| I'll go first. 1. Sousou no Frieren. 2. Kudou Kiyoka. 3. Saimori Miyo. 4. Eiyuu Kyoushitsu. I expected a decent ecchi, but not only there was nothing nice to look at, the humor wasn't to my liking either. 5. S4 ruined my overall opinion about AoT and its ending finished it off. 6. Uchida Maaya. 7. I'm not a fan of that term, but putting that aside she's on my avatar right now. 8. Very serious. She's one of the reasons I'm not committing sudoku. 9. Yes. My favorite one is this figure of Rixia Mao. 10. Sousou no Frieren and Oshi no Ko ended up being in my favorites, Kusuriya is decent too. 11. Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu. 12. City Hunter. 13. Naruto: Shippuuden. As much as I loved the original Naruto entry, Shippuuden ended up being a disappointment all things considered. 14. Rarely, mostly doujins. 15. There are many people I genuinely like and enjoy talking to. 16. "Oshi no Ko" Season 2. 17. Zemuria, together with Shizuna. 18. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. The Endless Eight arc to be genius from the artistic perspective and a chore from the viewer's perspective. Haven't finished the second season and the movie yet, but so far I like Mikuru the most. 19. Revy. 20. I'm not sure... Maybe Zenitsu? 21. Hunter x Hunter. 22. Iya na Kao sare nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai. 23. Reinhard von Lohengramm. 24. Chihaya, Minami, Chiyuki, Umi, Kanan, Shizuku, Haven't watched superstar. 25. | 1. The First Slam Dunk 2. and 3. - honestly I can't think of any specific characters that would stand out a lot, so skip 6. Shiozawa Kaneto, I guess 7. Similar as with favourite characters, there are some characters that I guess I could call that, but not a specific one 9. Nope 10. Only read first volume of OnK manga (iirc it's the equivalent of the first episode of anime) and it was a fun enough read, but I couldn't stand any of the characters. Also, those stars in the eyes look very stupid. 11. LoGH (and favourite anime in general as well) 12. JoJo 13. Fairy Tail. Wouldn't call it a good series, but was an okay watch, so at least I wouldn't tell I wasted that time. 14. Sometimes 15. I don't do it often, but I think mostly yes 16. Chainsaw Man sequel 19. Looking at the MAL top faved characters, the highest ranked one I strongly dislike is Zero Two 20. Couldn't think of anyone, but from searching for "most hated anime characters" just from few top few results I can go with Shinji Ikari, Sakura Haruno, and Tower of God's Rachel 21. Again looking at MAL's top rankings, I very much didn't like Koe no Katachi 22. Not sure about "commonly", since I doubt many people even heard of it, but Kandagawa Jet Girls has mean score on MAL below 6 and I really enjoyed it 23. Creators of old LoGH anime didn't spend that much effort on making Reinhard's hair extra sparkly and lush for me to pick anyone else 25. Iskandar or Gilgamesh 27. Lots of those, first one that came to mind is original Gundam 28. Does reverse isekai count? If yes, then Dead Mount Death Play. If not, Ascendance of a Bookworm 29. Id:Invaded 30. | Alriigghht let’s do this, looks fun! 1. Heavenly Delusion for sure, made it onto my favourites and everything 2. Shion from Hell’s Paradise 3. Maomao from The Apothecary Diaries—think this’ll be a popular choice 4. The Bartender anime this season I know it’s a beloved series being remade and I love adult casted shows but this was so boring to me (though I love a cocktail!) 5. it was a perfect ending to a perfect show and I’m unsure if any other resolution would’ve felt right, I was a manga reader though and loved it then too despite some pushback from other, usually western readers (I heard the ending wasn’t controversial in Japan in comparison) 6. Yui Ishikawa, I just love her voice acting 7. no waifus/husbandos here 8. skip 9. I don’t but I have some Cardcaptor Sakura figures from when I was a kid that I love 10. Frieren is great I’m halfway through and it is very emotionally stirring to watch although I’m unsure if I’d rate it #1 of all time but that’s just me, I've not seen the Oshi no Ko anime but I’ve started the manga and am intrigued by the premise, and The Apothecary Diaries was one of my favourite anime of last year and would be a go to recommendation going forward 11. probably Cowboy Bebop, though I admittedly haven’t see many 12. for me it’s Attack on Titan and like Pokémon too 13. the first 276 eps of Pokémon are under a single entry, definitely worth my time my childhood was made happier by it 14. | 1. Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Season 2 2. Gojo Satoru 3. Frieren 4. I haven't dropped any anime over the past year 5. The story writing, in general, falls off from S4 onwards, the ending seemed just about as I expected from the start of the series, however, its execution was really poor. 6. Mamoru Miyano 7. Violet Evergarden 8. Not too serious about it tbh, just one of my fav characters 9. No 10. Haven't seen Kusuriya no Hitorigoto yet. Didn't like Oshi no Ko all that much. Sousou no Frieren was a refreshing watch as it felt different from most typical anime and these days I go around recommending it to everyone thinking about getting into anime. 11. Cowboy Bebop :) added it under PTW so that I can rewatch it when I find time. 12. Death Parade. Loved the opening 13. Dragon Ball Z, Was worth it as DBZ was a major part of my childhood. 14. No 15. | 1. A bit of a basic answer but I'll say Frieren. Most anime I've watched in the past year haven't been above an 8. 2. Kotarou Tennouji from Rewrite... but he mostly shines in the VN, so I think my real answer would be Kaito Kid from Magic Kaito. 3. I'll say Frieren. There's definitely been characters I liked more in the past year, but they have been from manga/VNs. 4. Mysterious Disappearances. Synopsis wayyy oversold the show, and the fanservice was over the top and annoying. 5. Skip 6. Keiko Suzuki. This isn't an anime performance, but her voicing of Meiko in Snow was amazing, and it's far from her only great role. 7. No 8. Skip 9. No 10. Frieren was a great fantasy series, I dunno if it should be #1 on MAL but still, really loved it. Oshi no Ko wasn't my jam so I dropped. 11. I'll go with To Heart, I think. 1999 is a bit cheeky though lol 12. If it were just openings I'd say Gintama, but the endings weren't THAT memorable. I'll put it between Mob Psycho 100 and Psycho Pass. 13. Black Clover, 170 episodes. I'd say it was worthwhile, it wasn't perfect by any means but it was able to remain consistently enjoyable. I'll probably rewatch it someday. 14. No. The only hentai I've "watched" is One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e True Stories, which I watched with the 18+ content cut for the sole reason of it being an adaptation of a VN I like. 15. Some people yeah. Others... lol 16. 100% Shoushimin. That announcement was genuinely a dream come true, as it's one of my favorite novel series ever. I'm also pretty excited for the Summer Pockets anime and the One Piece remake. 17. Narnia Narnia Narnia, that's where I'd want to go. Preferably during the Golden Age, but I'm not too picky unless I have to jump into the events of The Last Battle lol. 18. Frieren. Great "all-rounder," in that it was strong in pretty much all areas. Good story, characters, visuals, music, etc. No real complaints. Frieren herself is my favorite, though I also really liked Fern and Denken. 19. Hmm, tough call. Maybe Haruhi? But she does get her fair share of hate. 20. Mika Shimotsuki from Psycho-Pass. I think lots of the hate she gets comes from people who quit after S2. And that's fair, but she really gets a lot of great development. 21. Genuinely what do people like so much about Shiki? It doesn't have any idea what it wants to do. It isn't much of a horror anime, or a mystery, or anything else for that matter. Just a vessel for its cheap message of mob mentality, which I can find better portrayed in any other story. 22. Charlotte comes to mind. It's not perfect, certainly not, but it's so much fun to watch and it GETS the rule of cool. Maybe I'm just biased towards Jun Maeda. 23. Hmm... not something I generally consider. Maybe Yukito Kunisaki from Air? 24. Skip 25. Skip 26. Skip 27. I keep putting off Hunter x Hunter because of how long it is. I'm sure I will love it when I finally watch it though. 28. I'm not a big isekai fan but Bookworm and Eminence in Shadow are probably contenders. 29. Clannad. It does take time to get going, but it's all part of a wonderful story that will hit so close to home. There's a reason Tomoya is still one of anime's most loved protagonists after all these years! 30. Get into Key (the visual novel studio), it's so worth it. While the anime was airing, a LOT of people took a dislike of Soo-won from Akatsuki no Yona, but once I started to read the manga I started to feel sorry for him and I like the complexity of his character. 21. What anime is commonly liked, but you don't like? Not a surprise, but I really hated Mushoku Tensei. 99% of the reason is Rudeus. The other 1% is the series is a typical mediocre isekai that I simply can't relax watching when I want to bash the MC's face in 100% of the time. Which is why I won't watch beyond that first season. Dungeon Meshi, I already saw a gourmet anime, the way dungeon meshi started, just stroked me the wrong way. 5. I didn't liked it, I had preferred to stay with an open ending of S3 part2. 6. Saori Hayami I love her voice 7. Hmmm tbh I have like a harem where I keep piling them up, latest addition is Fenrys 8. Just for fun, nothing serious 9. No, I don't 10. Frieren = 9, I enjoyed it, pretty chill, nice (background) music, many nice characters, I'll definitely check S2, hope to see more of übel! Oshi no Ko = 8, great visuals and interesting characters, hope to see more of Pieyon, he made me laugh Kusuriya no Hitorigoto = 6, I rated it higher in the beginning, but as time moved on, my enjoyment was dropping. I'm not sure if I'll check S2 11. Ufff, I don't have a list where I can summon 1 easily, but Great Teacher Onizuka came into mind and it barely made it so I'l pick this one! 12. Gintama, most tracks are even on my cellphone, something other series can't say. 13. Hmmm, I have seen many long series, but I think the longest is Naruto Shippuden with 500 episodes, but tbh I didn't liked the Fourth Ninja War that was infected with memories of the past, it became a slog to get through it. Was it worth it? Barely, I wanted closure after being invested for so long, but in the end I enjoyed Naruto far more then Naruto Shippuden. I enjoyed Fairy Tail as a whole far more with the current 328 episodes in total (175+102+51) 14. Yes, I watch, I also did read some, but not much. 15. I would say overall yes 7/10 16. Probably Bleach, to bad it always take so long for little episodes. 17. a medieval setting with magic and catgirls/foxgirls. A good circumstance would be to just be an average joe in that isekai world but with OP powers so I can just easy cruise through everything without any trouble towards me. So illusionary magic, invisible magic, flight, eagle eye, super hearing, fast regeneration, healing magic, revive magic, buff & debuff magic, morph magic, time travel abilities & the saiyan attribute 'what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger' :P , sword master, knife master, spear master, bow master, axe master, CQC master, affinity with fire, water, thunder, earth, wind, dark, light, shadow & holy magic lol 18. Strongest tank, 4/10, not recommendable, extremely generic, no in depths characters, weak story, inconsistencies, bad animation, truly an abomination of a show. I'm surprised I was able to finish it, I wanted to drop it earlier, should have trusted my instinct. 19. Lelouch, if I were in his shoes, I would have done far better. I don't understand why he's liked. There are many others, but this one is the one I thought of first. 20. Rudeus the Pervy Sage gets a lot of hate & flak, I like him because I don't agree with the main hate reasons and flak he gets. 21. Full Metal Alchemist, I tried 3 times & 3 times I failed to get engaged into it. Therefore I have never seen FMA Brotherhood either. 22. Interspecies Reviewers, very funny and enjoyable for me, while hated by others because of the ecchi and absence of proper censorship. 23. Euhm male?... The 1 I thought of doesn't have a picture, he's from a manhwa -> Callisto Regulus 24. I haven't seen any of those idol anime, but if Oshi no Ko counts, then Kana Arima 25. I haven't seen the entire series, but I have seen some. Of the ones I saw, I liked this guy the most. 26. Haven't seen it, don't know them, but after a quick look on the MAL pages, I choose her! 27. Frieren has great atmosphere and animations, but the travel story was bland and couldn't get into the setting (it feels like more serious fantasy but then it aimlessly adds random RPG references which completely throw me out of the experience). I haven't watched Oshi no Ko. It doesn't look bad, but based on some clips I'm not a fan of the humor. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto had a nice historical feel to it. I really enjoyed it, but I was a bit disappointed how it progressed in the second half. 11. What is your favorite pre-2000 anime? Whisper of the Heart (1995) 12. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (to get up to date with the new season.) After enjoying the previous seasons I've been a bit disappointed in the Swordsmith Village arc. There was almost no buildup to the demons appearing and none of them was particularly interesting. The fights also didn't feel very satisfying, it was too easy. I liked Genya. 19. What character is commonly liked, but you don't like? Holo (from Spice and Wolf) I always found very frustrating how Holo tries to scam people and how she constantly gambles everything they have. 20. (Maybe it's obvious from how often I already mentioned the anime) The in my opinion best use of the isekai trope ever, the story just wouldn't work if it wasn't an isekai. Unfortunately the last few episodes were plagued by some major production issues, and even though the anime finds a good stopping point after 24 episodes it's far from covering the whole story. 29. (mentioned this one a lot, too) You don't need to know anything about Love Live! to enjoy it, and it's in my opinion the best CGDCT idol anime out there. 30.
