Once again I expected them to reach way further than this. That was about 1 or 2 parts of chap2. They're really planning to adapt the whole volume in 12 eps aren't they? I'm so happy :D That volume can be perfect as a standalone series by itself.

Awesome that they took the time to explain the barrier in detail and ofc the important hints for future events like being hot and stuff. Mad Props :D

Friggin loved Fremy (Why the hell did they make it Flamie *facepalm*) and Adlet's interactions <3 Best girl so much :3 Aoi Yuuki doing her so much justice too :) Her "Kyaa" when Adlet stole the gunpowder bag was so cute <3

Adlet's personality is so fun. Rarely do u see a character like that these days ^^; He knows everything that needs to be known and isn't OP but has just the right amount of strength to not need help. The way he followed Fremy and passed her also the way he was being observant checking the mirror from behind like that was cool ^^

Yes, those little hints were perfect, this might end up more of a full-mystery than ranpo-kitan which I heard is taking a more Dangan Ronpa route.

Also agree that the first volume could be a complete series, I honestly thought it was over first time I read it (I skipped the epilogue) then I found out that there were 3 more volumes.

Pretty good,I enjoyed the atmosphere and Fremy seems like an intriguing character.

And if it is true,what some users claim,that is going to adapt whole volume,I think we may be in for a ride.

And hopefully,sequel series.

I liking Fremy already.
Goldof is also awesome too...the way he fight, he sure is one hell of a strong fighter.
Nashetania is well, what can I say...weak? I guess I just don't like her lol.

Good episode. Is there some backstory to why Speeddraw wants to kill others?

There's backstory for everything. And furthermore, there are explanation for everything you thought was weird/Badly done/a mistake as well. For every character.
Will this be in the show later?

No, the series is still ongoing, but I think what he means is that vol 1 is a perfect place to end a 12 episode cour.

Hm, At this rate, they probably will extend some of the scenes since they may end up using all of the content in Volume 1 and using part of the 2nd Volume without finishing wouldn't be a good idea IMO. Either way, hopefully Passione considers the idea of a 2nd season based on sells.
Currently, most of the animation have been good but if you see the in-betweens and some middle-frames, they are kinda messed up(reminds me of Naruto) yet, they hide those really well. I came across such frames looking for references to draw Adlet.
Been enjoying a bit more the series since I read the current volumes available of the LN, and foreshadowing seems to be building up and that's good.

It may be me but I didn't expected Goldof's voice to be quite rough, then again, he is "mature" for his age.
A lot of doubts like causes behind Piena's Civil War or some background stories of characters may not be covered so reading the LN may be a choice when anime ends for people interested on knowing more of the show.

I started and finished the first volume of the LN while knowing that there are seven heroes, but I don't think it took away from the experience. There are many other twists to come, so don't worry.

//but anyway, would like to see their positions reversed <x....... dammit, I need to get a better leash for my inner fujoshi, it just keeps getting on the loose, damn :P

Considering Adlet received a harsh training according to him and that he can run and even could catch up with Fremy with an iron box in his back (which is described as really heavy for a normal person to lift it up in the LN and don't worry, this happens around episode 2 but wasn't mentioned for some reason), Adlet is strong enough to keep down Goldof with those in consideration, at least IMO.

Fremy = Flamie
Goldof = Goldov
Mayer = Myer

I think these literally gave me cancer. I'm prepped for a round of chemo next week. Honestly, who did these subs for the HS torrent, CR? Funi? Whoever it was get your fucking shit together. A name spell check takes 20 seconds.

Not only HS, but BakedFish as well. Must have been from the source file they were taking it from. Most likely CrunchyRoll's lovely and amazing name spelling is what caused this tragedy. Time to learn Japanese to prevent this.

I own the physical copies of the Rokka volumes. You're going to tell ME what is correct in spelling here? Seriously? Nashetania/Mora/Chamo/Fremy/Goldof/Adlet/Hans.
There's no discussion available here, those names are written at the beginning of the first book in roman letters oon the colour pages.
The names hey used in episode 2 were correct. hey mistook everything in episode 3.

The Mayer/Myer however doesn't have an official romanisation (at least not up to the last volume currently out), only the first name of each character has. So the complaint about "Myer" isn't valid. COnsidering that they misttok most of the first name's spelling it's better not to take seriously the way they spelled 'Myer", but that doesn't make "Mayer" an automatic right answer.

there always have been 6+1 would be an interesting twist, as if even after choosing the heroes one more is added so the group can exclude the less fit and overall increasing their success chances
but that would mean the choosing of the heroes isn't so well done if it requires an extra check to form a working team
and also leaving the choice of who to exclude to the heroes seems a very risky thing to do, since they may end up chosing the wrong person and instead lower their success chances :/

a promotional hint was needed cause it would have taken too much to reach the twist, but maybe they could have worded it in a different way
like "since ancient times 6 heroes have always been choosen to defeat the demon-god.. not this time around"
something like that could have worked as a tease but wouldn't have said too much

This is just getting better and better by the episode. I really like that they're taking their time with this compared to most other LN adaptations, as there really seems to be a whole lot of lore behind all of this. I do wonder how Adlet will react when he finds out about the accusations towards Flamie about her supposedly being the Brave Killer. That should make things more interesting. I'm still betting that it's Goldov though.
