especially liked the main premise of the show, with the tattoos and special abilities.

What I didn't like was the ending, which I'm not gonna spoil here, but I think they should have done it differently. What I mean by this is especially the final fight. You'll get what I mean when you watch it...

I would have given an 8 or even a 9 if they would have changed the ending, but ending the show like this, doesn't feel very satisfying and now I wish for a different ending!

But to end on a few good notes, I'd ... say that the visuals were very pleasing (except for the last episode) and that I never had the problem that I didn't want to continue watching the show, so I have to say that I enjoyed it.

Basically
The starting episodes from 1 to 5 was really good. But then the ending episodes just sucked pure and utter ass. The opening and ending songs are really awesome, since I discovered this anime through osu.
The anime started off with a strong beginning, strong buildup in episode 1, so it got you into the anime.
But then, from each episode to the next, you're absolutely lost, you have no idea what happened because they don't start from the scene from the previous episode but from a scene which is 3 days after that scene. The timeskip from episode 10 to episode 11 of 1 year was ... stupid.
The anime was rushed, the story wasn't allowed to develop since it didn't have the episodes needed to develop, it was too rushed. If developed properly, this anime would have been a great enjoyment to watch.
I also hated the fact that put in jokes within serious scenes, what is the point of that?
The ending episodes and their CGI animation, absolutely horrible.
A great start finishing with a terrible ending.

The worst anime I ever had the displeasure of watching.

Never had to witness a more poorly written and generic anime in all my years of watching anime. It makes you wonder if they just picked up a random person off the street and asked them to write something real quick. This show is generic, taken to the absolute extreme. Years later, I still randomly get reminded of this anime and how it robbed me of my time.

From basically the first to second episode, all you are thinking is, "Is this some prank on the industry? Can an anime really be this bad? Are they ... doing some money laundering with this by losing on purpose?" The anime also didn't age really well at all.

The CG animation at the end is just a final insult to everyone still watching. It felt like J.C Staff knew the source material is just bad and then went and put 0 effort into the show. Can't really blame them all that much. I would feel offended having to animate this too.

The whole virus story just makes no sense at all and of course isn't explained because the author didn't even think about it when making it. The story had so many loose ends.
