| Erm, what the hell have I just watched?! I've seen my share of bizarre and confusing stuff, but to pull off the shit they try here, the end result should pass the rule of cool. And in my opinion it doesn't, by far. I mean, why is it so lame? The animation is of poor quality. And while the designs of the locations are ok, mostly static frames and off-model shots of characters are very bad for this kind of setting. The dialogues are badly written too. The characters are some kind of artificial yuri-bots. No, I can understand introducing symbolism and stuff, but I talk about the experince of actually watching the show. (And yeah, I understood that the goddamned lily can represent vagina, thankyouverymuch, it's not that hard to get. Also I watched Penguindrum, its first half was ok.) I dunno, maybe fanservice compensates for all these things in the eyes of those, who are into yuri, in my eyes it sure as hell does not. |

| This series has every bit of bizarredness, randomness, and weirdness from Mawaru Penguindrum, and is just as engaging with its mysteriousness. The vibe between the two is so similar that it gets you to watch it. |

| Okay, half the episode I didn't even know wth was going on. All these plot elements just introduced out of the blue, pretty abrupt transitions and such... Left me completely confused throughout the episode(I have no idea about any source material and whatnot). Also, well, super in-your-face fanservice and didn't really like the characters so much, art isn't that great in my opinion, maybe there was some humor but I didn't find it funny. It'll probably need to be 1/5. |

| Um, the depiction at the end of the friend being eaten was a bit off. By that I mean to say that I doubt that she was eaten in the traditional sense of the word. If she was there are several problems with the depiction. First, there is not blood at all, so unless they only ate the portion above her belly, they haven't eaten her. Second, They were eating this person at the crime scene. The police must have combed the area, so it is doubtful that they would miss the girl right behind the structure. This hints that this is a new person and that the other girl are is alive and got away or was eaten elsewhere. Third, when they show the bears in the act of eating, there is no person near them. Hard to say what that is about, could be they forgot to put her in or didn't want to give anything away for the next episode. Anyways, a bit odd... but I think overall the episode gave me mixed feelings... mission accomplished! |

I understand hype for Sakura Trick, I enjoyed it too, nice drawings, and tons of fanservice. Good fanservice. Excellent fanservice. But this anime? Who needs that crappy plot. No plot is better than garbage plot. Probably will drop, it is too fucked up for me. |

| I just hope this will be as good as I have Utena and Penguindrum in memory... they were masterpieces. But this is kind of TOO explicitly sexual for me. Ugh Do you honestly think ikuhara makes his shows the way he does as a dick-waving celebration of how 'amazing and DEEP' he is? You completely miss the entire point of symbolism. The point is that instead of telling you what to think through dialogue as most shows do, he is allowing the viewer to come to his/her own conclusions on what it all means. There is no right answer, and what HE intends it to represent is meaningless. The only thing that matters is the conclusions that YOU draw from it. The story and meaning that I took away from Penguindrum is what made it a masterpiece that is worth talking about 3 years later. Its not hard to understand the stories he tells, but if you look a bit deeper and think about the symbols he chooses you can apply your own take to what it all means. Of course, that requires independent, critical thinking. |

| This is waaaaayyy different from the manga. I was completely taken aback. From what I remember before the anime was announced the Yuri bears were shone in a good light...what the heck happened? |
| Sad to see this show trending so low on MAL. First episode was well executed. Maybe a lot of people didn't realize that Yuri Kuma Arashi was literally going to be a Yuri Bear Storm. |
