| Is it me or Shinichi was so baka in this episode? he could have scared the hell out of those assholes before getting beaten up and humiliated in front of his girlfriend. Why doesn't he figure out that he's got a good weapon and try to act a little bit more self-confident relying on that? like how he did to those who were mistreating a cat. And the way he reacted to his dad's call was also strange. I would definitely freak out but he was kinda too calm and even fell asleep. Wtf? something happens to your mom and that is how you react? sorry but not the ideal type of protagonist for me. |

| Nice. So far I've enjoyed this show as a bit of no-brainer entertainment, but it looks like it's finally starting to mature from a edgy shounen. Though the writing is still rather dim-witted; "The knife is in my way", oh pleeeeease. Migi can stretch all over the place, he could have killed her instantly, but the plot requires him to wait this time. At least come up with a better excuse. |

| This episode was so good, especially because of the buildup ep from last week. Shinichi got stabbed in between his torso, so it missed his heart and lungs, he's okay :) The dubstep wubwubwub was so good XD I laughed so damn hard :) lmfao |

She lets him get his ass beat, makes fun of him for it, and then stalks him to his house and is basically like "yo, we straight homeboy?" No, no we aren't. You two faced bitch. That OST when he was in the kitchen as his "mom" was walking towards the door. my gawd. |

| Godammit. This essentially means that any character can die at any moment, doesn't it? I feel like I'm watching Akame ga Kill. Just when I start liking a character, they get killed off. I hope Shinichi is the one that kills that parasite by beheading it instead of Migi doing it, because that thing stopped being his mother the moment that thing took over. I feel just like Shinichi right now, full of anger. From the preview, looks like Shinichi gets a spiffy new scar. Kind of ironic that he got it from his "mother", since his mother got the scar on her right hand from protecting Shinichi in the past. Edit: NebulaC3I said: Seemed like Migi didn't have plans to take prisoners. Those bullies were about to be sliced and diced. | I thought Shinichi's standing up to the bullies was a fitting reaction given his fear in losing him humanity. Getting trashed because of that was pretty realistic, admittedly. I'm glad it worked out for him. I get the feeling Kana will be more significant in the future. She's apparently far more perceptive than most. She even panicked briefly when she looked into Shinichi's eyes. Seeing Shinichi's father's reaction to Shinichi's mother's death was horrible. That ending was powerful. Shinichi's reaction was understandable given the circumstances. Having to kill your own mother (or, well, her body) would be... I can't even imagine it. I actually thought the dubstep was appropriate: Dubstep by nature sounds alien and intense, and that really helped drive the point that this isn't Shinichi's mother anymore. This is a stranger. I had a feeling that she would become a parasyte (since we saw her face get sliced), but I never thought it would come so early. | WOW THAT GOT REALLY FUCKING DARK! That parasite killing Shinichi's parents came right out of nowhere. Boy that left me in shock for a good 60 seconds. Seeing as that girl can sense a parasite's wavelengths should make this really interesting! Shinichi seems to be slowly losing his sanity though I probably would if both my parents died and if my mom got infected by a parasite. THAT ENDING THOUGH HOLY SHIT THE CLIFFHANGER! Best episode yet in my opinion. 5/5 |

| This...this is an episode right here. It tore me on the inside to think about how agonizing that was for Shinichi to not only lose his mother, but to see her in that form. What's more, he's been weighed down with the regrets of not being able to make right by her. She's standing right in front of him and not a word will get through to her. That last "Mo...m...", holy shit man... |
