he just had faith that Baremoto was a good guy

Which furthers my question... why?!

Well the way I see it, having faith in Baremoto was his only option. It was either that, or accept that they were all going to die in the fire. Sakuragi couldn't accept that, so the only other option was to hope beyond hope that Baremoto would have the key. Faced with those choices, he decided to depend on the small chance that they would be saved.

That's the only explanation that makes any sense at all to me.

That was so BA when they walked out of that fire. Also Ishihara's face was priceless xD

That felt so good when "bro" punched Ishihara.

The doctor is up to no good.

Baremoto saved them in the end, he had to after all the shit he did and said in the previous episode.
Ishihara being punched was epic too.
An-chan didn't kill his father, he just called him worthless when he really was, but I can understand his guilt, stupid war again, it changed him.
I wonder why is he there, because I don't think that was the reason.

I liked the conclusion to the fire, Uncovered's redemption didn't feel forced or cheap, he really repented, and it was his wish to save his friends that saved them all. They didn't even blame him for anything either, he was just unconditionally accepted by them, and if this didn't change him, nothing will; but I'm sure that he isn't going to waste this second chance. And also, Bro punched that 'guard' in the face. Being as petty, and as cowardly as he is I'm sure that he is going to do something about it, but it was satisfying for sure.

And then we learned about Bro's past, to think that a decent human being, at least she seemed decent enough, would be working there. But I didn't like the guilt he carries over his father's death. It wasn't his fault at all. What happened to his family is truly saddening, but he was able to move on, his mother was too, and of course it wasn't easy. To say that it is his fault just because he tried to make his father react is too much. Was he supposed to bear with the physical, and verbal abuse until his father died or miraculously became decent again? He was just trying to make him see the mess he had become, it was just a wake-up call, he wasn't trying to kill him, it wasn't his fault that he committed suicide at all. Now we just need to know why he was arrested.

Nothing more gay than bringing a bunch of bananas into a hospital.
In a rainbow series no less.

I'm assuming this is a bad skimmed adaptation from the manga using only the pivotal moments of bonding because the lack of proper foundation of the characters makes me careless and uninterested in their journey.

From a terrible intro of six teenagers who go into their cell and attempt to talk to their new cellmate who's rude to them, calling them kids, mocking them for no apparent reason to instigate them, followed by beating them all up with his boxing, until the security guard comes to beat him with his stick and pressure them to hit them with it, which they refuse to and for whatever reason feel sympathy for him.
With no proper explanation or revealement they comprehend each other. Skip to a month later, with no depth, they're friends.
Finally to episode four from where I stopped, while they're backstories on fact seem interesting, they're unconditional bond with random episodic plots with forceful glorified music and dialogue is fake.

Unfortunately, even though the surface of the characters seems good with the potential of their situations, the story is ruined with flaws of forcing glory of bonding with no proper foundation of development to their bond. 4/10.

you know, i was dead set on believing what i had claimed last episode on not forgiving baremoto. but the moment i saw his ass in the air, crawling to find the key in desperation on the ground, that all ebbed away. then the whole "they're the only friends i've ever had!" got me throwing my head back with my hand over my eyes, this dude REDEEMED himself. most notable was sakuragi decimating his father with telling him how pathetic he was. those words held too much impact, got shut down real quick. i keep getting the vibes in each episode that sakuragi is going to die (not good). he just seems like he's the type to die valiantly for a cause, for the plot, to better the characters... leaves me in a constant state of pen tapping anxiety. whoever dropped that chunk of ceiling on his leg gotta aim harder. most likely the nurse is going to fall in love with sakuragi, standing around and getting told his father's death before he even told his own bros. makes sense. but what doesn't is the bananas left outside his door... what the fck does this mean gang... bait? your whole rainbow show is bait? anyways, doc's looking sus. somehow nearly every adult in every area of profession (besides the nurse) manage to carry issues, so where are their tearjerking backstories? i take that back, i don't want to know.

This show has 26 Episodes and i already had wet eyes several times during the 4th one. I dont think i'm ready for this...
Also i personally don't really like the "power of friendship" thing wich we know from many shonen, but in Rainbow i just love it. Now i know that the poer of friendship can be a good thing in fiction when you handle it right
