| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, Melida snapped but she also made her intentions clear. The fight was pretty straightforward but they did make the setting (Alice and Wonderland-ish) somewhat interesting. Otherwise, this was a really predictable fight (they even added the opening theme song lol) and story that ended up being nothing more than mediocre, even in the final episode. |

| bruh, sensei did the classic meme with unsheathing the sword and villain is defeated lmao barely had any interest finishing this show, was really hard to care either for her being of a samurai class or any internal family drama. i swear the op was probably the only good part of this show i also feel immeasurably baited by that first episode sakuga and never seeing anything like that later in the show |

| I actually did enjoy this show quite a bit. It wasn't my favorite but it also didn't get as bad as some of the other stuff this season did. |
| Overall it was lacking in every aspect, interesting story but feel like it could have been so much better. Characters were nice. Opening is great! Animation was great at one point, but it didn't manage to portray that in every episode. Heck, the battle in this final episode was underwhelming. Average at best. It was entertaining at times! 5/10 |

| That was a better ending than I expected. I wasn't expecting an 'Alice in Wonderland' scenario with Melida on trial for being illegitimate. They set it out well, but they also let Melida take centre stage. I thought Kufa would come in earlier than he did & save her, but they let Melida fight for her own honour, the reason that she's been training this whole time anyway. So it was great to see just how much she has grown stronger. I don't know the difference in quality between the Paladin rank (which would confirm Melida as lady of the House of Angel) & the Samurai rank (which calls into question Melida's place in the House of Angel), but it seems that even as a Samurai Melida is able to overcome any obstacle put in front of her. As the series has gone on, I've felt lesss and less than there's a genuine romantic attachment between Melida & Kufa. She has a childish girly crush on him, and he admires her for her strength, but I don't think it's love. But their interaction with each other has grown as the series has progressed & it's been fun to watch. The thing I liked most about this show was the world and the environments that we got to see. These enclosed cities and gothic style establishments. They were the real star of the show imo. Great show 8/10 for me. |

| Oh Gosh. This and ValxLove were the biggest jokes of this season. I havent seen such bad shows in a long time. Basically a very good examples of how to destroy an anime 101. 2/10 from me. |

| Nice Melida's father finally showed some affection towards her. The conspiracy ended for now and Melida even showed them that she aint incompetent anymore. Kufa and Melida's post credit scene was sweet. Overall pretty decent anime. |

| The episode felt really rushed, but the whole series does anyways, I think they could've easily made it twice as long and fleshed out the characters and arcs a bit more, this episode alone should have been spread between two eps, I kinda don't reemmber what happened episode 11 but I most definitely don't remember how we got to the place at the start of this episode so fleshing out the story a bit more would have been real nice :^) As the series is, I would objectively say it's a bit meh, but apparently i'm trash for trash so I really quite enjoyed it anyways. I'm torn between giving the series a 9 or not since my HEART is saying 9 but my brain is telling me it's a 5 at the very most, so i've compromised with myself and given the series an 8, 8 for trash that I very much enjoyed. |

| Show had it's up and downs but I quite liked it. I think the story has potential and I don't know what the source is like but I feel this could've been better than what it is. Sometimes it felt too fast, plot lines progressing too fast before we can understand why everyone wants to make Melida miserable. Most characters were average except for Melida, I really liked her as a character, determined, strong willed and willing to prove her worth to everyone. Kufa was a cool too, I think their relationship was nicely done. Production was very average, I guess that was to be expected. Like I said, I think this had potential to be something good, I don't know what the source is like but maybe somewhere down the line if I remember I'll give it a try. Also, Melida is very cute, I love her design. <3 That final scene with her tearing up after getting her father's approval was great. 6/10 , I doubt there will ever be a second season but I'll probably watch it if there was once. |

| God what a disappointment this show turned out to be. I thought I was pissed with how badly Shield Hero dropped but this just took the cake. If the show actually chose to follow Kufa's story more it could've actually been not too bad but no Instead we get pointless episodes of lame ass girl drama and yuri bait (like seriously, what was the point of Elise apart from those 2 lol). On top of that Melida went from actually being a promising heroine to just plain annoying. Kufa as well was supposed to be a false white knight and only be pretending, but nop. The whole show was just him white knighting Ono Yuuki ASMR/10 |

| Well it wasn't the worst thing I watched this season. I did get some enjoyment out of this anime, but the family drama and classes and all that just weren't interesting. It was kind of hard to finish watching this BUT HERE I AM. |

| Good finale! That trial was really interesting, it was really in alice in wonderland theme! Obvious Kufa woulkd appear in right moment, and they fought together against that "clown"! Overall was an interesting and enjoyable show, a lot of awesome character, i will miss some of them! The moment when Melida's acknowledged her saying that a relative from past was Samurai, it was really a heartwarming moment, honestly! Pos ending moment was also sweet, in that adorable moment between Melida and Kufa! 7/10 for me! |

| The show was not that appealing to me so I gave it a 3/10 rating. Though, I really like the OP and ED theme songs. Run Girls Run was really decent and Tomori Kusunoki had a great performance for the ED and as Melida Angel. I hope to see more of her in the future since she is great as a voice actress. |

| Okay, I honestly had no idea what was happening in the first half. Overall, it was meh. Kinda liked the ending I guess. For some reason it just felt satisfying to see her father finally acknowledge her. One thing that surprised me was that it really made me confused as to whether she really is legitimate or illegitimate. I thought the show was going to keep her as being illegitimate and that somehow would sort itself out, but now I'm confused whether she really is illegitimate because apparently it's completely possible that a descendant of a Knight-Duke House might NOT be of the same Paladin class? It felt like a plothole but at the same time I kinda liked how I don't know whether she's legitimate or not at this point. Ending would've had more impact if the story had been developed better. A lot of what the father did made no sense, and it seems her father's whole demeanour and behaviour changed completely in this last episode. I don't really regret watching this, but it's not memorable either. |

| This needs a S2 just to piss off the goons in this thread, lol. (one even played the "blame the pacing" card...jackpot!) Anyway. You know shit is about to go down when the opening theme starts playing. Overall, good show. Started good, went on just decent, picked up the pace in the last 3 episodes. Good ending for all the characters overall. Also the father was really concerned about her and not only an asshole good to know xD 7.5/10 for me |
