delete everything you've said and save the last three letters.
there you go.
Laciie said:Lolitha said: Wow yamato is stupid, believing people like that. Yeah kai is awesome, loved parts where he was talking to mei. Good thing that he will not try to steal mei away. Megu is such a bitch, not just about mei. Looks like Aiko doesn't trust her much. Love her character.
Well, I mean. No one would want to believe things like that about their lover. Yamato tried to deny it at first. But when you hear that kind of thing about the person you're dating, you're going to mull over it the entire day. And then you feel slightly better after the person invites you out or something, just for that happiness to be crushed when you hear a really big rumour about the person you're dating and someone else.
If someone saw Mei and Kai from a distance, they'd think that they would be going out on a date. Of course Yamato would be caught of guard, and though those feelings are annoying, I don't blame the guy. Also, Yamato hasn't been in love with another girl as he has with Mei.
and i guess never approaching THE ACTUAL GF AND ASKING HER is the way to do it and is perfectly understandable. huh. i didn't see it from the moron's POV, thanks.

I'm not sure this episode is a success because I actually felt seething rage towards Megu and Yamato, even though that's a good sign you're deeply invested in the characters. Still, this is why I prefer Tonari (the better shoujo): sure that show has love rivals, but they aren't 2-dimensional and annoying.
FINALLY. a bro who is a fellow"tonari is superior" lover!
Suzie said: Wow, I've gotten to the point where I don't care one bit about any of these characters. I mean come on. I guess I can understand that Mei isn't good at talking about what's bothering her, but Yamato just goes and believes all the tiny rumors even though it's obvious Mei isn't the type to go out on dates with other guys? When a problem can be solved by just the exchange of a few words, but it takes the whole episode and punches and angst and all that, it really irritates me lol.
this. the only reason why i liked this ep is because of kei.
it's good to know that the manga did this better in terms of mei and yamoto, but i feel the anime did it justice with kei's time to shine.

Mei x Kai!!! :D
i support!
PS: I love how Mei is just standing there, watching them fight(over her) xD
lol was thinking the same thing.

I wish my plain/emo personality and plain looks could get two of the most beautiful people in school to fight over me too.
then work on not being emo.

To be fair, Mei is just as dumb as him. It looks like they can't comunicate with each other. It's almost stressful to watch.
this so much. they simply do not match each other. in so many ways.
AnimeForDummies said: I wasn't so sure about Kai being introduce late into the anime , but I worked out perfectly in this episode
indeed.
annparra said: This anime would be perfect if only Mei ends up with Kai. Yamato is just idiot, that's all, and Kai likes her and understand her
exactly what i'm saying!
Takana_no_Hana said:Ahohime said: Why has every shoujo anime have to be so f-ing frustrating?
Fixed.
uh nope. if that was the case tonari wouldn't exist.

Mei's and Yamato's relationship is full of apologies. It's annoying. Mei is annoying. Yamato is annoying. Omg, Meg is pissing me off with the bitch seeping through. Every single student and their rumors are annoying. The only decent characters are homegurl who starved herself to get to Yamato and especially Kai. I have so much respect for Kai.
that thing that pisses me off is that she always apologies first and apologies last. as if she's the real problem of the relationship.
the reason why everyone is expecting more from yamoto is because he used to be a renowned wild playboy. he would KNOW how this stuff works at least 25% more than the small, meaningless virgin that mei is. but he's acting like HER, and even stupider at that.
Psychocitybaby said:
When Kai raised his arm and pointed his finger at Mei, I had to laugh. Also who fights and then talks calmly right afterward? Romance is about emotion and these characters' emotions are way off. There was no screaming at all after the fight, but when there's no need for drama, they simply overdo it (Kai's finger in Mei's face).
yeah the whole "beat the crap out of you and then talk" would have SO not happened in real life, lol.

How about a dense guy who fails to realize the pain Mei feels, but has a caring heart that loves Mei sincerely. He just needs to pay more attention to her.
exactly.
Kai x Mei would be my ideal choice but too bad he views her as a friend.
but that's only because she's taken. he still loves her. like yamaken.
FeSTiNaLeNTe said: I just hope Kai ends up with someone as good as him ^-^
it's mei, believe me. in another story, in another world, in another place, they're together.
while yamoto is on drugs because he never wanted a successful life as a model and eventually dies of an OD >:P
MagnaMoon said: Wow! Rumors in their school sure do spread a lot...
and fast. i have never went to an actual school but i'm pretty sure they don't spread as fast (if not faster) as the speed of light.

I love the last part. Yamato x Mei moment. ♥

how romantic.

wow so yamato is even more of an idiot (he actually thinks a boy his GF met less than a week ago is cheating with him!) and mei is more closed mouthed than ever. this is getting really disgusting.
and i now understand the hate everyone has for meg, although i find her a simple nuisance and nothing more. besides, she'd have 0 power in the first place if she wasn't manipulating such a dumbo.
and oh BROTHER. does every single character (besides yamato, we must not sully our precious gorgeous male MC, however his sister is something else; she's all game) have an instant pity-bully story? well too late, meg has been too much of a jerk for her to get forgiven so fast, the little slut.
HOLY SMACK. just that small playground-talk kei said to mei, it suddenly came to my head on just how 100% better he is to yamato! looks like i was right about one thing, he really does add light to this boring show. right now, of this second, i consider kei to be right for mei. he seems so much more supportive to her (and less stupid) than yamoto. both are honest, but kei is more brutal. i immediately liked him when he said that mei wasn't confident in herself and heavily relied on others - the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of that crap yamoto was spouting last ep. kei sees her as she really is; yamoto sees her as he imagines her.
even though they barely met mei to have any sufficient feelings for her, at least kei would be my choice in the matter.
(so much to say in a 2 minute talk, i know. but i've been so down about everyone and everything about this show. will we at least see a small saving grace in the end of the show?)
WAIT A MINUTE. YOU REALLY MEAN TO TELL ME YAMATO WAS THAT MUCH OF AN ***HAT THAT HE REALLY DIDN'T TAKE HER HOME? what a legitimate jerk. how dare mei go back to him after kei's talk. i bet if she explained what yamoto did he'd tell her to forget him.
kei's confession was fast but meaningful and heartwarming. i really liked that.
but i was laughing SO HARD when yamoto got a full knuckle punch in the face,YES! he MORE than deserved that.
and LOL. yamoto's argument to keeping mei is PATHETIC.
"So what if you guys relate emotionally past and presently?! So what if you appreciate her for who she is, but doesn't refrain from firmly chiding her flaws?! So what if you're there for her and I'm not?! So what if you don't walk over and ignore her feelings?!
"I'm interested in her because she kicked my hand....and...I want to show her fun things!"
WHAT. and then they pair up after this?!?!? this was mei's BIGGEST chance to say "Wait a minute, hon, Kei does have a point there..." and think on it.
seriously. more or less kei just revealed and exposed yamoto for being absolute garbage. he only cares about his feelings for mei. proof on what near insignificant footing their relationship stands on is by this very ep. they dang near BROKE UP over something so small and were rejoined by something just as small (if not smaller). sorry peeps, officially a lowkey shipper of kei x mei. they are just tons better (and a more logical choice).
another sign that yamoto is a garbage BF: what kind of BF pulls their GF on the freaking floor with him? how is that even remotely attractive? |
