| This is episode was absolutely beautiful. It was hilarious, particularly in the beginning, and intense. They really reached the top of their game with this one, and thats saying a lot for something like Gintama who already have such high expectations of them. |

| It was a good episode, very beautifully directed but I'd say a bit lacking in its comedic part compared with previous instances... but on the other hand it managed to build a mood that was quite interesting. I found it pretty clear that the guy was the murderer so I'm fine with it being revealed as soon as possible. Sounds like a good arc to me so far. Probably not as emotionally striking as others, but still gloomy and stylish. |
| All those Bleach references were great. FINALLY looks like a serious arc is starting my fave thing about Gintama. The ending of that episode was fantastic anything about Gintoki's past is amazing. |

| Amazing episode!! Definitely showcased one of the best animation in the series. Everything was clear and have high quality art. Can't wait to see this again on BD!!! Lol lots of Bleach references. I guess Gintama is one of the few that are allowed to have such references without being punished. Also love the seriousness of this episode, even though there were some funny has hell scenes like Gintoki failing to aid Ikeda Asaemon XD Still haven't revealed who the Seiyuu is. Same with Ikeda Yaemon. Poor Gintoki's nipple XD Want to know more about Gintoki's past and all :) Can't wait for the next episode!! |

| I must say, this season will be the best Gintama season ever, judging from the way this episode was executed. OST really gave me the chills, art was definitely spectacular and of course, that classic mood shift and plot twist. That's what we get when they have the budget and great staff. I'm looking forward to the next episodes and arcs. :)) |

| Lol all of those Bleach reference are so funny! lol for Gintoki assumes that the Shinigami wanted to commits suicide because of her unable to achieve BanKai! Being Gintoki's nipple is suffering. I lost it at the scene it got squished by a car! xD Anyway, the arc developed nicely. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| I choked on my food when she called the skull mask "Pirates of carribean" totally random. Don't know why... But I do know that's why I love Gintama. |
| Finally, the start of the Grim Reaper arc! Dem Bleach references tho, and when will Gintoki finally regain control of his nipples? Gintama is still Gintama. Makes me laugh out loud every episode and has an interesting story for each odd job the Yorozuya does. |

| I couldn't stop laughing at the "suicide aid" scene. Top notch, hehe. Also laughed at the part they kept cutting/attaching Gintoki's nipple. And that ending... can't wait for next episode. |

| This arc's playing out pretty nicely so far (it's certainly exceeded my expectations considering I haven't heard much about it prior). The OSTs they used in this episode were quite lovely, too. |

| lel I'm like 6 months late to watch this episode. I could definitely see all those hilarious Bleach references coming in with the shinigami theme of the arc. Also, I am definitely noticing an improvement in change in the artwork, although I'm not sure if it is just for this arc or if it will continue through the rest of the series. |
