Taboo Tattoo

Overall, I thought it was a great anime, I especially liked the main premise of the show, with the tattoos and special abilities.

What I didn't like was the ending, which I'm not gonna spoil here, but I think they should have done it differently. What I mean by this is especially the final fight. You'll get what I mean when you watch it...

I would have given an 8 or even a 9 if they would have changed the ending, but ending the show like this, doesn't feel very satisfying and now I wish for a different ending!

But to end on a few good notes, I'd ... say that the visuals were very pleasing (except for the last episode) and that I never had the problem that I didn't want to continue watching the show, so I have to say that I enjoyed it.

Akatsuka, a middle school boy who magically received a tattoo from some person he randomly saved on the streets. (Was shown on episode 1)

This Anime was really interesting and was really different from all the other anime I've watched over the past couple of years. But, the problem is, is that it was way too rushed. 12 Episodes was surely not enough. If they where to extend it and explain the story in details and not rush it, it would've received a 10x better rating.

Regarding the "Comedy" in this anime, it was pretty pointless, since they implement it in the worst situations ever. They ... had the characters joke around when in combat and in a fight with their enemies. Which I find it to be mediocre.

Really sad to see an anime with a great idea and interesting story put to waste like this. This is pathetic. It had a great potential.

I hated all the characters. The interesting aspects of the characters were left unexplored.

The story was interesting. However, there's no real focus on the story. It's also one of those shows where people survive the most ridiculous events, when they clearly should have died. Then, later on someone will die from something far less lethal, not because it makes any sense but because the plot now demands it.

To be clear, I don't know anything about the source material; and, there are good points about the show. ... However, you shouldn't watch this unless you don't have anything else to watch and are desperate for something from this genre.
